HTML in Signature ? - About xda-developers.com

please help me.
i´m unable to use HTML in my signature
you can see what hapend...

I assume you aren't allowed to use HTML in your signature because you do not have sufficient privileges. Maybe the Senior Member user group doesn't allow it. You can always just use HTML for a PayPal button. There might be a donate link written for BB code, you can always try that.

thank you.
i will test it.

You can't have html in this forum but, you can use BB code.
e.g. [url=https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donations&business=d%2elaska%40yah oo%2ede&no_shipping=0&no_note=1&tax=0& amp;currency_code=EUR&lc=US&bn=PP%2dDonationsBF&charset=UTF%2d8]the text you want[/url]
which would come out as
the text you want
However, I think that link may not work...

A simple request for the admins.

I've got a bit of a request. Is it possible to change my name, because resently I found out, why I can't log in useing Opera on my PDA, and now, I've started using Opera on my PC and I can't log in on the board because of the "™" part in my name. Can you please change my name to [email protected] or [email protected]_, so I can log in useing Opera and stop useing IE.
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Please PM Flar (Site Admin) with the details. She is currently on holiday, but the request should be dealt with on her return (if it's not lost in the sea of PM's she'll have).
Thanks
Dave
Thanks and done

Job offer for Android developer

Not sure if it's again the policy here:
Our company wants to use Android 2.x devices, but needs some modifications of how the build in E-Mail app replys and forwards e-mails.
We want it to use a specific font and if possible a From/To/Date/Subject header. We also need a signature which can be implemented is a individual script file of each device.
I am not very familiar if this can be done in Android. In WebOS it is easy, because the java scripts are accessible.
So if you know how to mod the components, please reply or send a private message, so we could talk about fees.

restricted

Hi how come I can not see some posts?
anyone can help me thanks..
vBulletin Message
luxio, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1.Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

A few changes have been created to help the fight against spambots. As such all new members (until they reach 5 posts...used to be 8 but I believe its been reduced to 5) will have some restrictions such as unable to post links, access to certain areas and also their first 5 posts are monitored and approved. Once you have reach this limit these restrctions will be removed.
Thanks for you patience in this matter
Rick
OK: I'm curious why I can't download basic stuff like MTTY, even though I'm listed as a "senior member" with over 100 posts. Insufficient privileges, but why?
I've brought this up in the moderator forum. Hopefully the admins can look into this for you.
Also, try the suggestions I made in reply to your other post.
Ta,
Dave

There are new restrictions on posting links / pics etc but there are not supposed to be download restrictions. As Dave said above this has been raised by the Mods and Admin is aware - but I'll check on it.
Mike
thank you i just need to get post counts up
You do not have permission to access this page
I get the You do not have permission to access this page message when I try to view http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=639168 It's the MobilePad thread. Is the whole thread closed or is it about MY account? So far I have 13 posts.
Could someone of the senior members try to view that thread and report back here?
I'd apprectiate it.
Regards MaeSiuS
I can't access that thread too, so the count of posts would not be the problem.
I'd guess that thread got removed for violating forum rule #11:
11. Don’t post with the intent on selling something

A removed thread will give you the following warning:
Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator

The thread has been moved to a restricted internal review section of the forum as it appears to breach Forum Rule #11. The XDA Admins have already been notified.
Regards,
OK thanks for pointing that out.

******ROM POSTING******

The following are reasonable formats that are suggested when posting a new ROM. We expect your ROM post to look somewhat professional and easy to understand.
1. Requirements (bootloader version, radio version etc)
2. State that it's from an official manufacturer or source base (stock ROM or AOSP-like source).
3. Thread shows a clear overview of changes made, in a way that users can see what has changed.
4. Explicit installation instructions.
5. ROMs need to identify what kernel they are using. If 100% stock then they must state that.
6. If custom kernel they must provide a link to the kernel on XDA (if available) or a link to the kernel source. This is required by GPL. Stock (untouched) kernels can link to the manufacturers source (if available).
7. At least 2-4 images (screen-shots) 1 of which must be of system/device info. Do not use photo hosts thay deluge users with ads and popups when they select the image. You can either attach the images, or use a hosting service such as photo-bucket for example.
8. Links to downloads. A link to a direct download is preferred. Linking to external websites home pages are not allowed, it must be linked to the Downloads page. Also use of "ad-driven" (adfly for example) or "commercial" sites are mostly not allowed. Registration on some sites "may" be allowed, but is subject to XDA Moderation approval.
9. Credits for sources used. Very important.
10. Keep your "asking for donations to a limit. You already have a "Donate" button.
Simply posting a link to some download site "here it is, download it", is not allowed.
Any questions, please feel free to contact any moderator.
Thank You
Moderation Team
