A639 bricked - ROM dump? - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hello,
I tried to update my Asus A639 from WM5 to WM6 (hardware keys seized to work) - unfortunately, midway the setup threw an error (corrupted archive - how the checksum could be OK then?) and the device is bricked.
I don't want to bring it to the retailer (I don't have a month to wait till it's repaired + I don't want random strangers to read my flash card) so I need to get ROM dump (A639, preferably English). I wasn't able to find any ROM dump on the Internet - could somebody please point me to a source? (in PM, if this is against forum rules).
Thanks,
K.

greek rom

i would like your help.could someone who knows what he is doing to integrate the attached file in this tread to the RUU_Diamond_HTC_Europe_1.93.401.2_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.the attached file is the one that ace-hellas uses to turn the system language and settings into greek.the problem is that this file recognises the imei of the device and cannot be used if the device was bought out of greece.the instructions of this official greek update is first to install the rom above and then the attached file.but my imei is not listed in ace-hellas because i bought the device from england so it cannot be installed.pls anyone help me.this could make a lot of greek diamond(bought out of greece) owners extremely happy...
I second that... HTC's Greek distributor's policy is just plain annoying - we can't have a proper Greek HTC device unless we buy from them...
Indeed, if someone could remove the IMEI check...

Eten Glofish Dx900 dual sim help

Hi I have recently bought the dx 900 dual sim from taiwan,,,and i am trying to unlock the phone to flash english rom but i am having alot of trouble. I have tried most of the eten forums but of no use i am always a fan of this forum and i hope i could find help here....
We need a E-TEN GLOFIISH DX 900 Forum on xda forum developers
Hi everyone,
I bought an E-Ten glofiish dx 900 and i really need some genious as those of xda forum developers!! We Need some customised roms for that phone. Please help us to cid unlock the device in order to update it using vista so we could upgrade it with any rom. Who can make it possible here??
1. Take out SD and SIM
2. Connect the device via active sync
3. Start the installer to which ever version of ROM u wish to flash. (Warning: It has to be an EUU sequence file)
including the sequence installing PDAupdate
Do not press the button finish.
Do not close this app.
4. Check out
C:documents and settings/users/xx(xx=your computer/ name)/local settings/temp
and find the two files :
temp.dat
USBDLUpdate_Console.exe
Btw., to see the directory local settings , you have to make hidden folders visible !
copy them into a new folder e.g. onto your desktop
download the DX900_UUEs.exe and also copy it inside your newly created folder.
5. Start the DX900_UUEs.exe within the folder.
6. Update does start right away after you confirmed on DX900 screen
After that: Do not touch - it does need about 5 minutes or more.
Some update progress to be seen on BW screen.
But wait until updater on your PC screen did finish the whole progress, even if it seems to be ready at the PDA screen.....
Enjoy.
Btw. be sure , your battery is fully charged before starting the progress.
for the DX900_UUEs.exe please msg me with your email address.. i somehow couldnt upload it here

Issues upgrading (searched and searched)

Hi there
I am trying to upgrade my Xda Exec (O2 - corporate mode) and have read the posts and guides and downloaded all that I have to. Anyway on running the wizard service tool I get the following info:
Wizard Service Tool v4.2.2

So logic says I need to follow the G3 guide. So when I try and run the button rom I get error code 222. Having searched this I have tried bootloader mode but in that mode activesync doesn't recognise the device. I'm lost. If you are able to help I would appreciate it very much. Thank you
forgot to add this (don't know if it helps)
on running sim unlock (even tho I know my phone works on any network) and also CID (read block)

and there was me thinking that after reading the guides it seemed pretty easy....lol

If you've read a lot I may be barking up the wrong tree but....can this tool (wizard service tool) be use for the Universal (Xda Exec)? Me thinks not all Wizard development tools (made for the HTC Wizard) work on Universal....
Wizard Service Tool?
Not sure what it is and why you used it at all, sorry. I think your case is a clear illustration of too much knowledge corrupts the mind.
Your best bet is probably to disable USB connection settings in AS, remove SD and SIM and try again.

[Solution] Attention D855K Owners! (Australia)

Dear Denizens of XDA!
I've finally fixed my phone upon giving up hope a few months ago. In short points, here is my story:
Installed Freedom.apk (by-pass in-app purchases)
Updated to the latest firmware without removing apk
Could no longer connect to official Google servers (ie playstore, gmail) BUT internet worked
Went to LG for quote on fix, stated that I need to replace motherboard ($250)
Gave up for months until TODAY.
Disclaimers:
I did not develop any of these programs but merely stumbled upon them. I do hope that this solution works for you but I cannot guarantee anything.
Do these at your OWN risk. I cannot and will not be held liable for any further damages caused by following my steps.
My phone:
LG G3 D855K from Telstra August 2014.
(crappy) 2GB ram, 16GB storage model.

I'll give special thanks to these people; I did NOT receive any consult or speak to them but they have provided the tools in which I used to fix my LG G3 which would no longer connect to the Playstore and other important Google services. Many thanks to:

'How I did it':
1 - Download and install the LG USB drivers from [Link 1]
2 - Download and extract [Link 2]
3 - Download your relevant LG G3 Firmware from [Link 3]! Type in your IMEI code to find the exact software/firmware that you require.
4 - Copy the downloaded .kdz file (should be ~1GB) into the same folder as the [Link 2].

7 - https://www.dropbox.com/s/1f9rkqq32pxncgv/Steps_part3.PNG
7.5 - Please note that the language settings are not necessary. I've simply set it to English so I could read the messages/notifications.
8 - LG Software will pop-up again and let it do its own thing.
9 - An error message of Server couldn't be connected or something of the like will appear. Do NOT press exit.
10 - Look at your phone and you'll see that the firmware updating logo/downloading.
11 - Once your phone reaches 100%, the program on the computer may freeze and be required to be shut down. (This is okay once it's complete).
12 - Allow your phone to reboot, this may take 5-10 minutes.
13 - You'll get the applications being optimized.
14 - Just before you press start the phone may reboot, that's fine as well.
15 - Enjoy!
If you have any issues with the actual flash tool software, please check the 64-page thread AND use the search bar.

Unfortunately, I did not expect this to work for me so I do not have any video footage of me actually attempting this procedure.
If you have any other questions or queries please do leave a comment below. I am not an avid user of XDA but will try and respond when I can do so.
Worked? Thank me? (Sorry if I'm optimistic!)
The only thanks I would like to receive if this works is if you can download the firmware from [Link 3], keep a backup, and re-upload it somewhere to share with other users in need.
If you do decide to re-upload, please do keep the details of the firmware.
I hope that this solution does work for you.
And one final reminder that if you do copy what I did, you proceed to do so at your own risk.
Good luck.
I know this is a couple of months old but wanted to say thanks for posting this - had a G3 stuck on the firmware update screen, couldn't boot into download mode etc... Took a while searching and installing about 26 different flash tools but finally this method worked. Cheers!

And I know I'm pretty late to reply but I'm glad it helped you as well.
I did the same thing as you and took me a while of researching to find a solution. Albeit I've now jumped ships and no longer own the LG G3.
Good luck for the future

I discovered that this site (LG Mobile) is, in fact, not responding properly to the browser file request ... but the files are there.
I used Xtreme Download Manager to download it. Just manually input the desired file link ... and it'll do its magic!

Rooting the BV9000 Pro F

Hello everybody.
I have a problem. I had a bootloop on my Blackview BV9000 Pro F so I had to reset the phone. But I wanted to backup my data with some tools, so I have to root this phone, to get to the deleted contacts.
My problem now is, that I can not root the phone. There are several pages, they found a solution (in this forum too), but every link is a dead link or the images aren't compatible with my phone.
What did I do, till now:
I ask for the newest ROM by Blackview - they didn't give me an answer or even post my question to their forum (maybe, because they're in holiday???)
I did unlock the phone, but can not find the right version of twrp for my phone. (Links are dead or not the right version)
Download and started the SP Flash Tool
Understand a little bit, how the partitions on the phone are made.
What do I have:
Phone: Blackview BV9000 Pro F
Buildnumber: BV_BV9000PRO_F_V0.7_20190321
Adroid Version: 8.0.0
I want to undelete my data, as far as possible. So I need help to root it.
Thanks and have a nice day.
Greetings from germany,

Company closed, because of Corona Virus?
Does someone know, if they closed because of the Corona Virus?
I asked some questions and posted some messages on their forum … but nothing happens … I got no answer or can see any post of me.
Greetings
Kal
PS.: No, everything is OK - they posted something else on the website … I have to wait …
The new ROM is online …
Hello again … it is finaly online, the right ROM for this phone (http://bbs.blackview.hk/viewtopic.php?f=213&t=341480). Now I have a question on how to make TWRP "compatible" with this.
Or try it in this way:
What do I need for drivers and so on, to make a boot partition, to flash TWRP on my phone.
Can someone do it or explain, how to do it?
Greetings,
Kal
