Sprint Htc Touch Screen Protector - General Accessories

Does anyone know where I can buy screen protectors for the Sprint HTC Touch that cover all the screen from top to bottom like the original found in the box and does not need to be cut to fit? I called HTC and they don't sell them and I have looked at other sites and I am not sure if they are made to exactly fit

try this
http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=878
or this
http://www.boxwave.com/

The Boxwaves are great. I've been using them for years on Treos, and I just picked up the Clear Touch Crystal version for my Touch.
Be sure to choose the right one - there are slight differences between the Spint and GSM versions.

Boxwave
I ordered the 3 pack bundle but it did not say (as far as I could see)how many is in a pack. I assume from the post that these go from top to bottom (to the sprint logo). If anyone knows how many is in a pack please let me know. .

The screen protectors for the Nintendo DS fits perfect on the touch screen of the XV6900.
It's really easy to apply and I'm really happy with it. No need to order online, you can pick it up at Target for $4.99.

PPCTechs screen protectors - Anti-Glare or Crystal Clear????

Hi,
Hi Guys.... just got myself an M5000 after telling Orange that they either upgrade me for free or Im leaving them!
Im looking for a good screen protector and have read on the forum that these are quite good. I had a crappy one on my XDAII and am looking to get a good one for my Universal.
Which of the following two would you get and why?
Anti-Glare
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=127386&asource=119353
Crystal Clear
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=127395&asource=119353
On this site they go over the differences:
http://www.pocketpctechs.com/main~unit~O2_XDA_Exec-500~area~accessories-WriteSHIELD%99+AG.htm
I want to know if you guys have tried these and know how much screen brightness you lose with the anti-glare version.... and which would be better.
thanks
I read somewhere that the ClearGaurd XP was the best screen protector, they had images too. I don't remember the link though. Because of that I bought a ClearGaurd XP screen protector, it should be here in a few days. The cool thing about them is that they are re-usable and washable.....
I got mine on eBay for 9 bucks
I have used both, and it is truly hard to choose.
Right now I am using the crystal clear. I miss the pencil-on-paper feel of the antiglare, but I don't miss the matted colours of the display.
On the other hand *my* crystal clear looks like sh*t because I am a complete klutz when it comes to installing these things. If you can follow a set of simple instructions and manage to not drop it on the carpet while trying to install it, the crystal just looks great. When you install it like I did, it looks like crap because every single piece of dirt under the thing shows in the glare. The antiglare is much more forgiving for idiot installers.
then there is the time I was installing a cpu on a motherboard, but that's a whole different story

I had the anti-glare version of WriteShield on my previous phone SE P900i - it was aweful!
I now have a crystal clear one on my Exec and it is much better visibility. This time I didn't buy WriteShield because the only version available at the time was way over the top pricewise. I suggest you shop around - I got mine for about 14 squids. I think the name was something like Martin.

Screen protector info

Here's some info for screen protectors for the Excalibur/Dash... I found a really good one on EBay. The info on the package is the following:
BHB
Screen GUARD
The Greatest Guarder For LCD Screen
2.4"
Sony T1 Sony T11 Sony W1 Sony DV
50.5mm X 37.5mm
The following link will bring up the other auctions for the person that i bought it from (platinumaccessoriesstore):
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?satitle=HQ+SCREEN+PROTECTOR+Dash
I haven't found a regular store that sells them yet, but this protector is the best i've seen
Cool thanks. I was planning on getting one and didn't know which one on eBay to buy - and was thinking about just waiting until they're around in the stores... but now I can get this one right now.
im planning on buying a screen protector for my DASH, which hasn't arrived yet, and would like to verify if this is the correct size of the screen itself:
2.4"
Sony T1 Sony T11 Sony W1 Sony DV
50.5mm X 37.5mm

Well, the screen protector fits exactly the width/height of the screen, so I would guess it's correct
Thanks Merwin Actually there's no accessories for Dash here in my country so i'll have to buy one that's exactly the same dimension or a little bit larger and trim it.
Back when this was posted, I bought some -- it was the easiest-to-apply screen protector I've ever used, and yes, it's the perfect size. It's also stayed on for months now, I still have the spares -- very good find.

Yeah, I still have the same one on mine too I got worried when my son put his teeth into my phone at one point. Had a tiny scratch on the protector. I just left it alone and the mark on the protector even went away.
Hi there,
I always used the BoxWave screen protector in all my devices (some 4 PDAs/Phones and 1 iPod) and realy liked them very much.
They have very high rates in all reviews (thats how I got to them in first place) and they ship anywhere (due to the size of the package, barely larger than a regular envelope, it usualy goes fine to customs and other verifications).
For touch screen devices I recomend the Anti-glare (has a realy nice texture to write into) and for my Dash I am going to try the Crystal.

I chose this one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320050331056
It really is anti-scratch - its impossible to scratch it, but the downside is that since it is quite thick it makes the screen a little shimmery.
The Boxwaves are OK, but not as good as the ones originally posted about in this topic. The corners on the Boxwaves started coming loose and unsticking after a couple weeks. The ones Merwin found are still sticking after several months.

www.bestskinsever.com are quite frankly the best skins ever!.
I have been using screen protectors from http://www.expertshield.com on all of my phones for quite awhile now and have had no problems with them at all. They ship from Hong Kong and get to to US in less than a week. Just look at the Dopod C720w. Its the same as the dash.
i use a psp screen protector just size it myself works great ..cheep and easily availiable

A good screen protector and where to get one (XDA Orbit, UK)

This may be the wrong forum because my phone doesn't look like the icon for this board - if so, please could someone direct me towards the correct forum? My phone is an XDA Orbit.
Anyway, it came with a screen protector - which was a nice touch. The only problem is it's pretty poor (still better than nothing, mind). Can anyone suggest where, in the UK, to get a good one? I think I've used a Martin Fields one before and a Writeshield, but I can't remember how I liked either one since I don't remember which was which!
So, where can I get a good screen protector for an XDA Orbit in the UK?
I ordered mine over the net from Brando. It takes a while to arrive but the quality is good. I've got one each for my Charmer and Wizard, they ought to have one for your Orbit. It cost approx £7 (I think) including P&P.
Seach for the forum topic on screen protector and you'll get lovely recommendation from other members. There is another brand of srn pro that is heavily recommended by the members as well, not sure if you can get it in UK.
You can try eBay also if you want it fast. Just make sure you get the brand name right.
So Brando is an okay place for buying stuff in the UK then? Also, I suppose my main worry is that the XDA Orbit is the same screen dimensions the Artemis - I don't really understand, are they the same phone with a different shell? Is the Orbit a P3300?
The orbit is the HTC P3300 and you can also find screen protectors at gpsforless.co.uk

Well, I haven't really bought 1,000 stuff from Brando yet, but from my 2 experience with them, they are good in terms of speed (considering the process of it getting from HK to UK), packaging and quality of their product. I dont have an Orbit, but if you (and epmulligan) can confirmed that an Orbit is a P3300, then this ought to do the job . Dont worry about the picture showing you the Palm PPC. Check the words under the description on the compatible devices when ordering.
ANYWAY, chances are, if you were to buy a screen protector for a 240x320 device made by the same company, chances are, the size should be alright (e.g. chances are, the manufacturer will be using the same screen all over).
BTW, did you search the forum for other advises. There are some other brand which the members here also recommended. See if they have Orbit specific ones and probably UK delivery.
UPDATE: I had a look at the screen protector offered at gpsforless for Orbit, which is a 12 pack for £5.99. I've tried some similar 3 pack set from someone from ebay and the quality is REALLY different. Hence, I would advise you not to get it from there.
Thanks for the advice guys, very helpful.
If you don't mind waiting a few days for delivery from the USA the Boxwave Cleartouch Crystal is second to none. I used these on my XDA2i and now on my Orbit.

I got mine from this ebay seller dx_accessories
He sells the multi layer stuff and I can confirm it does work. Two main differences from the O2 supplied protector. 1, the top layer is much harder and much more resistant to scratch. It is also smooth (glossy finish) and the stylus glides over it with ease (not the case with the O2 protector). 2, the so-called 'gel' layer that adheres itself to the screen works brilliantly. It left zero air bubble with very small effort. I spent 15 mins getting dust and air bubble out of the O2, this I spent 1 min getting the screen squeaky clean and it sticks on to it perfectly. The size is also perfect, leaving no more than 0.3 mm to any side.
The only problem I have is the glossy finish, making the screen a bit more difficult to see under strong light. I own a Wizard and had a similar protector for similar price but with a matte finish like a normal LCD monitor.
It comes with a screen wipe which is handy. I won't complain for GBP4 all in.

Looked for him and it apears he has nothing at all on sale at all at the moment.
I remembered where I got my writeshield from - globalpositioningsystems.co.uk so I spoke to them on the phone, found the one for the Orbit and ordered it. I just figured I'd stick with what I know because I was satisfied with it before. The main reason I chose this was because the guy on the phone could guarantee me it would fit the device.
I bought mine at http://search.stores.ebay.es/DuraSe...sooZ1QQfsopZ1QQftsZ2QQsaselZ136025443QQsofpZ0
Very quick and impressive quality.
Regards
It turns out the person I spoke to at globalpositioningsystems.co.uk was wrong. The writeshield they told me to get is too big...

Help on Accessories

Just ordered my t-mobile Touch Pro2 and need help. I get it in the mail tomorrow and need to order screen protectors and a cradle as well as a few other things. is it the same size as the other touch pro2's out there? it looks like the bottom buttons may be a little different on the face ... The nice cradles I see on ebay I know are for the euro model but can it be used? thanks for any help.

[Q] How bad/good is the screen protector provided with case mate tough case.

Wondering if I should put a realook on order right now or just use the one provided? feedback please.
I ordered the Barely-There case, and since it's made by the same company I assume the SPs are the same.
I really, dislike mine. The screen protector was very hard to swipe without getting my finger stuck. It get's dirty, and smudgy. Plus, the SP is for the international Galaxy S, meaning they're unnecessary holes at the buttom.
I wouldn't recommend putting them on, because they're terrible.
Order the Realook now, because you will be much happier.

order it now! I have one on my vibrant, my son's ipod touch and my wife's iphone. The only flaw in my opinion is the fingerprints, but that can easily be fixed with a quick wipe from your shirt.
Go for the realook. You will not be disappointed.
Got my TC a few weeks ago, and was really looking forward to replacing the T-Mobile SP that I got for free the day I received the phone. I know what I had on it sucked, and like Sam V said, I was disappointed when the SP was not for the US market.
Instead I ordered the realook and I am frankly stunned by the improvement. Never having the opportunity to use it without a SP, I did not know what I was missing. So yeah, be like everyone else and get the TC and RL. Although I have never seen it posted here yet, I have been a lurker for sometime, buy a couple of two packs since there is a good chance of messing of the first try. If you have not done a SP before that is. I am glad I tried the 2nd one myself instead of going to the local T-Mobile looking like a noob ass, it went on fine.
