what is it? i have windows mobile 2003, do i need it is it useful? thanks in advance :?

1: It's named "Windows Mobile 5"
2: WM5 is not for all devices
3: It's like an update from Windows 2000 to XP, you may update if you like (and the device is upgradable!), but it's not necessary.

hello i just recently purchase the new htc fuze from at&t and i saw a video on youtube about how people have the new os for windows 6.5 i was wondering if anyone would be kind enough out there to assist me on obtaining this on my phone please and thank you

Windows Mobile 6.5?

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me will I be able to upgrade my TP2 to windows mobile 6.5 when it comes out? How do you go about doing this (new to winmob)? Is it just like installing a new OS on a PC?

OK ok so I finally found something. The answer seems to be yes with the TP2, a free upgrade from HTC to 6.5.

Howdy all was wondering are there any windows mobile 6.1 pro or maybe winmo 6.5 roms I can upgrade my wife's samsung with as winmo 6.1 standard sucks. Please help me maybe someone got a url which got roms for it. Thanking you in advance for your help.

GT-C6625 have 128m RAM..it ok

Upgrading WM 6 to 6.5

I have a mobile similar to - General Mobile DSTW1.
What would be the process and where could I find the software to upgrade from 6 to 6.5 on this mobile.

Hi and welcome to XDA, unless you can find a custom or official ROM for your device, 6.5 isn't gonna happen

Hi @Badwolve1 thanks for answering my query. Some months back someone did give a file Cynthia_6.5_Final which did upgrade my mobile from 6 to 6.5 but it has been a poor experience with battery draining, issues with Caller ID and a whole host of small bugs.
From the above file name if you could help me out and help me reinstall 6.5 on my mobile it would be really great!
I have seen lots of posts here showcasing 6.5 screens etc... wanting me to have the upgrade fast!

Other than General Mobile - the phone also looks similar to HKC G1000
