Howdy all was wondering are there any windows mobile 6.1 pro or maybe winmo 6.5 roms I can upgrade my wife's samsung with as winmo 6.1 standard sucks. Please help me maybe someone got a url which got roms for it. Thanking you in advance for your help.

Can anyone tell me will I be able to upgrade my TP2 to windows mobile 6.5 when it comes out? How do you go about doing this (new to winmob)? Is it just like installing a new OS on a PC?

OK ok so I finally found something. The answer seems to be yes with the TP2, a free upgrade from HTC to 6.5.

Hi and welcome to XDA, unless you can find a custom or official ROM for your device, 6.5 isn't gonna happen

Hi @Badwolve1 thanks for answering my query. Some months back someone did give a file Cynthia_6.5_Final which did upgrade my mobile from 6 to 6.5 but it has been a poor experience with battery draining, issues with Caller ID and a whole host of small bugs.
From the above file name if you could help me out and help me reinstall 6.5 on my mobile it would be really great!
I have seen lots of posts here showcasing 6.5 screens etc... wanting me to have the upgrade fast!

As you know the SHADY OEM Microsoft 6.5 Rom is available for htc artemis (there will be demand and need of winmo 6.5 apps for QVQA devices), please post all your winmo 6.5 rom collections apps/games/themes etc here.

Yes it's reliable I have been using it for more than 2 weeks. but it is a bit slow due to processor. also the issue of delay sounds/ringtones, but that has been solved with in this forum.

For unknown reason, it is much slower in internet connection when comparing with my old Samsung i780.
Microsoft market has no great software for WM standard. You can try facebook but it suffers problem of not able to refreshing the content after leaving the application.
VOIP has problem in the audio.
