I'd say no.
There's mention of (among others) the TyTN II and Touch getting upgrades, though
I doubt we'll ever see an official one, but leave it to the cooks to make some badass WM6.1 roms
It would really be cool if anyone can cook a new WM6.1 Rom

I'm surprised that ATT released WM6 ROM for the 8525 when the Tilt was being sold.
It is sad that ATT is not going to support the Hermes anymore.
Also does anyone know when 6.1 Pro is being release, so far its been the Standard version.

When the ROM becomes available, you won't have to search for it.
Some guys has the chance to test the beta release of WM6 with a HTC s620.

Should be released before July 07, I think T-MObile may hang off until they start selling the HTC S320/T-Mobile Dash with WM6 preloaded. But i could be wrong...we'll just have to wait a few months and see
I was in Dallas today at the Vista launch and actually saw and touched an HTC Excalibur running WM6 ... owned/demonstrated by the microsoft mobile specialist who also had the new Palm treo 750w

They wont release the ROM update until new devices start coming pre-loaded with WM6, that way they will be able to trick a few people into buying new devices

i think so far its only been released for smartphones, I having been looking into it and I cant find a definitive answer

there no official at&t tilt 6.1 upgrade. the one on the htc site is a 6.0 upgrade. there is a at&t tilt test rom though, closest thing to a shipped rom for the kaiser so far. build 19209
I think the 202 was a picture from beta versions given to the press...
I like the OS... its fast, Batt life is good, Text Msg,
The Windows Mobile 6.1 device emulator images released for developers seem to be build 19202, for what that's worth.

I am using 19209 WM6.1ROM,stable and faster. But it is in Chinese.

My guess is that they won't. Hermes has now had a successor model for some time, and most phone companies are replacing it. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have one, but I don't think they'll feel it's a great business decision to release one; this is similar to why they don't release all their HTC apps (HTC home etc) for older devices...gives you more reason to upgrade.

Yep, i know all that but it still would be nice.
As far as i know, till now there were only wvga wm6.5 presentations. This is the first official vga one.

It means either udk achieved official looking 6.5 well, or MS are using udks ROMs.
The general appearance, and the occasional quirk I've found in udks ROMs appeared in the video...
To the OP, thats a Fuze in the video. Top right hand corner says AT&T. Diamond not available for purchase on att.

Yep, noticed that even before i posted but it seems to me that fuze has more rounded corners. (Maybe a Diamond witn wm6.5 on at&t like sprint diamond that jus came out ).
Every spec I look at for the T-Mobile TP2 it says it will have WM6.5 when it drops is that true? I looked at the spec for the other carriers for TP2 and they all say 6.1.
Just need someone who knows these things well to confirm because I read WM6.5 doesn't drop until this fall to around christmas time.

Most likely you will have to Buy the OS at additional cost.
The good old Orange day's where they did know what service was are over and done since T-Moblie acquired Orange.
But with a HardSPL (hopefully soon) who cares, just flash any ROM you like.
Why do I have to buy the OS if it comes with it?
It will launch (Aug 12th) with 6.1, but once MS releases 6.5 you will be able to upgrade to 6.5. What is unknown is whether T-mo will provide that update or if we are going to have to get the update from HTC. I highly doubt we will have to pay for it either. Kinda like when tmo provided an update to win mo 6.1. it was free.
T-Mobile Netherlands will provide the WM6.5 upgrade for free. It says so in my contract and manual. Too bad T-Mo is always way behind when HTC provides upgrades. On the other hand... i'm not welcoming 6.5 with open arms. I rather have a speedy 6.1 ROM for my Rhodium. 6.5 or HardSPL... i go for the latter.

Is their a release date for the official WM6.5? I saw a video on WM 6.5 where the guy said it will be released around Christmas time.
The guy was doing a demo on what looks like the final version of WM6.5 with the HTC Diamond 2 I think it was. Anyone seen that video? (He had his legs crossed through out the whole video with blue jeans.) Lol

Just wondering, anyone know if HTC are planning on official updates for the TP2 to WiMo 6.5 (and maybe an updated version of manilla??)
Not a problem if the only version is a cooked ROM, happy enough to flash once the "final" build of 6.5 hits the Kitchens.

Can we expect to see WM 6.5 versions of Tmo, Sprint, and Verizon, or will they always come with 6.1 initially leaving the upgrade to the consumer?
Im really looking forward for the final 6.5... wanna see manila 2.5 from htc too.
