If you want to install the HTC Home plugin, but have Windows Mobile 5, you can download V1.5 from here: http://rapidshare.com/files/78660237/htchomewm56tab.zip. It will only work on WM5 devices. Make sure to perform a soft reset after installing it. I tried it on my HTC Titan and it worked fine

ERROR 270 image file is corrupted
Dear seniors please give me the instruction to upgrade my p3400 wm5 to wm6.1 because i run the gene_wm6.1 ruu but it will show error 270 image file is corrupted please check your upgrade utility..after 2% succefull complete,(cid unlocked already done,splash1 splash2 also copied to windows & installed the mda3_boot image).. please help me please please please.........

I was trying to upgrade my P3400 to 6.1 but I have a few problems
-the device doesn't start now...
but it does start when I press & hold camera and start it ... a screen with 3colors(red,green,blue) and every time I run the romUPDATEutility I get all kind of errors mainly I get [ERROR [300]: INVALID UPDATE TOOL]
I don't know much about wb system
but any one can help me with this problem

I have a HTC P3600 running Windows mobile 5, can i upgrade TO windows 6 or 6.1, on the HTC website they have a ROM upgrade which i thought was what i wanted, when i upgraded i am still left with windows mobile 5, what was the point of that from HTC, appreciate any help.

hi with a quick search I found the original wm6 rom the P3300. --> link
you just run the .exe and follow the steps after connecting the device through active sync.
the device will automatically restart and will end the installation alone.
But remember,yuo must remove the microSD and SIM.
after you reboot automatically and ask you to hit the screen and other details and you're done.
