Hi all,
What is the "safe zone" of temperature in the artemis?
I have overclocked my device using battery status, and now have a temp gauge, and am wondering what is the the ideal running temperature bracket??
Thanks
Alex
Haha, I have never seen my telephone run before..
However I believe the phone is rated for these operating temperatures:
Operating Temperature: 0°C to 40°C
Operating Rel Humidty: 10% to 90% Noncondensing
Storage Temperature: -20°C to 60°C
careful, the temp gauge from bat stats reads only the temp of the battery (as far as i know) and not of the cpu!

Has anyone had this problem, er... fortune? My BA seems to actually increase its battery life when I leave on idle. I have it underclocked to -20% when idle and overclocked to +33% (Full overclock) when cpu load is over 50%. So while in use the battery drains very quickly, but when it is left on idle or when I suspend all programs on my phone I actually gain battery life of about 4-8% per hour. Is this a normal thing?
I've never had that happen to me, it sounds like a dodgy battery metre. But I’m not sure. Very strange.
My BA behaves in a similar-but-different manner: when charging, the battery shows a decreasing charge... and when it reaches 0, jumps back to whatever the real charge is. So I'm guessing a faulty battery meter as well.
My battery temperature rises to almost 45.c+ after a few minutes of HD gaming on my Stock HTC WFS Rooted, Is this normal or theres something wrong with my battery.

the phone has to heat up especially when you play games that use a lot of cpu and gpu...
but idk is it normal to heat it to 45 and more... i think that 50 degrees is a MAX that may happen, and that reffers to battery heat? I mean its just going to shorten life of battery, extremely ... and about processor i think u dont have to worry... it can stand some heat ... i have read that temps went over 70,80 celsius on the phone, and they were still running fine. Of course its not recommended, as you can guess
I don't think that it will be a problem. I have my phone running that hot for four months already when charging, and when not plugged in it also easily reaches 40c. When I dial *#*#4636#*#* my battery health is still good. Also note that on the back of the battery it says that the max operating temperature is 60c.

Never looked at the back of the battery that closely, that clears my doubts.
Hello!
I've been keeping an eye on my battery's activity with Battery Monitor Widget just like I do with all devices, and after some months of using the HOX I am concerned about the following: I have noticed the battery shows 4218 mV when fully charged, which seems to be an ok value. However, I sometimes find it showing 86%, but already 4214 mV. The current also drops when it's over 80%, from the usual 600-700 mA, gradually to 200, then 100 and even less. I know this is normal when the battery gets full, but I am worried I have a damaged battery that only takes about 88% capacity. Has anyone else noticed this?
Thanks!
IMO battery monitor widget and most other such battery voltage/amperage monitoring apps are not accurate on the One X. I have got few unrealistic values with those tools especially when charging. Voltage should be 3700mV+ when fully charged, not 1218mV.
I'm sorry, I must have been thinking about something else. The values are 4218 when full and 4214 mV at 86%. I have modified the post now. I have also noticed the current when discharging is not quite accurate (it shows less when playing music then when doing nothing at all), so you think I shouldn't be worried about the battery?

Yes, I have also noticed similar discrepancies, for example I sometimes get a higher positive mA rating when connected to USB port compared to the wall adapter (which is clearly wrong). Therefore I don't know if any of those readings are really accurate or not.
Did some testing of my Note 7 using the apps CPU TEMP and CPU-Z and running ANTUTU and found that under load my cpu temps spiked @ 80c, but battery temp was 31c, also tested unit while charging. battery never went over 28c yet the unit jumped up to 62c removed charger and the unit cooled down to 30c very quickly. I thought this odd as one would have expected the battery to heat up on charging not the CPU's
Cpu will heat if you bench it if thats. What you mean
I know that thus why i did the test, but 80c is extremely high, I did the same tests using same apps on my S7 Edge and it never went over 33c.. my posting was more about the CPUS's heating up and NOT the battery
Mine was at 82c when i ran benchmarks
Mine Battery temp always stays 29c to 34c (while charging).
CPU temp < 42c
I've seen mine get as hot as 90/79ºc for CPU/battery temps. Its a safe to say that I plug my phone in the corner of my room now. Not even kidding.
(Using stock charger btw)
My cpu temp was 52c max when testing and battery was 34c
Sent from my SM-N930F using XDA-Developers mobile app
3 days ago I have the Nokia 6.1
I realized that when using the charger the mobile temperature increases to 47 degrees, my solution was to use a normal usb charger instead of the original, but i read on the internet that the normal temperature of the li-po battery is 0c - 40c
and my phone in normal use have 34c - 39c with/without normal usb charger.
i made tests playing and the CPU reached temperatures of up to 69c and the battery does not exceed 39c
Then is it dangerous? i'm worried about the temperature of the battery, especially because the ambient temperature where I live is 30c, and my old moto e (2014) never had more than 30c in the battery.
Something wrong with my Nokia? How can i lower the battery temperature?
Sorry for the mistakes, i rarely make a post
