Dear Memebers,
Does anybody know about good freeware to convert office docs in PDF on my HTC 100 with WM 6 professional?
Does anybody know about freeware for mobile printing using: bluetooth, WiFi, IR (like HP mobil printing SKD)
Would appreciate any information about links to those exe. or CAB. files.
Thank you!
Kind regards
Just happened to see your question...
If you can send an email attachment to [email protected], they will send back an email with the converted pdf attached. Supports .doc, .docx, .xls, .pub, .rtf.
They also have an online site that will convert a file and email it to you...
More info is available at their site - http://www.pdfonline.com
Hope this helps, --TonyK.

I feel before I start that this is a daft question but here goes.
Where I work they have a requirement to take a notes database with them on the road and are wondering if they can run Lotus Notes on a XDA Pro / Qtek 9000. I for one dont think it will work specially as the database they want to access is 1Gb or there abouts.
But thought I'd ask you guys anyway as you all seem so clever ;o)

Hi,
Sybase makes a tool for PPC which is Lotus Notes portable. It has a mail file, and the ability to send, receive and file mail. It is not free, and I am still looking for a free option.
Microsofts Outlook 2003 Lotus Notes adaptor is useless because it doesn't work for me.
Try the sybase Lotus notes program.
Cheers.
The answer: mnotes and mform
Hi,
Check out mNotes and mForm from Commontimes. I use mnotes for a long time, and it is the most stable replicator for Notes mail db-s. You can replicate other databases as well, check out their website. Their customer support is excellent, and they support the latest Notes versions.
I hope you find this useful !

if you have office 2003 on your PC install on your PC computability pack for office 2007 you can download it at MS site (office upgrades)
(or install office 2007 on your PC)
this will solve your problem

If that doesn't do the trick, try Tools > Conversion Settings on ActiveSync.
You may want to make sure that your Excel files are or are not converted on their way through.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend using Pocket Word/Word Mobile or Pocket Excel/Excel Mobile at all, even for reading files, as they don't read most content from most common files - which means that their main potential usefulness was destroyed by MS before it was ever issued. And has remained so. Softmaker Office 2006 reads and writes Excel and Word files in their original form and I use it heavily.
You can get the Textmaker (Word) and Planmaker (Excel) seperately if you want to.
No I'm not promoting either, just recommending.
Hey everyone, I am running an XDA IIs at the moment, and have alot of pdf's that I would like to read on my one hour bus ride into the city, I have tried the latest adobe reader but it is slow and not very "reading" friendly. Does anyone have any suggestions, I have tried converting the pdf is .doc format but that is a no go as well because I could never find a coverter that actually worked. I did a little search on this forum but no definitive results. Thanks alot
On my device, ClearVue PDF is preinstalled. But there is also a good freeware alternative (PocketXpdf).
Hey there Alegra, thanks for the tip, will give it a try... will also see if I can purchase ClearVue for a try.
i often convert dpf's to Lit to use the ms ebook reader which is free and let one set bookmarks which is importent if i read whole novels
That might be a good idea, I do like the .lit format, will have a look at that too
Did you tried XPDF?
http://www.foolabs.com/xpdf/
Freeware and work's great.

If it is preinstalled, you don't need to buy it. If not, there are enough freeware alternatives.
You can also look for the thread "iPhone style browser" here in the forum. That's Picsel Browser, also a very good web browser / Office / PDF viewer.
EDIT: XPDF is a PDF viewer for computer (I couldn't find a Windows Mobile version on their page). There is a port for Pocket PC (PocketXpdf) which I already mentioned.
Anyone come up with a way to do this? I've tried various CABs from this forum to map Fn+T to Tab, but they just insert a few spaces after the bullet. I'd like to be able to create multi-level lists. I know they're supported because they can be viewed when synced from the desktop, but does anyone know a way to create them in PowerPoint or OneNote Mobile?
Thanks
If it matters, I have the Verizon TP2 in the US.
