[Q] no new sd card?

I just upgraded from my evo and bought the Note2.I love the phone. However they took my sd card out of my evo and used it in note 2. I kinda annoyed by this being evo sd card is only 16gb which is plenty. But I feel after spending 300 bucks for a phone with an upgrade I should of received a new sd card. Any reasons why I did not?
Some companies provide them some don't its that simple. Besides that you can pick up a 16/32/64gb microsd sdhc/sdxc on amazon anywhere from $15-50.

Ever since phones started including 16+ gb of internal storage they haven't been including cards. I'd rather have more internal storage and buy my own card than get a cheap 8gb sd card and not get any more internal storage. The evo lte didn't include a micro sd either. You're paying $300 cuz of the wacom digitizer internal storage quad core exynos and big screen. I'd rather have that than feel all warm and fuzzy cuz they included an sd card I can buy for $12.

You didn't get a new sd csrd because the note 2 doesn't come with one. Its as simple as that. If you read the whats in the box tag on the packaging you would know this. All that's included is: device, battery cover, 3100mah battery, SPen, headphones and different sized earbuds, usb> micro usb cable and 5v 2a wall wart.
I like to break stuff!

Cases With Access To MicroSD

Hi I recently purchased a Diztronic case but I'm finding it a bit annoying having to take the case off to get to the Micro SD tray I know I can use the USB C cable for file transfers but having compared speeds using a USB 3 card reader my overall transfer time reduced by 2.5 hours! So I would like to know if there's any good cases out there that has a cut out or flap for easy Micro SD access?
im just curious what are you transferring that takes over 2.5 hours?
When I do a full format and I throw my pictures and videos back onto my phone, over 6gb of data is moved with 2000+ files and it only takes about 10 minutes at most. I also have game emulators that together have over 10,000 files 7gb approximate size and that takes about 10 minutes also to move all those files.
Now the display on the pc will say 1 hour or something remaining but that's completely wrong if that's what your going off on your time (2.5 hours) and it'll be much, much shorter than that.
On my pc I use a A-C cable that USB-C 3.1 to USB 3.0 claims speeds up to 5gb/s on devices and my card is 128gb Samsung with 90mb write 95mb read.
I have not seen any cases that have access to the sd card unless you get a flip style one that's easy to take off or don't not attach to that area of the phone. I guess a cheap tpu case would work if you cut out the side.

SanDisk Ultra USB Type-C Drive

Because we do not have external SD Card slots :
1 for my Pixel XL
And
1 for my Pixel 2 XL
Also
USB A to Type C female
Sandisk : $13.99 @ Amazon
Adapters : (2) $6.19 @ Amazon
Good to see... thanks
Interested in what the data transfer rate is. I have tried using the included adapter with a 128GB SanDisk flash drive and the transfer rate was mediocre and battery usage was extremely high
Not bad. I'm all in with the cloud storage and streaming now though. Makes it especially easy for me since I still have unlimited data and unlimited full quality Google Photos backup.

This will save a little money, more capacity, smaller physical size than two parts, nothing extra to loose, transfer speed normal.
Wrong link, sorry. The one I had ordered is not longer available and more money other places.

Yes, sorry. I edited my post above. The one I have was apparently discontinued and I do not find it online now, but looks like that with USB-C and mini-USB.
I use this one with my 2 xl:

Lindy 5A/10GBPS/USB 3.1 Gen 2 (3.2 Gen 1) Cable availability

OK so I didn't receive the OEM cable / charger when I purchased the phone.
Besides that however it would be nice to get the "proper" cables to maximize the
6A (30W) charging
and
USB 3.1 Gen 2 throughput (10 gbps)
The other threads are expired and seem to either match one or the other.
Although quite pricey this cable apparently performs a 5A + (100w) + USB 3.2 (3.1 Gen2) speeds!
https://www.lindy.co.uk/cables-adap...b-3-1-type-c-to-a-cable-5a-anthra-line-p11704
In fact if you search this companies database they have a few options I haven't seen with a different brands.
Of course this TITACUTE (seriously that's a name haha).... does 6A @ 5V for max WARP charging. (apparently)
https://www.amazon.com/TITACUTE-One...b+c+6a+cable&qid=1566255921&s=wireless&sr=1-3
1) Does anyone know if the Titacute charger can perform at full speed with the aftermarket charger they sell with the same ratings.
2) Is there any cable that can actually do the 6A + 10\gbps speeds. For the ultimate cable for our devices.
ohh I am only looking for A-C not C-C (problem is that is outside of certified ratings such that it isn't really available yet.
3) With the advent of 3.2 20 gbps last year and the present computer lineup is debuting these features. Are there any 3.2 Gen 2 + cables anywhere yet. (the 20 gbps rated ones. btw)
Thanks will be given to all that help this research endeavor.
Ohh and thank me if this is helpful. My rating sucks. Thanks

I have a Rexin charger that I got from amazon for ~$22 that Warp charges.
looking for a cable support warp charge is not hard
but a cable support both warp charge and 10 Gbps is hard
i just ordered this https://www.cablematters.com/pc-890...-c-to-usb-a-gen-2-10-gbps-cable-33-ft-1m.aspx to test the 10 Gbps, but this cable only support 15W
and the Lindy brand you posted i didnt see it in the USB IF certificate page
Lord AJ said:
This cable from Titacute worked great for me. It's 6-ft long, and data-transfer and warp charging works perfectly!
However, I used it with the original charger after I lost my cable. Cannot really say how well it will work with an aftermarket charger without knowing the specifications of the charger itself. That being said, if the charger you buy has the same specs as the one by OnePlus, then the cable should serve you well.
Hope this helps.

Can you confirm 10 Gbps or 3.1 gen 2 or 3.2 gen 1 support. Or 100 MB/s approximately..
I imagine you got full 30 watt charging at only 5gps 50 mb/s can you prove this wrong. Thanks.
5Gbps (USB 3.1 gen 1) transfers at about 450 MB/s not 50 MB/s.

Your totally right I should have added 0's there so 500 and 100 MB/s
https://www.cablematters.com/pc-890...-c-to-usb-a-gen-2-10-gbps-cable-33-ft-1m.aspx
because the copy speed didnt show so i dont know the speed
i copy same file from my phone to my Surface Pro 5, file size 2GB, from phone -> SP took 25s, from SP -> phone took 15s, so basically 90MB/s ~ 130 MB/s
but when i use this cable with my SSD with my SP, the speed reach ~300MB/s
so.... i dont know, apparently 7P only support 5Gb/s, on theory lol
maybe i need to test with another computer
