Just tap to Launch Music Player

Is it possible to minimise it so it runs in the area where "Launch Music Player" is?
I see the track information there when I close the player but only for a few seconds.
Thanks.

Sorry, figured it out. I just have to go Start > Today.

Windows Media Player on Today screen

Is there anyway to get the wmp on the today screen like the tilt does with wm6 ? I dont understand why it doesnt already
Assuming you have HTC Home, HTC Music Plug-in installed, then it is just a matter of selecting the Music Plug-in at the Today setting. The Music plug-in option let you decide which Music player you want to use.

My suggestion is to use HTC Home Plugin Customizer v0.8b. It makes tweaking your settings very easy, including the default media player. The thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319308

[Q] Play All Songs in Media Player

I have a situation that i was able to play all songs from the beginning but after i added a new song, and got a album art for it,my music player can't play all songs anymore. It only can play 1 song in 1 album at a time. The next/skip button won't bring other songs for me.It means when i press next/skip button,it won't change to other song from other album which it could change before i updated the new song, but now it remains the same song like it has no connection with other songs.I tried to find the setting and pressed play all option, but it came out the same. Please teach me how i can make the music player able to play all songs again? Thanks a lot.
How do you guys play all songs in your media player? Thanks.
Open music and press my phone at the top hit albums and pick songs from the list then finally hit menu and play all.

They should be on your sd somewhere, just move them into a folder called music on the root on your sd.

Hi,
is there any chance to make the MediaLink HD working with other android devices different to HTC.
On my Vista-PC I can see the WiFi-Network of the MediaLink but I can't log in (don't know the Password). The default should be 1234567890 or 1234567890HTC but both are not working.
Thanks

The password you can find using an HTC phone. On my One X it was under the Media Link settings. I don't know how to get it from a non-HTC phone, but maybe try to invite someone with an HTC phone over to your place once, it might solve the problem lol.
Thanks

M9 lockscreen music controls

Hi everyone,
When music is playing I don't any music controls on the lockscreen, unlike in my m7.
I searched online and in the settings and didn't find anything specific.
Anyone have any idea?
Thanks in advance.

Hello there, try using a music player like a jet audio player (plus) or poweramp and enable it within that apps settings. I find that works. hope it fixes your issue.
Thank you, but I was wondering about HTC's music player.
Did they remove it on sense 7?

Never was able to get lock screen controls on stock sense 7 with that music player, always had to download a separate music player app for that. I also rooted and installed a custom rom to enable volume music controls which allow you to change the track when the screen is off. (leedroid rom)
