"Been around the world and I I I ....I can't find my baby..." Sorry. Been searching for weeks to no avail for either an HTC Home Plugin/theme for the TMO Shadow/Juno. I realize that the NEO was made just for Tmo, however I want that awesome Grey HTC Home screen/plugin that is coming on the unlocked version of the HTC's these days. Anyone have any ideas?

Got two Eris phones about three weeks ago.
I love it, but am getting borred with it.
I can swap the phone in for a different one up until Jan./15'th. It doesn'tlook like the Eris is going to get rooted, so I was wondering if I should switch to the Moto Droid since it can be rooted? Any one switched from the Eris, and if so, Is there anything that you miss about it?
Also, I still have my last phone, which is an Alltel HTC Touch. The original version of the first Touch, Not the Touch Pro. Can this phone be Rooted/Hacked or modified?
Sorry if these questions have already been asked, but I didn't have much luck with the search function. Thanx in advance for helping a noob.
Can the HTC Touch not be rooted/hacked?
Is this not the proper section to ask this in, or does no one else know the answer to this. Either???????

Ok, I have never been more tempted to throw a phone in all my life. This has me VERY irritated.
I got this htc one x on a hunch, was a good deal, seen great roms on here, thought it was a good idea. I've had nothing but trouble. Heres my deal:
I went to the htcdev site to get the boot loader unlocked. Im no dummy, I've gotten into LOTS of phones. This thing is crazy. I've watched 20 videos, used 3 different computers, NOTHING works. ALWAYS says Error Code: Invalid Bootloader Token Length.
Error Reason: The submitted Token appears to be the wrong length and won't work.
Now this isn't my first rodeo, I read, searched, paused videos made sure I was getting the same info selected, spaces, EVERYTHING that were showing between my screen and the youtube screens. This phone has taken the latest att update. Is this the problem? Has getting into the phone been cut out? Is there another way to get in and load roms? Should I ditch it for a galaxy?
You should be in the att one x forum, this section is for the international one x endeavoru. Search for att Rogers one x Evita

You have the the AT&T Branded HTC One X (Dual Core) ?
I do have the att branded one. I've seen posts about it under these forums. I knew there was different versions, didn't know I was in the wrong place....

Good Morning Guys this is my first post here and also my reason for being in here.
I bought a HTC One m7 a year ago from Dubai with Verizon. but that's not a problem. I see in other HTCs that Purple camera problem is not so much in Android 4.2.2 but once they upgrade it to 4.4.2 or whatever, even place is not so dark screen turns pink. Now, my question is not about how to get rid of it because i love camera in 4.2.2 even it's just 4 mp. I'm just asking if there is anyone who runs custom or official Android 4.4.4 or if it arrived Android 5.0, on rooted or non-rooted HTC One m7, does problem still exists or not? i want upgrade my phone but still waiting because of camera problem. Waiting for your answers.
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

Good luck
The camera issue you are talking about is hardware and HTC knows this. Only way to truly remove it is to replace the camera chip in the phone.
Good Morning everyone. So I go to pay my Sprint bill, then they tell me I can take home a Galaxy Tab 3 home for free, so I did. My question is, I want to root it, but I'm not sure which one I have. How do I find this out. I've seen the forums for different versions and I'm just trying to figure out which one it is. Thanks for any help.
Has anyone figured out a way to unlock the bootloader on a verizon model htc one m9. I just got my phone about 3 days ago and am kind of regretting upgrading from my m8. My only issue is the battery life, other than that I love the phone. but before when my m8 would last 2 days no problem know I'm luck to get a day out of my m9 any help would be appreciated.

For Verizon, you have to find someone with a java card and s-off.

As for battery...yeah, you're simply not going to get the same kind of life as you got from the M8. I upgraded from the M8 as well, so I know what you're talking about. Some people in the screen on and battery thread are reporting decent results, but definitely nothing like we got on the m8. I'm not sure rooting is going to make enough of a difference (if any) to justify the headache of finding someone with a java card.
Other than battery, though, I have zero complaints.

The M9 is definitely a great phone - give it some time and I think you'll find yourself very satisfied.
There is a dedicated forum for the Verizon variant of the HTC One M9. The short answer to your question about the bootloader is that currently the only way to unlock it is through a JAVA card, which you can either purchase yourself or find an XDA user to send your phone to in order to do the work for you.
