english rom for dopod 900?

anyone has an english rom for dopod 900?
what can be the problems if i change the language rom, chinese to english? software incompatibility?

Hi,
I bought a Dopod 900 with a chinese ROM and flashed it with the JasJar ROM available on this site.
I did not experience any problems. The dopod bluetooth headset that came w ith my Dopod works fine and I also manage to use the voice commander through the headset to do voice dialing.
Actually the voice works with anything. I made a command for "calculator" to start up the calculator.
I've downloaded the game "Bejeweled 2" and it works fine.
I've experimented with the VGA hack, that works, but I get eye strain.
I've been talking to Dopod Singapore (www.dopodasia.com) about getting an english Dopod ROM from them but am still waiting for a response.
While the JasJar ROM works fine, I want to see what the other ROMs can do.
I havent tried the O2 Exec rom because I do not know how to use the NoID installer with the O2 installer.
With the JasJar ROM, the files were seperate from the executable, if anyone can point me to the O2 Exec ROM files which ARE usable with the NoID installer, please paste the URL here and I'll try that.

but i am still contemplating which might be a better rom

i ve been hesitant to buy the dopod coz all the dealers here in taiwan says there will be some software compatibilty and that they wont be giving me any warranty for the same.
but after coming to this forum, i see thr r ppl like u who have succefully flashed the rom!
but i am a lilttle sckeptical of changing the rom myself. as i am scared something might go wrong(as it is not a cheap toy). i am a total newbie and i dont read chinese at all.
so i will be very grateful if you or anyone can give me a step by step procedure of flashing the rom

ı bought a dopot which in chinese and than upgrade it to english but ı used meupgrade no id.. but its work greatknow and no proplem.

Latest Qtek ROM in English?

Does anybody know how to get the latest Qtek 9000 rom in english. I really tried everything to get it here in Germany. But no chance at all...
Isn't here anybody who can get it? The one on the ftp Server I have already installed.
But I know for sure that there is a newer one, beacuse when I bought the phone here in Germany there were newer versions installed, but in german unfortunately..

bleu angel with an ger rom, possible to set a uk rom?

got from a friend of mine a bleu angel with a german rom. i tried everything to put it over on a uk rom, but everytime i get an error 120. incorrect country id. is there someone of you guys who can give me a hand. i don't like to work with it in german. all help is very good.

Hi, yesterday i flash my t-mobile mda3 which was also in german with an english wm5 i-mate rom i downloaded from the download section on www.buzzden.net site. hope this helps.

well i deblocked a mda vario with lockowiz. went succesfully. but the bleu angel doesn't really go. someone can help?

What does mean "doesn't really go"?

Help!!ERROR 150: Rom Upgrade Utility Error after wan to downgrade O2IIS to WM2003SE

Hello, i hope somebody kindly help me for this problem.
I was upgrade my XDA IIS to WM5.0 few days ago. After that found out this software is not suitable for my IIs.
Then i trying to downgrade to ORIGINAL ASIA WM2003SE ROM. That was a Error come out and cannot downgrade it.
The error is <ERROR 150: ROM UPGRADE UTILITY ERROR>. I trying many thing also cannot solve this problem. Even i using BA_WM5_Downgrade_pack also cannot. And i cannot find any thread to solve this thing in XDA-DEVELOPERS too.
Anybody can teach me how to downgrade my XDA IIS to Original WM2003SE ROM pleasE?

Im goona to upgrade my xdaIIs to WM5 or WM6. Realy its not comfort in the rom of WM5 to xdaIIs. Too bad, but current rom not working properly thats why Im going to make it WM5.

if anything like my 2s then getting it to format the WM5/6 is the main problem, after that, getting 2003 back on is a breeze.
done it once but now it wont format

WM6 For HTC S630 (Cavalier)

Anybody know of or have a version of WM6 for this smartphone. I have a production version of the phone and it runs WM5, apparently before it was annouced it was going to run WM6. If anybody has this, or knows the status of this rom, any information would be helpful, thank you.
PS: I also vote for a Cavalier Forum

Does anyone have the latest HTC S630 ROM for the US? I want to flash the DOPOD C730 with the HTC version of the ROM. I do not like the font text displayers.
