Does anybody know how to get the latest Qtek 9000 rom in english. I really tried everything to get it here in Germany. But no chance at all...
Isn't here anybody who can get it? The one on the ftp Server I have already installed.
But I know for sure that there is a newer one, beacuse when I bought the phone here in Germany there were newer versions installed, but in german unfortunately..

Hi,
I bought a Dopod 900 with a chinese ROM and flashed it with the JasJar ROM available on this site.
I did not experience any problems. The dopod bluetooth headset that came w ith my Dopod works fine and I also manage to use the voice commander through the headset to do voice dialing.
Actually the voice works with anything. I made a command for "calculator" to start up the calculator.
I've downloaded the game "Bejeweled 2" and it works fine.
I've experimented with the VGA hack, that works, but I get eye strain.
I've been talking to Dopod Singapore (www.dopodasia.com) about getting an english Dopod ROM from them but am still waiting for a response.
While the JasJar ROM works fine, I want to see what the other ROMs can do.
I havent tried the O2 Exec rom because I do not know how to use the NoID installer with the O2 installer.
With the JasJar ROM, the files were seperate from the executable, if anyone can point me to the O2 Exec ROM files which ARE usable with the NoID installer, please paste the URL here and I'll try that.

i ve been hesitant to buy the dopod coz all the dealers here in taiwan says there will be some software compatibilty and that they wont be giving me any warranty for the same.
but after coming to this forum, i see thr r ppl like u who have succefully flashed the rom!
but i am a lilttle sckeptical of changing the rom myself. as i am scared something might go wrong(as it is not a cheap toy). i am a total newbie and i dont read chinese at all.
so i will be very grateful if you or anyone can give me a step by step procedure of flashing the rom

ı bought a dopot which in chinese and than upgrade it to english but ı used meupgrade no id.. but its work greatknow and no proplem.
Hey everyone. Was just wondering if there's a way to get a localised French ROM running on a JasJar? I tried downloading the updated M5000 Orange ROM to attempt an extraction of what I think would be French .cab files in the extended ROM, but i'm really unsure of how to go about this...

Once again, a simple plea for some assistance. Anyone know how to get French on a JasJar? I have no problem loading foreign ROMs so long as the device remains unlocked and doesnt run into any ROM specific issues here in Dubai. thanks again!!!

But i cant find it with english WM05. Some guys in the store try to flash a english rom on it but it doesnt work. And with russian WM05 i dont want buy it.
Is there a way to flash a german or english Rom on the PDA?

Normaly, you can download updates on the myqtek site after entering the imei number, but it's PDA only and it has no imei. So anybody know how to download updates? (any way to add a G100 to "My Devices"?) Then i could download a rom for you.
Thanks for the answer. The problem is that myqtek doesnt accept the russian IMEI. I need really a IMEI from a english G100. Can somebody help?

A IMEI or Firmware from the i-mate PDA-N will work to. Can nobody help?
I think the PDA is locked for other roms, like the Phones too

Hi, I'm looking for the newest GER Rom for my Universal. At the moment I usw 1.20.34 GER with Radio 1.06. Has someone a download link for the newest GER Rom for me? Jwrightmcps 1.31.79 is only avaible in WWE at the moment But I still kepp the hope heÄll release a GER one

i´ve read much about updating ROM on my universal within the last few weeks...
i figured out - for me personally - the qtek ROM (1.3x.xx) is the one i want.
do you know if its possible to flash a t-mobile branded one with a qtek ROM or will i get into deep trouble?!

I did it. But its a litte hard: I downloaded this app: http://buzzdev.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=65&Itemid=1 runned it on all 3 free files from the latest T-Mobile update, wrote down the Tags (Language etc) and afterwards I entered those informations into the Qtek update. So the update "beliefes" to be for a MDA pro...
I did it too I downloaded the last German version for Qtek 9000 (1.30.96) and installed it with the MaUpgradeUt_noID utility. I use the new version since 5 days now and it´s a lot more stable now and some extra features with it. I only updated the ROM and the Radio Version, not the extended Rom.

the o2 xda stealth is very fast
don't think there is wm6 for stealth. I have the rom update from dec 2006 which improves keypad if ppl. are interested. Have to upload somewhere...
i have a chinese rom in my stealth can i change it to english through the said rom update? if yes, where can i download it? thanks in advance
ROM update
If you register on the o2 site (www.seeo2.com), and just pick australia, you can download the official ROM for free.
The ROM is of 2006-12-08 and has some improvements for the eZiText.
btw. It is a WM5 ROM, I don't think O2 will bring out a WM6 ROM, but maybe you can contact them?
O2 Upgrade
I understand that O2 is no longer providing services and is now being done intermittently by MWG. Am i correct? Does anyone know anything about this?
