I've unsuccessfully upgraded my hx2410 from WM3SE to WM6. The upgrading process got stuck at WM5 ver 1.00.00.H. Now I want to downgrade to WM3SE. As someone wrote: "the only way to downgrade from WM5 to WM3SE is using the file WWE-hx2000-PC03_downgrade.exe that comes with WM5 CD". I have't got the CD. So, anyone who has WWE-hx2000_PPC03_downgrade.exe, please share for me.

but if it came with wm5 wm3se was prob never made for it
in which case the work to make a wm3se rom for it will
require more manhours then any pda is likely to be worth
if it came with wm3se then downgrading usualy works just like upgrading

Hello, i hope somebody kindly help me for this problem.
I was upgrade my XDA IIS to WM5.0 few days ago. After that found out this software is not suitable for my IIs.
Then i trying to downgrade to ORIGINAL ASIA WM2003SE ROM. That was a Error come out and cannot downgrade it.
The error is <ERROR 150: ROM UPGRADE UTILITY ERROR>. I trying many thing also cannot solve this problem. Even i using BA_WM5_Downgrade_pack also cannot. And i cannot find any thread to solve this thing in XDA-DEVELOPERS too.
Anybody can teach me how to downgrade my XDA IIS to Original WM2003SE ROM pleasE?

Has anyone had any success in upgrading their hx2790b to WM6? I'm a complete novice here, I'm trying to figure out which ROM to get and where to find it and how to upgrade to it without breaking my iPAQ. I currently, have:
HP iPAQ hx2790b
ROM Revision: 1.02.00.H
Bootloader Version: 1.02.00.H
Current OS: WIndows CE 5.0

In general did you have any problems upgrading to WM6? Is anything broken in the new rom? Also if something screws up is it as easy to flash back to WM5 with the supplied rom on your site?

Hello, I am a noob to axim's and upgrading roms. I've been searching for about 3 days (obviously not in the right forums) for how to upgrade my Dell axim x50 from WM2003SE to WM5 then to WM6/6.1 and where to get the files to do this.....any help or direction to any thread or other website that could help me out would be greatly greatly appreciated. I've had in iPaq 5555 so im not completely dumb when it comes to PPC's
Please note that a WM6 rom for X50(mid) does not exist yet (I'm working on it). As for the update from WM2003 SE to WM5, you need to get your hands on a WM5 upgrade cd. For more information please see the X50 section at Aximsite.
