Has anyone had any success in upgrading their hx2790b to WM6? I'm a complete novice here, I'm trying to figure out which ROM to get and where to find it and how to upgrade to it without breaking my iPAQ. I currently, have:
HP iPAQ hx2790b
ROM Revision: 1.02.00.H
Bootloader Version: 1.02.00.H
Current OS: WIndows CE 5.0
Any step by step directions would greatly help. Thanks again.

In general did you have any problems upgrading to WM6? Is anything broken in the new rom? Also if something screws up is it as easy to flash back to WM5 with the supplied rom on your site?

I really need rom for HP Ipaq rx4000 or rx5700 series. If somebody can cook or find it for me and others, it would be really appreciated.
Some specs:
when booting is showing 1.00.02 SP
OS 5.1.195 (Compilacion 14989.2.6.0)
Proccesor ARM920T S3C2442A (Samsung)
It there any chance to upgrade from WM 5 to WM 6/6.1?
Any informations or roms are welcome, because HP isn't going to release any upgrade for their customers.

I red a lot of articles and posts here but I cannot find what is the exact procedure to upgrade my HP iPaq HX2750 which is running now WM 2003 SE to the current WM6. I red a posts to update it from WM5 to WM6 but no information how to do it from Windows mobile 2003 SE.
Can someone help me with the procedure if it is possible?
I downloaded the following files from the forum but in some posts I red there are additional steps first to upgrade the device to WM5 than to WM6?

Just download LINK and install my WM6.5 - if You have a hx2750, no need for specific procedure
Hello, I am a noob to axim's and upgrading roms. I've been searching for about 3 days (obviously not in the right forums) for how to upgrade my Dell axim x50 from WM2003SE to WM5 then to WM6/6.1 and where to get the files to do this.....any help or direction to any thread or other website that could help me out would be greatly greatly appreciated. I've had in iPaq 5555 so im not completely dumb when it comes to PPC's
Please note that a WM6 rom for X50(mid) does not exist yet (I'm working on it). As for the update from WM2003 SE to WM5, you need to get your hands on a WM5 upgrade cd. For more information please see the X50 section at Aximsite.
