how do i connect to the wap to enable me to send mms? I`ve been trying for ages to work it out but it wont connect. thanks

yes when i put my sim card back in my old fone i can connect straight away to the net

did you set up a connection for gprs in the connection tab.
the settings are as folloes.
APN: internet
Username: web
password: web
Once you made a connections it shown all work ok.

i will try this i have sent my fone back to be checked over i got a cab file from i mate for vodafone contract and that never woked thanks for ur help...//can u plz tell me if i put tomtom satalite navagation will i have to buy any other bit to connect to my fone to let me use tomtom....many thanks john
hi, i recently upgraded my xda iis to windows mobile 2005, as i had enough of it reseting itself and crashing on me....since it has been fine now crashes nothing.....but i cant connect to the internet via gprs or send mms or the o2 active stuff....can any1 send me the information on how to do this please...ive been on the o2 web site n tried to enter the settings but cant get it to work cos of the different options n menus....

Hi thanks for settings worked great updated my SPV to WM6 yesterday and have been struggling to get MMS working as have had two messages waiting all day again thank u for a wonderful Cab file
I just spent a very frustrating half hour trying to work out why my XDA Orbit (connected to T-Mobile) wouldn't send an MMS message.
In the end I found out that the problem was that I had WiFi turned on. As WiFi was on it didn't seem to think that it needed to connect to GPRS to send the MMS and was therefore unable to connect. Does anyone know of any way to make it connect to GPRS and send the MMS irrespective of whether WiFi is on?

I have O2 xda Orbit upgraded to WM6, I need to connect to wireless access point at school which requires a proxy server. I know the proxy address and port No and add them through settings/connections/connections. I connect to the access point OK and can even browse network using Network Browser but no internet. Had same problem with WM5, WM6 no better.
