Hi All I'm newbie. I have Universal and I want to upgrade it. I already download crossbow ROM. After I launch the .exe and the program dtect the device it says "Country ID error". I think it because my Universal didn't CID Unlock.
I wan't to download CID unlock tools from FTP serve, but it always said that server is to busy or is not responding....

Iam talking about this:
START -> Settings -> System Informations -> Identity -> Device Serial Number
My loox has broke down and service had changed mainboard so the serial has changed also, my navigation software refuse to work with new serial. My subscription has ended some time ago so i cannot count for software delveloper ;[

I need to know the S/N of several xDAs by programming (.NET). I'm getting a Device ID with this format: {E6461300-EB04-0801-59FF-3D511C9E393A}, but i need to get the serial number printed below the battery in order to match the Device ID with the S/N. Is there any way to convert Device ID to get S/N? Otherwise, is there any way to get the S/N (a registry key for example)?

When you run the program it will tell you the serial number. Then you copy.paste that to the website.

It is also under your phone's battery. It is the serial number to your phone. There is some type of checksum in there or something, so make sure you type it right.
While we're at it...

Intro : Hello guys i had used SP flash tool to flash stock rom on my micromax canvas a1 . After That i selected Format and Download ( normally we just download but i selected format and download ) and found flashed the rom . Now i noticed the serial number of the device was turned to 00000000 and imei number to invalid . So now i fixed the invalid IMEI number problem . ANd i am back with a tutorial on how to regain serial number back of you phone to regain warranty .

To check Serial Number just connect your phone to PC ( usb debugging ) and type adb devices ( correct adb files needed )

Note : This post is for educational purpose only . You can find DB and other files in stock rom of your phone i.e. extract the stock rom and there will be a database folder . This folder will contain all the db files....

And you can find the GLU and AP DB file in the stock rom ( download stock rom ) and check the database folder of that stock rom.
Will it only fool the apps or it will also fool the network operators because as far as I know the network operators gets the original IMEI no. through sim cards?
cannot write sn or imei to my p780 lenovo phone using this tool
just using MTK Droit Root & Tools to restore my imei and nvram but cannot write SN
and its not do permanently, every time i do factory reset and its all gone again

Please , Send me nvram.bin file , I accidentally chose format all option in SP Flash tool which wiped my imei . I need it because it will give me permanent solution as it got wiped everytime when i flash new rom.
