Issues with installing applications on Vodafone HTC Touch Pro 2

Hi all,
I'm having some problems with installing applications on my HTC Touch Pro 2 (on the UK Vodafone network).
When I attempt to install any application I get the message:
"Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it is not digitally signed with a trusted certificate."
I've tried resetting the device but nothing works. There are 5 of us at work, and all have the same problem.
Has anyone got any advice on what we can do to resolve this problem?
Thanks
James

Successfully rooted HTC Desire, but had a few problems.

I successfully rooted my HTC Desire with Unrevoked, but I had a few problems which I had to google my way out of and I want to put my solutions up here so they be found by others.
Unrevoked did not recognise the HBOOT driver linked at the Unrevoked site, nor the ADC ones. The error message was just "waiting for device". It did recognise the HTC Sync driver.
Unrevoked then would not install while I still had HTC Sync installed, so I had to uninstall it.
Unrevoked could not then go ahead because of lack of internal space - internal error: installing package failed. I had to uninstall a few apps and then it installed fine.
I got a "would not reboot bootloader" error, so reinstalled hboot drivers at the hboot screen. "waiting for bootloader"
ROM Manager then did not work and I installed Cyanogenmod manually.
Not sure about most of those, as they haven't happened to me yet, but I would always advise to flash roms through recovery rather than rom manager. It gives you a lot more control, and I've had more than one experience of rom manager wiping things that I hadn't expected.
Also, most guides will confirm that htc sync needs to be installed for the drivers only, then installed, or else it interferes with the rooting process.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

This is normal, most manufacturers run their own drivers.

This is normal, pretty much standard in any Desire rooting guide.

It has to install somewhere Much like you wouldn't have been able to install any new largish apps I assume

Not so sure on this one sorry.

Count yourself lucky, ROM manager is not the best way to install a ROM. Always recommended to use recovery (it's dead simply anyway).
Anyway, welcome to the club and enjoy your new phone Make sure you do a backup via recovery (or ROM Manager actually does work well for this + lets you name your backups) before any new install, and NEVER use ROM Manager to flash a ROM.

[Q]HTC One X Drivers on W8

Hello guys!
After updating my HOX to JB, I decided to root it,but I got stuck at the first bloody step : installing HTC Drivers on Windows 8.I tried to install different versions , HTC Sync, HTC Sync Manager. In every case, the drivers failed to install. Also, I tried to install them manually, didn't work either.
The first attachment is a screenshot of Device Manager, after pluging my phone in :
One more thing, after plugin my HOX in, I don't get this anymore(second attachment)
. There is only a notification with ''USB connected'', and another one with : ''USB debugging connected''. So, I cannot transfer files from PC to HOX either. I believe this is because of the JB update, am I right?
I'm looking forward for any solution to my problem!
With jelly bean, the HOX will be displayed as multimedia device.
Try to install the newest Version auf HTC Sync Manager.
Uninstall old Versions before.

Like I said, I already did that. I installed different versions, including the newest one.
I use Windows 8 too.
I installed Sync Manager and then uninstalled it but the drivers remain installed.
Had no Problems until now.
When you connect the phone, does it ask you to install HTC Sync Manager ?

Yes, it does . Can I install the ''MTP'' driver manually?I tried but it says it couldn't find any driver for the specified device.
