Bootlogo, shutdown & battery charging logo from SGS2. Enjoy!
CWM package, apply via Recovery.
I installed Goatrip's ROM which includes the new boot and shutdown from the SGS2. If I flash this, will that screw anything up? I would like to get the new battery charging thing but just want to make sure I won't encounter any problems installing it.
Thanks!

Before install please take a look into your ROM, if you have the same files inside your ROM then this would simply replace it with new ones, nothing to lose
Can you post screenshots please? I would like to be certain what it is exactly.
WORKS GREAT HERE THX !
yeah, screenshots pls
Ditto screen shot please...
I checked it already, looks really nice. First a space scene with stars then this forms into the Samsung logo. Don't know how else to describe it. Had 1 FC on start and eventually restored back to my normal setup with nandroid.
não tem som porque ?
Worked a OK
no issues @ all (de-Odexed XWJVB (2.3.3); CF-Root KERNEL 3.1; Gingerbread theme v5.3
also SIMPLY HONEY 3.2 FINAL V2 is OK
but
still like the old sexy S on our beloved SGS 1
Anybody tried this on a Darky's ROM set-up?

CM10.1 on Galaxy I9000B
So is this only for stock roms or can we use it in custom roms?
Sent from my GT-P7510 using Tapatalk HD
I'm pleased to present my repack of the stock ROM for the HTC Vision! READ THIS WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU START! No, really, it contains everything you need to know.
Remember that if you use this ROM, you do so entirely at your own risk!!
About MoDaCo stock ROM repacks
Unlike a MCR (MoDaCo Custom ROM) release, a stock ROM repack is as close to the stock ROM as possible. Only root / Superuser and an insecure boot image is added. The benefits of the repack are providing a rollback option in update zip format as well as providing an online kitchen to remove parts that are not required.
A MCR release of this ROM is also available!
Requirements
In order to use this ROM on your device, you must have a custom recovery image installed (Clockwork Mod).
THIS ROM SHOULD RUN ON BOTH THE G2 AND THE DESIRE Z!
Features
Repack of the 2.15.531.3 (OTA) Gingerbread ROM
Pre-rooted with su and Superuser Permissions by ChainsDD
Insecure boot image (ro.secure=0)
Changelog
Please see 2 posts below this one for the changes in each release.
Installation
To install this ROM:
Download the zip file of your choice from the links below (or the online kitchen) and copy to your SD card
Restart your device in recovery mode
PERFORM A NANDROID BACKUP FROM THE MENU
Select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to your memory card
Upgrading
No wipe is explicitly required in order to use this ROM (you should be particularly safe if coming from a near-stock ROM), however if you do encounter issues of any kind, it is recommended that you wipe your device and reproduce the issue before raising it here.
Downloads
The ROM is packaged for installation via ClockworkMod. The radio / baseband is packaged for installation via either renaming to PC10IMG.zip and copying to SD card then rebooting to bootloader or by 'fastboot flash'ing the radio (both of which will likely require your device to be 'S-OFF / ENG' bootloader).
A MCR will follow soon.
[Edit: It looks like Mediafire are having some issues with redirects atm, if you get a 404, give it a few tries!]

It's impossible to mention everyone who contributes to the Android community by name, but to everyone out there who does great work and shares it with us all - you have my gratitude and respect.
And finally...
Details on how to donate should you wish to do so are in download topic at MoDaCo.
Enjoy!

Yeah, you can flash it on top of anything. Usual caveats apply, backup first blah blah etc. etc.

Can you elaborate on the "uncensored" DNS servers? What's wrong with the defaults? Is it easy to revert to the defaults?
Paul, can you clarify if this requires you to be running the last FroYo tmo OTA? Or can this be flashed from a clean wipe? I looked at the file system in the zip, and it looks like a full ROM, but I just flashed the odex'd version and got stuck at the HTC splash. Thanks man.
its a full rom i cleaned wiped & flash the deodex & it runs great so far
Love this ROM. Super clean &fast. I just have 2 questions. 1 Is there a taptowake link some one can send me or post. 2 do I really need to flash the new baseband & radio seems fine without it.

You can flash this on top of anything, probably without wiping if coming from a near stock build as the actual ota is non wipe.

Hi guys recently installed the latest mike1986 Rom after switching from Leedroid Rom, however I noticed Android Revolution HD Rom has the annoying three dots that take up the screen unlike leedroid. I know that Android Revolution HD is a no visual change rom, my question is there a way to TWEAK OR REMOVE the annoying three menu dots. Thanks in advance.
Read the first three posts in the thread, they are there to help you.
this should help..
There is a way to remove the 3 dots, however the new 7.0.0 android revolution has been released and HTC has incorporated a way to remove the 3 dot menu and use the recent apps key as a menu button on the new 4.0.4
If you want the 3 dots menu fix for ARHD 6.x.x then it's here

question, since its about ARHD, i flash the rom but there's two options, one is for rosie (hope thats correct) and one is for performance wise, last two steps before completing the process, and i think i took the wrong options, and after rebooting my home screen is black.
which option should i take?

Alter look and feel of recent apps UI
Seeing as this thread has a non-specific title that relates to the ROM I'm running and I can't yet post on the main revolution thread due to my small post count I shall ask my question here.
I'm running Android Revolution HD 7.0.0 with franco r10 kernel and have 'no-sense'd it using ROM cleaner.
Is there a way to change the look and feel of the recent apps UI to be like the stock ICS one that you get on the cm9 ROMs? That is, a vertical scrolling 2D list rather than the 3D card shuffling you get by default on the One X.
Searching the forums here and the rest of the net I think I've got as far as working out it's in SystemUI.apk, but I've no idea if that is interchangeable between ROMs; I doubt it is.
I realise this is a very minor annoyance, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello there !
Glad that you are having a look at this :good:
I love HTC One V's stock ICS rom with sense 4.0, that awesome camera, battery life, stability and internet pass through feature was too good to be missed!
But the only thing that kept me away from it was the occasional lags due to those awful bloat ware n stuffs which HTC packed with this rom .
So I decided to remove all the “useless/unimportant/optional” apps from the stock ICS rom.
This worked perfectly fine for me OR should I say that I have no complaints :fingers-crossed:
I changed to Samsung Galaxy Advance recently, I thought of sharing this with my fellow mates in the One V forum as a parting gift to anyone looking for this (more like a pay back to the help this forum has given me).
A big thanks to Lloir and Maxwen, for welcoming me into this forum when I was a newbie (still am, somewhat … LOL). These guys are real champions! :victory:
Once again, I want to make it clear that it is 100% stock ROM with no modifications what so ever, other than the removed bloat ware!
I couple it with the Titanium Kiss Kernel by Maxwen (Latest Version)

So I’m not sure/ignorant whether this might work for other countries or not.
I would be glad if it becomes useful to you guys.

Download link is not working. Please update it fast
Earlier we got boot animations from pixel 2 devices, but I am here with flashable ones to reduce work on your part.
So just download, and get to flashing!
Instructions-
-TO FLASH PIXEL 2 BOOT ANIMATION+SPLASH-
Just download the appropriate boot animation and flash through any custom recovery. If you dont have one, use apps like flashify to get the job done.
-TO BACKUP YOUR CURRENT BOOT ANIMATION-
Through a root file manager, go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and then flash whichever pixel 2 boot zip you fancy.
-TO RECOVER BACKED UP BOOT ANIMATION-
Again through a root file manager, go to /system/media and delete bootanimation.zip. Now rename bootanimation.zip.bak to bootanimation.zip.
Downloads-
Light version- Download!
Dark version- Download!
Disclaimer- IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR DEVICE BECAUSE OF THIS ZIP. YOU CHOSE TO FLASH IT!

Instructions - Well its pretty simple, Just dark or normal Pixel2[Boot+Splash]-MG4.zip through twrp, wipe cache, reboot to system. THATS IT.
TO BACKUP YOUR CURRENT BOOTANIMATION,
Through a root broweser, go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and then flash whichever pixel 2 zip.
Included in the .zip - BOOT LOGO AND BOOTANIMATION.
Credits - @fosser2 - for the stock pixel 2 bootanimation.
