Hi,
Is there a version of Dictionary Editor that works with WM6? And... how I can change the Dictionary language, I need to change only the dictionary, not any other thing, I mean, keyboard layout, etc. Is there a .ca for that?.
Regards,
Taguapire.
I am using the program/cab file I obtained from this site and it seems to be working well on vp3G's 3.0.

Isn't this custom behavior? All words I write in Norwegian seems to get added to the dictionary, even phrases. This has been the same for all WM6 roms I've tried (Black Satin isn't one of them though).

I know it save and add all u typing. The issue is that the prgm ask u if u wona save the word or not u can always ignore that. “Det gäller skriva rätt ord”

Unfortunately DictEditor does not support WM6 yet. And WordCorrector will support WM6 only in the next version (which I hope to release soon). SpellChecker works with WM6 without changing anything.
Currently, one WM6 user is helping me to do some "detective" work and hopefully find out what file/database actually contains the word completion dictionary in WM6. Too bad I don't own a WM6 device yet, else the hunting/development process should be able to speed up.
i forget the name of the file in the rom but its a .txt file and its located near the preconfig.txt if you search a rom dump sorted by type. i have edited the text and it worked its pretty easy just need to dump the rom thats all.

I hope you are referring to the word completion dictionary rather than the auto correct dictionary.
Dictionaries in WM5 and earlier:
1) Word Completion: dyncompdict.dat
2) Spell Checking: custom.dic
3) Auto correct: autocorrect.txt
Dictionaries in WM6:
1) Word Completion: ???
2) Spell Checking: custom.dic
3) Auto correct: autocorrect.0409.txt (for English ROM)
I hope someone figures out the "missing link" so that I can work on an update for DictEditor soon.

It would be really handy to find out which file holds the Word Completion dictionary - I've got a few duff entries in mine (on my Universal), so I'd like to delete the whole lot.
Cheers,
Steve.

I hadn't gotten a chance to work with your program since I recently flashed. I just automatically installed it since it was always so helpful in the past. I hope you will keep us up to date when you get it working for WM6
vicott, I'm using HTC Touch and I installed HTC PhonePad. I also installed your T9Editor, but when I run it, it always says "HTC Phone Pad is not installed in your device." I have already did a soft reset, chose PhonePad as SIP and the error message still pops up.

It will be fixed in the next version. It's already completed actually, but I'm not releasing it yet due to other reasons. If you wish to have the file now, you can e-mail me here.

I received quite a couple of irrelevent e-mails regarding this post lately, so I have to clarify here once & for all.
Firstly, I was only referring to an update for T9Editor (I was only responmding to a query if you guys have read the earlier posts), which is one of the 6 "sub-programs" in the DictMgr suite.
Secondly, T9Editor is only used for modifying the dictionary used by HTC Phone Pad.
Thirdly, 5 of the 6 "sub-programs" in DictMgr suite are already compatible with WM6 all the while. The only one that is not compatible is DictEditor.
Next, the update for T9Editor (which is also included in the latest version of DictMgr) has already been released. Please go to my website to download it.
Lastly, DictEditor (used to modify the word completion dictionary in WM5 and below) is not compatible with WM6 because the word completion dictionary file is a different file (different filename and location) in WM6. To add on to the misery, the file structure is totally different. That makes it highly challenging to develop a dictionary editor for it since I haven't read about anybody "deciphering" how the file works YET.

ok did a search for the cyberon voice commander .cab via a post that showed it as this
CVC-PPC-WWE-705142-DopodPPC.CAB
all 4 results from all the 4 forums came up mentioning it but never actually had the .cab
did a search via google and got there main site but no where to download voice commander. and every thing else was just ms voice command, and I don't like that program.
can someone point me to the thread where I can download it for my WM6 and any other files that need to be attached to have it run? thanks Dahui9

posting it on xda-devs then makes xda-dev's a warez site which is not on... as Cyberon Voice Commander is licensed it should not be posted on xda-dev... I suggest downloading the ROM, using nbhextract and get the ExtROM.nb file.. then search on xda-dev for a user called 'andim' he wrote an extended ROM editor... this will allow you to extract the files....
alright cool thank you sir. I think its time I start cooking my own programs then. I'll try it just wish the official att wm6 had it dopod's doesn't work to well with my hermes
I couldn't let this site go down like that. I like it way to much

Hello gurus.
PCM Keyboard I consider as great tool the same as PocketCM. But now I discovered strange behaviour - when I'm trying to use it somewhere outside the PocketCm, I can't see text. I'm typing blanks only.
Inside PocketCM PCMK works properly. (no matter which version)
Would you suggest me how can I repair it ? (resets, reinstals, deinstals and instals again don't help)
A cople days ago I flash my Trinity with last WWE/Light bepe ROM. Before that I used the aplication with easy (on many ROMs) . I do not claim that it's because of bepe ROM, but who knows... Would someone with bepe ROM check this up?
thanks,
Malin.
The problem is bepe rom... or better... the new os version...
thanks for quick answer. now I at least know, that the problem is not in my system.
I hope, they adjust PCMK to new OS....
Try deactivating xT9. It works on my device (with Bepes Rom) when xT9 is deactivated in the rom settings tool.
Its also happening IN contact manager while typing an sms I am using the 0.15 verison
Yes, after deactivating xT9 it start working...Great - thanks for idea
After 3 months of trying found the way to make CVC _fully_ work on HDmini. Tested and 100% working with BT Nokia CK-15W, S-E HCB400, and several BT ear-sets. I am almost sure that this will work on HD2 too.
What I did is:
1. instal Dutty's Cyberon Voice Speed Dial - available on XDA (btw. it works fine alone, but is less useful than CVC) ON THE DEVICE
2. instal the proper CVC (I use Polish version: CVC_2.5.2_909141.PLK.CBD) ON THE DEVICE
3. find the folder with CVC (program files/cyberon/CVC) and copy all files to the windows directory (using total commander makes this operation much faster)
4. in WINDOWS folder find "SDDialer.exe" and delete it
5. rename "rVoicecommand.exe"in /WNDOWS folder to "SDDialer.exe"
6. soft reset HD mini, everything should be fine.
Would you be so kind and provide all the necessary cab files for this procedure?
me too.make any changes for my mini.
After the above steps, how do we use this ? is a hotkey that we press/configure to use it ?
Hola dctor, thank you for your tests and confirmation
Maybe not the cabs (that would be very nice though), but at least pointing us to the correspondant threads, so we can download the "right" cabs there as well
hi folks
You will get the links as soon as I get home, that is in the next 2-3 days
In this link you have Duttys voice dial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=595851&highlight=Dutty's+Voice+Speed+Dial&page=3
I cannot give you any link to CVC as this is a commercial version - you just have to use a credit card or at least a bit of imagination to get it
As I am not a programmer I cannot give you any cab of my own but just follow these steps and you'll make it work. After doing all the steps you can assign the SEND ("green" phone") button in start>personal>buttons menu of your HD MINI. (normally it is unusable) to open the CVC. Also it will start after pressing the voice dial button of your BT set
