PDA2k: VPN and Wi-Fi - don't work

The following problem after installation official ROM 1.40 (i-mate pda2k) has jumped out: houses Wi-Fi the network - is connected to the Internet through ADSL, as a router - kerio winroute, I try will be connected through VPN to work, at once falls off - on ROM 1.22 all worked!!! In broad gullies winroute and vpn a server - all is pure - connection occurs and falls off, anywhere nothing to be cut! And at connection to the Internet through gprs, vpn - works. At return to rom 1.22 all again works, I change radio a stack on 1.12 too works! Again I put 1.40 - the same raker!!! Where to dig??? Thankful in advance for the help, dm.

I have a qtek 9090 wwe. I've just upgraded it to 1.40 and I experienced exaclty the same problem. Did you find any answer? Is there a workaround?

NO Bluetooth modem ?

ROM 1.30.77 WWE
RADIO 1.09.00
and when i search from my PC bluetooth services i found Dialup modem....
but i Chandeg to Helmi AKU3.5 v1.3 ROM and something change .. maybe ...
I dont use from changing rom Dialup because i wasnt out of office....but now i wanted to connect my notebook via Uni and Bluetooth found only Bluetooth Network and Serial Service....
Anybody can help me why i don see modem ? I cant connect from my notebook via UNI...

Since AKU 3 BT DUN was dropped in favour of BT Personal Area Networking
I am also having trouble with this, as my primary OS is OS X which lacks a PAN service.
Helmi has released the broadcomm stack as a test but that fails for me atm.
Try using PAN if you can?

Great link for tutorial BUT....
Everything i understand i tried a lot of things but it only works via USB cable ...
I tried Internet sharing but if i choose Internet connection which i am using in mobile and works in Internet sharing it say that it cant connect because unknown reason ...

WLAN WPA Problem

I tried to get in an WPA and WPA II network with PSK
I didn't work it out Laptops and other Devices can join the Network but the Trinity can't
My testet Roms are AXEL and Bepe 0.79, some hints what to do

ADEWIDT wwe ROMs work oke -SUPER for me ( WPA and WPA2 )

thx but I want an resolution. change roms is not an solution or even option.
I like my bepe ROM even I use an ger version now.

WPA-PSK is working perfectly for me on bepe 0.79.
Can't it be a setting on your accesspoint, like MAC address filtering?

The only thing is I used Linksys AccesPonints for testing

Restart your Linksys... sometimes I have the same issue... after restart connecting is no problem....

Just for letting you know, I found an solution. WPA and WPA 2 just work fine but if the password iss to komplex and I mean letters and numbers not symbols. It fails.
My Password was Ze4xPAD736b after changing it all worked fine.
So Folks please fix the WPA Stack on all my other devices this works just fine.

Seems it's working. I had problems with my home router and cannot connect to one T-Mobile hotpost at all. Now everything seems to be ok.

i780 was Bricked + Unbrocked with DXHA1
I had problem with WiFi connecting to Router after unbricking my i780 with DXHA1. I thought I would need a new ROM. I used this to get it working. It Worked instantly. Thanx. Thought I lost 200 quid.

I use WM 6.1 I780PDXHL2. Is it this patch available for this firmware version?

the patch update the driver version to the 1.0.6.8 .... It's not necessary in the HL2, and the HL1 version have the latest WiFi driver, version 1.0.8.1 ....

I have I780PDXHL2 and WIFI S/W 1.0.7.7. I download windows from this site http://smartmobile.pl/soft-hl2-dla-samsunga-i780-z-updaterem-exe and use Vista upgrader. I upgraded polish WM6 I780CBHE1 to WM 6.1 I780PDXHL2.

i've still got problems.
I dont know how i can fix this.
When I am connected with a wifi point and I will surf the web by microsoft internet explore, it always says: cant find the webpage'.
Can somebody help me? Maby the ip settings is the problem

I have HL2 (CEHI2) and the version of the WiFi driver is 1.0.6.0.
I installed version 1.0.6.8 and still am not able to connect view Internet Explorer. Anyone have version 1.0.8.1 as an installable patch?

Sgh i780 wlan connection issue
I have a Samsung I780 it detects my Wireless G network on a linksys, but if i try connecting the same to a Belking WLAN B/G/N Router it does not detect the network
Any Solution for this

Try to change Router for b/g only.
Maybe you need to use small file on your i780 if your PDA dont want to start in G mode

i have this link install to my phone and after the wifi not working !!!

I have installed the patch but i'm still not able to surf the internet.... i can connect to my router but the phone tries to use gprs connection when i browse... can someone halp me?

Hi. My ROM WM 61 PDXHL2 . I can't connect to the internet at home wifi. IP configuration is 100% correct. None problems with the connection (Conected)
but in Opera/others network app internet does't work. On others acces points works fine. It's bug ? What I can do? sorry , bad my english.

you mean your wifi connection is there but u cant surf the web....
please check the connection (settings/connections/connections and set the primery internet connetion.) i am using the HL2 rom and i am checking my mails on the wifi...

on others acces points everything is working. I need wifi firmware update

I have the same problem. It's because of WPA security, on WEP internet works propertly. Also you may turn GSM off when you're using wifi, that should work.
Some new wifi drivers solve that bug.

I had the same problem, and found out that Samsung have released a patch for wireless, and got every thing working since =)
just go to official Samsung website and download that patch =)
