AKU 3.2 Beta 7 and MS Voice Command

Can somebody tell me, how can I use MS Voice Command 1.5 or when it gives a neu Update for MS Voice Command

I agree - this is a problem for me too as I am wanting MSVC to work with Ivan's ROM.
I hope we don't have to wait too long for MS to bring out the next release for VC.
We wait in hope...

Who developes that Rom. I thought it was Lt.Cmdr.Ivan.
That is why I had write to him a PM.
Can any deveoper say if this important Programm is in work or not.
It is a good Rom, but if this problem will be for ever.
I have to know that, because that is the only reason to use another Rom.

Lt.Cmdr.Ivan created the ROM for us.
This rom has AKU3.2 (rather than 2.0 or whatever the current official release is)
Basically Microsoft haven't released this AKU3.2 yet.
MS Voice Command is due for an update soon (version 1.8 or 2.0 - can't find the links now to where I read this!!)
MS VC will work with another ROM that is AKU2 or other. It won't work with AKU3.2
I'm not reading up and shopping around for the best ROM for me so that I can go back to using MSVC (I've heard TMOBILE or QTEK are very good so going to look into it). I may end up creating a very small basic ROM for myself - will post you details once I've bodged it up if you want. But I'm not good at doing these things so could take a lot of time for me lol!!!

Have I understand it right, that if Microsoft will make another update for the MSVC it wil be for AKU3.2?

i do not know whether M$ will make another release of MSVC - it is just a presumption.
I expect them to make a new release, else they will have a fair number of dis-satisfied customers!

TMobile latest ROM
could someone be so kind as to post me some links to the LATEST TMobile ROM and extROM?
I have tried searching but I am unsure as to what the latest versions are.
I don't have a TMobile account so can't download from their web.

I am glad to you will present a ROM. After many attempts and researches, I together with mun_rus, misar and other people have created this ROM on the basis of AKU 3.5.2.

What I delete from ROM:
1.It was removed Transcriber.
2.MSN Messendger.
Bugs:
1.Notification windows not at center(use fix ti resolve this problem)
How to install my ROM:
1. To unpack an insertion in root SD of a card it there should be in FAT32 differently an insertion will not begin.
2. To press simultaneously WI-FI+POWER+RESET
3. Not releasing buttons Wi-Fi+POWER to wait window occurrences bootloader.
4. Continue installation.
Fix notification windows(Thanks paveld)
Fix VGAKEY bug(Thanks Metazoa)

Any idea why the CF is not working? This rom is not useful for me if CF is not working.

Can you plz upload the dll files so that we can change the system icons? It is possible to change them by replacing the original files in windows folder, right?

By the way, I have a x51v too.

Yes it's possible, copy shellres192.dll from windows folder and use reshacker to replace icons,after use Resco Explorer and replace original shellres.Then reboot device and you have new icons in your device.But if you have problems install cab from attach.

I too have a X51v as well besides the HTC Blueangel and find AKU 2.3.0 from Dell's A12 ROM tired and boring.

The Axim X51v is produced by HTC for DELL, you can see on the ABOUT tab of WLAN utility that it's made by High Tech Computers (HTC).

Will this work on a axil x30 or does anyone know of any wm6 cooked rom for this. I still have this old model and thought I could maybe upgrade it to make it usable again

i just wanted to say, thanks football, i havn't tried your rom yet, but when CF is fixed, i likely will. i was referenced to this thread from aximsite, and i'm signed in here for a different reason.
anyways, keep up the awesome stuff. i'll keep tuned in for the updated (CF Working) version, and the WM6 build (if there ever is one )

I installed the ROM and a german axim and everything (besides CF) works. The axim is now way faster, more stable and I got more free memory.

Cooks Help needed.

Just a little bit of info needed as I am new to all this cooking ROMS.
I am using the Core Kitchen which I have found easy when extracting a ROM and I have been using the schaps ROM as it contats the RGU files with the packages as oppose to the Black Roms which dont and I am not confident enough to be able to sort out that mess yet.
The question is in two parts and I hope you can help me a little.
Part 1: when you extract the ROM what is contained in the OS.nb file the reas on I ask is I want to get a Basic from MS ROM so I can start with my own ROM building as oppose to someone elses (VERY GOOD I MIGHT ADD) ROM.
Part 2: where can I get the RTM M$ WM6 ROM from a rom without any modifications or any added packages just the M$ PDA/PHONE ROM.
Please help this is the only two bits that im really lost with.

Not sure im new to all this myself as you can prob tell.
Vanilla ROM has too many missig files that I cannot even find according to the tutorial with CORE an official ROM wont have any missing files schaps only has 1 which i know where to find it so can put it in the right place.
It just seems easier to want to start with a RTM official M$ rom and build on it rather than hack bits out of an already cooked rom.

Its on the Wiki i looked at Cooked Roms on the main wiki page and then it gave me a list of them that were avaliable. Vanilla was on the top of the list.

you can also give a look at the Dopod ROM posted here in the forum... even that its not the newes build, it has nothing added/mising; it could be a good start point.

I would suggest you spend a little time in the upgrading section. As far as a stock windows mobile 6 rom, the problem is there aren't any yet. Although I think some upgrades may be coming along in the next few months. The roms here are pieced together from other machines or pulled from unreleased versions. I don't know of a true "stock" hermes wm6 rom at this point. You could get a WM5 rom to practice with which would show you what to expect, and what "comes with" though.

WM6.1 beta expired hack?

I have a WM6.1 beta rom that expired on my PDA, but there is no future release. Is there a hack to prevent the rom being expired?

More information like make, model of pda and rom?

I have a IPAQ 6945 with WM6.1 loaded, but the beta expired, and the person who cooked it is no longer working on it. Does anyone know how to revive the PDA to the current date?

Thanks for the link, I looked at the file, needs to be cooked into the rom, I need something to break the timebomb since my rom is already cooked. Anyway to disable timebomb after a cooked rom?

Pls post any pictures from you hw6945 & wm6

Looks like you need to share the rom before people can look at it.
Who did you get the rom from? If you're allowed to distribute it, share it, and then others can disassemble and remove the bomb.
There are various guides for ripping from various devices, but how did you install the rom in the first place? It'd be best to distribute it as you received it, as a cooked rom, rather than a rom rip, to be sure it's a complete and usable rom.
Where is the rom expiring? Once it's booted, or pre-boot? Please post screenshots in the mean time. But again, post the rom (if you're allowed to) and we'll take it apart.

I will post some screenshots, but I am not allowed to distribute the rom, but willing to take it apart and see what I can do. So any tools will be helpful.

hw6915 wm5 modified with some software like shell 2 ,o2 last call plugin, WM6 today screen ,my name at bottom right is shortcut to new menu and shell and alot more nice things
but the settings screen shot is just a modifid one with photoshop ...

Yes, this is a really early build of 6.x. When I flash the OS, the welcome screen is all messed up, but I can set the default windows green them, looks like the WM5. I believe they tried to use the same theme, but I was able to fix the issues the theme.

you cannot upload things you dont have 

if he had issues with his rom [wm6] the all device was uploadedas far as he is saying he had wm6 [in the past ] 

ps- he talkes about old 6.x when 6.1 is a very new thing to all dvices

Hi guys, first i would like to say thanks to MagLite for even making it possible to run WM6 on the x50v. We really appreciate the time you put in this project!
As people are aware, MagLite doesnt own a x50v anymore, so i was thinking that maybe we can get donations towards him buying one so that he can continue to make his roms better.

Not to stear anybody away from this, but I have made a WM6.1 ROM for the X50v. It is still a very early release. It can be found here.
