REQ: Custom ROM - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development

Hi,
I would apreciate if somone here could cook me up a version of schaps 4.01 but with an extra cab file installed from the ROM and a specific homepage, a few preconfigured favourites and a few phone numbers.
This will make my life much easier as my users would be able to just factory reset when they screw up their device, rather than bring it to me to sort out all the time. so I con concentrate on my primary role of running our computer network.
Thanks muchly.

or point me int eh right direction ?
Im new to this, ide do it myself if i coudl find a tutorial / software.
Thanks

Start the the kitchen in the stickys, and learn how to cook. Its not an easy thing to cook a ROM. Just have to learn it by experience. Or pay money to Schap and ask him to cook your custom ROM for you...

Where can I learn about ROM files...??

Hi everybody...
Like many many people, I've following some threads here at XDA about the releases of WM6 Roms since de first XDA-Live to the newest black 3.0 rom and all of them have a lot of really good things...
I've learned to make custom splash screens thanks to the guides of MrVanx and using the Tadzio tools could modify an OS.nb (the one from the Doppod release thread) file in order to free some memory by cutting off things like the sample pictures and videos, ringtones and trash like that that is embledded in the ROM...
Now I would like to go the full way and customize even more my own ROM...I would like to remove some programs and utilities (in fact for me they are useless ) and even attached to the ROM some other programs like JasJamming or Dutty have already done but here comes my problem...I'm not such a guru and still have a lot to learnd about modifying a ROM and the question is as stated on the title: Where can I read and learn about the diferent files in the ROM???
I dont want to remove important folders from the rom... but the name of the files dont tell anything by itself (at least not at this point to me) so I really will apreciate if you can point me or give some suggestions about where to star...
I think its a lot better to anoy you with this post, maybe get some usefull help and thake the time to learn; than screw my TyTn and be banned after posting something stupid like I brick my device what to do ...
Thanks in advance !!
regards
Mablan

Rom kitchen???

Has anyone made a rom kitchen for the dash? Or successfully extracted the files from the OS?
I really want to cook a custom rom.
I did call me the cook...
I will take that as ricky or Kavana have it and thats about it
For all the lurking I have done on this forum that is all that I have seen, I have not been able to locate a rom kitchen yet. However; I think that there would be a whole new mess of questions if someone just posted one up. All in all, it would be nice, but the amount of hassle it would cause for the experienced people would be too much to deal with.

ROM Porting.

Call me stupid, but I have searched around ALOT on this forum for an answer to my question but have yet found any relevance to what I am looking for.
I want to start cooking my own Artemis ROM's. As far as I have read the easiest way is by using something called HyperCore kitchen. Now, I've started using this, but have found out afterwards that cooked ROM's available to download on here, cannot be extracted properly so as to be able to make one of them custom for what I want.
And as there is no official WM6.1 ROM for the Artemis, I am at a loss.
Basically, what I am asking to do, is to find out how to port a Kaiser WM6.1 official ROM so that it would be usable on the Artemis. Alternatively, perhaps find out what files are required from the Kaiser ROM to make the official WM6 Artemis ROM into WM6.1.
I hope I haven't confused you all. Any help would be greatly appreciated, maybe from bepe, tom_codon, Anja, NhatHoa? Any of you guys still about these days?
90 Views and nobody else knows anything?
This is starting to bug me now
I have looked everywhere. I have used the search, the wiki, google! I can't find any reference anywhere that explains to me how I can properly make a WM6.1 ROM for my Artemis using the required 6.1 files from a Diamond ROM.
HELP!!!!!!!
Start off with a base ROM first instead of porting. Porting can get very tricky and complicated. I'm currently in the attempt of porting a ROM (for the Hermes) and let me tell you, it's not easy. If you want to know more, i can show you what i'm doing via IM (faster) or here.

Help cooking a rom

I am making an attempt to cook my own ROM and I am looking to get some help.
I would like to build a simple ROM for a Verizon Vogue.
It needs to have ALL of the basic functionality but it needs to have all of the basic features.
I am going to use PPC Geeks BuildOS. What I would like to know is what features do I absolutely need to build a basic starting point?
Thanks in advance for the help

Best visual kitchen?

Hi guys,
I am thinking very strongly about building my own WM6.5 rom.
I read and searched through alot of info on kitchens (I hope i understand the term correctly) and I am a little over whelmed by the amout of choices...
As i understand it i will need a kitchen and a base rom (WM6.5 build X) to start with.
I am also fairly fond of a GUI, can someone link me the easyist kitchen to use and where i can find the resources for the latest WM files and TF3D 2.X
Also how do you all test your roms?
Is there a Touch Diamond emulator or virtual phone rom tester?
Sorry to be a noob.
Thanks in advance.
