T-mobile Artemis in the Netherlands

As of yesterday the Artemis is on the T-mobile site in Holland. I called customer service and they told me they have them in stock. I will order it next week!
The Dutch T-mobile version differs from the German, it will be released with:
WIFI, UMTS and HSPDA according to the internetsite and they even talk about infrared. But without TomTom (6) They could not tell me wether a FM radio is integrated.

Forgive my lameness but I do not see mentionned anywhere the device supports hspda nor UMTS (it shall be supporting EDGE though even it is not mentionned on your link).

When I visited the site last Sunday HSPDA and UMTS was mentioned. They probably updated the specs.

Correct the dimensions you have listed match the device but the weight is 130g (with Battery) - whats 2g though! - Mike

For the Dutch viewers:
- 2 year contract Flex 20
- 50% discount first 4 months
- free bleutouth headset
- and! TOMTOM6 (with or without maps is still unclear)
Price 109,95 for the device (249,95 with 1 year contract Flex 20)
Untill know they did not sell with TT6

Is it a new contract or a renewal?
Also, how did you place your order? Website/callcenter..
I am also in the Netherlands, and interested in this phone..
But, prices on the t-mobile website seem to be higher than yours..

These conditions are for a renewal. I placed the order at the call-center. They told me they have better offers then the ones on the website and in the shops, because they have less overheadcosts etc.
When I ordered the free BT-headset was mentioned on the website as well, but couldn't find it anymore today. It seems they change there offers daily.
In other forums poeple today are talking about 29,95 for the device with a 2 year contract, no matter wich contract (but no TT6 with maps of Benelux and no BT headset)
So call the klantenservice

u have such cheap n affordable handsets price in your country, totally different from my country, even with plan it can/might cost around euro600

Today I've got the written acknowledgement from T-mobile.
Surprisingly it didn't say anything about TomTom6. I called them and they told met they made a mistake, altough they confirmed it to me sevral times by phone. TT6 is being sold with the MDA vario only and not with the Compact III.
I wrote them an e-mail where a stated they have to deliver what was agreed.
Let me know when you are interested in the outcom (probably dome where next week)

Well, paid a visit to a Tmob shop yesterday.
Price for Flex30-1 year is 209 Euros, same as their web shop and not very cheap.
So, I decided to wait for a week or two to see if Trinity indeed comes out with an integtared GPS as speculated in various forums..
So, at stand by for now...
BTW, are you happy with your unit? Any problems so far?
And how is the internet connection speed if you've got web n' walk?

mda compact III for sale Brand New

hello all
i have for sale a brand new MDA Compact III still sealed from T-Mobile. I took out a new T-Mobile contract and got this phone as part of the deal that we made for our company but i already have the ORBIT so i am selling this as brand new with the seal intact, so i havent even opened it yet. It will be locked to the T-Mobile network but i can probably get the unlock code for you if you want and will only charge whatever they charge me.
So looking for about £300 mark plus p&p etc etc

For Sale: O2 XDA Exec in London, UK

I have been given a corporate phone from my company therefore I am selling my O2 XDA Exec.
It is in mint condition. I bought it from a second hand shop in London (C.E.X) on the 11/11/2006. It is under warranty in this shop until the 11/11/2007.
The package is the following:
- O2 XDA Exec (Unlocked)
- Charger and USB Cable
- O2 Manual + O2 Cd
- Spare Stylus
- Case (the one included in the retail box)
- One SD Card 1 Go (Non brand)
- One SD Card 2 Go (Sandisk Ultra II)
I will put some pictures later today.
The device is currently installed with Windows Mobile 6, but I can sale it with the initial O2 Rom (just let me know which one you want).
I am not looking to ship the device so I am living in London so I would prefer doing the sale in London hand to hand.

i've got a problem with my t-mobile dash/mail and it isn't even here know
At first I've to say that i'm a schoolboy from germany so my english isn't perfect yet
Yesterday i bought an mda mail (the german version of the dash) for 80€ on ebay. It's brand new, so I'm quiete happy und lucky.
Thats the good thing. The bad is: It's nelocked on T-mobile. The main reason for which i bought the mda mail is that i wan't to go on the internet and use msn pocket. In Germany, t-mobile doesn't offer any good conditions but e-plus does. That's why I want to use an eplus Simcard.
Can you guys give me any clues to unlock my mda mail? I already read some topics on this board but i've already found some threads but i think most of the tipps aren't usefull for my german mda mail.
Of course i would prefer a free solution but i don't think that that is realistic. I just don't want to pay 100€ to t-mobile
So pleaseee help me

i really like the look of the full black housing of the t-mobile mda.
can you give me a link ot the phone you purchased on ebay. i cant find them anywhere.
the only threads ive seen about unlocking are around here. i belive they should be useful even if its an german mda mail but hey my offer is till up for a trade

Well, normaly i would trade my mda mail on you but you life in america and i in germany. We would have to pay taxes and so on.
But this is how you can get an total black mda:
1) visit ebay.de
2) type in mda mail
3) switch to "smartphones" at the left side
4) Check the offers and write some friendly email. Please also mention why yout want to buy the mda (because many people from other countries betray on german ebay)
Wait a few weaks.

So there is no free solution? Can anybody calculate the key (except for tmobile)? How much is the unlock usually?

generally its about 30-50USD...so whatever that comes out to be in Germany Im not sure, but it IS worth the money to get it done, it will cost alot of course to get it up and running, but it increases the re-sell value of the phone tremendously, so when you upgrade to a new phone in a couple o' years, you can sell it as "unlocked" and get anywhere from 20-30% more for it just because of that!

most of the times you just get a code, but in VERY rare occasions they will give you a program...which if that is the case, you MUST upload it to the forum here....share the love my man!!! No but seriously, if it does come with a program, you really should hold onto it and upload it somehwere, it would make MANY phone users VERY happy!

all right... Does someone on this board sells codes? I think 50$ are a lot for a few numbers

the main reason why i want that one is that it is full black. seems like a dumb reason but i like the way it looks.

Got a Vodafone TP2..and questions :-)

Hi all,
Got a TP2 from Vodafone UK this week. Realy liking the device so far, infact it's probably the first WM phone I have used in ages that I have not splattered with apps just to make it usefull!
My main gripe with Vodafone so far is that the colour scheam they have shosen for the TouchFlow is 'Vodafone Red' with black so the message count bubbles are totaly unreadable!
Anyway, one strange this with this device is that I seem to have lost the ability to use HTMP email format and also the ability to flag messages etc... I have been told that this is a Vodafone 'thing' so that you want to use their email services... So does anyone know how to turn this back on ???

Also, did you get it from a Vodafone shop, or was it delivered to your home?
I'm interested in getting one from Voda soon, what deal did you get it on, and did you have to pay much for the handset?

No, it's HTC branded just voda build of the firmware....for now
Got it delivered direct from Voda, Most of the high street shops will not stock them because of their value
No idea on deals because it is on my company package so it works totaly differently

Mine should have been delivered from Vodafone today, but it has been delayed until tomorrow.
I got it from the Vodafone business site and it is available for free on any tariff from £30pm (+VAT) I'm getting 500 mobile minutes, 250 texts, unlimited internet and unlimited landline calls - or I will be when it turns up!! It is shown as coming soon on the site but if you eing up they have them in stock
Someone on Beasty's "A Dream just walked in" thread got theirs yesterday and it has a Vodafone theme and a little Vodafone sign on it apparently. I will let you know what mine is like when I get it

Seems very tempting, I may leave T-mob for this!
Do you know what the Vodafone business support is like if the phone goes faulty? I know with T-mob I got next day swap-out, and wonder if Vodafone offer this too?
Also, do you know if it's supplied unlocked?

Got mine from Vodafone yesterday and it is dual-branded. HTC at top of screen and Vodafone at the bottom. I agree on the colour scheme as I changed my Pro to black, but the calendar is different on the Pro 2 and I can't seem to find a suitable alternative - any suggestions appreciated.
BTW, my initial impressions are that this phone is a BIG improvement on the Pro and well worth the upgrade.
