Unlocked MDA 3 Compact T-Mobile....

what is the best way to get a german version of WM6 on my device??
can i take the update from O2???
is there a better way???
i read a lot of other posts but dont understand everything...
can someone pls help me? i want an easy and secure way to get WM6

If you want an easy and secure way, then just wait until HTC releases the official WM6.
However, i have the WWE rom on my unlocked P3300 (original TMO Dutch). Read through that topic, it's quite straight forward and easy to do.

is there a posisbility to get the WWE rom in german???

I simply installed the O2 Image on my unlocked TMob MDA C III... Works fine and no problems during the upgrade.

Update a MDAcIII with the O2 Orbit WM6 update

Hi!
I want to install on my MDA compact III the O2 Orbit Windows Mobile 6 Update. First I have to CID unlock, then I can Install the update. That shouldn't be the problem (in theory). My question is: Does this update run properly on my MDAcIII? Because it doesn't have the WIFI-Chip the Orbit has.
And I have another Question: How can I save my Original ROM before I update? Is that possible? OR: where can I download the original German T-Mobile MDAcIII ROM?

First of all, i do not know where to get the original T-Mobile ROM, but after some time i did not care anymore and updated. The Update Process works perfectly and is done in about 5 Minutes. The ROM runs without any problems or errors, WiFi appears nowhere, so the System managed to recognize the missing hardware.
I have CID unlocked german MDA Compat 3.. Good Luck and Enjoy WM6

UK Orbit updated to Black&Blue and also Radio Rom Issue

Hi Guys,
I am trying to get BlackBerry working on my XDA Orbit.
I upgraded via the SPL Method and then installed the Version 2 of the Black&Blue.
I then upgraded to the latest GSM Rom 02.93.90
As I could not get BB working I wanted to now install the German o2 Rom as Users reported they got BB working with this.
I again did the SPL Method but now always at 3% the German O2 Rom stops and gives me the Fehler / Error 244
Any hints ?

Sorry to here your problems PT-1......but is there on a offical german o2 rom for you orbit.
Sure it came out while ago.
Just a quick question to.....are you the same Pt-1 from unlockers cos if you are thanks for all the help with my dbox in the past.

Yeah , O2 Germany has officially released wm6 BUT NOT uk O2.
Now I would like to install the German on on my UK Orbit.

Iv got an o2 UK XDA Orbit, works fine with the B&B V2 and V3 rom. Also installed it on my uncles orbit last night, his works fine too.
What problems did you have with the rom? Maybe i can help?

1) IF you have key unlock CID. Sync PPC to PC and Run key Unlock CID.And Update German 02 Rom.
2) Run USPL v0.1 by Pof and Update Again German Rom.

Were do I find key Unlock CID ?

t-mobile official rom

hi all, I found on xda ftp official MDA Compact III German.exe rom. I have MDA Compact III bought from T-Mobile Slovakia. But it is all in english. Is there any english official ROM (can be installed from bootloader)? How can I know that my MDA is different that the one selling in UK? I would like to try WM6 rom but would like to have a way back from bootloader.

Ive got it but its at home and im not
Search the forums hard, it is around but dont worry. I upgraded my UK MDA III to WM6 on the official rom and have no issues at all that prompt a downgrade. Just need to setup your MMS and GPRS settnigs manually.

Your pointing to the MDA 3 and thats a other phone then the MDA Compact 3!!!
The MDA 3 is a older phone.

So it is, Doh!!!
Anyway, does anyone have a link to the MDAC3 uk rom?

mmmm I cannot find it anymore..
Ive used it serveral times when had it on my laptop to recover a bad flash..
So i have to look for it to because when i have a bad flash now i will also have a bad day.

Just to make sure I started the first file I downloaded and it IS the MDA Compact 3 ROM not the MDA 3 ROM. When you run it there is a picture of a MDAC3 on it.
Also it is exactly the same file as the one Bullseye has linked to. So I guess either will do.

Looking for downgrade ROM to 2003se for SX66

I've upgraded to 6.1, but i prefer a more stable ROM.
I couldn't find the 2003se ROM for theSX66 anywhere.
Can someone, please, point me to a source to downgrade my ROM?

you can download 1.42 system rom. I think it`s last one for SX66 with wm 2003se

Can't downgrade
When i try to run the 1.42 ROM, it loses connection on Vista although Mobile device center says Connected. On Windows XP SP2 Activesync (last version) is crashing and by that the upgrade program loses connection.
BootLoader mode doesn't help in this case, unless someone has the ROM so i can copy it to the SD card.
The German version doesn't fit since i have the English version.
any ideas?
