Htc P3300 Bootloader Problem !!!

Hello Everyone. I Am Trying To Istall The Official Wm06 But The Bootloader Does Not Respond. Any Sagestions Pls

U give us very little info to respond to
what pc system r u using? What version activesync, what exactly happens (or doesnt), which rom/language, did u cid unlock it (used uspl), etc.
Be more specific please.

hello again.thanks for the responce. my p3300 has the official wm5. i load the
wm06 (not official) one of the programs that i use in my job dosn't work propertly. so i have to restore in previus wm5. i download fro the site of htc the official wm6. in htc they told me that it is very easy so i could do it my self. i had only to conect the usb cable to the pc (windows xp) and run the file (wm6) i did it but when it start to install the wm6 the activesyng (ver 4.5.0) shut off and stoped the instalation. the screen turn to black. after that the p3300 started again but when i push the voice key and the power key to get in to the bootloader it doesnt work the screen becams to a multi color pixel.the htc told me that i have to replace all the inside hardware. thats all thanks a lot .

Ok, let me see if i understand u correctly, your specs give me no new questions they look ok. U have WM5 and want to run a program (from your work) which needs WM6 (wont run on WM5). HTC told you about the official WM6 update. This wont flash as activesync crashes, right?
With an official Rom you will not need to unlock the CID/SPL with USPL. But this goes only when you stick to your current language. i.e. a german WM5 is not allowed to be flashed into english. To do this you will need to USPL-unlock it 1st.
If the language is the same, it should work. Best is to do a hard reset 1st (2 soft buttons and soft reset, wait and press green/send.) Afterwards hook it on the PC (activesync want to start a newe partnership, click cancel, so u will be connected as guest).
Start the rom upgrade. Activesync should close and bootloader on the ppc will be started. This is a screen with many colours/stripes, which is normal but looks very bad and different from normal bootup.
Then the flashing will start, the screen on the ppc will turn white/grey and a scale will show you the percentage of the flashingprocess (similar to the screen of the pc). Wait patentiently and do not toch the ppc or disconnect (or expect a bricked device).
At the end, the ppc will reboot and take a while (longer then normal bootup) to initiate the boot for the 1st time.
If this wont work, then try to extract the upload file, put the ppc in boatloader mode, connect to pc and start the romupdateutility.exe directly.

i've flashed my HTC P3300 and it was done successfully (using USPL) but the language was Spanish, i searched a lot how to change it to english since i dont understand a word of it.
through one of the forums, i was told to set the SysLang = 1032 in registry to get the english language, i done so, now, the phone is stuck in Welcome (WM6.1) screen and nothing is happening, not even responding to power key.
I tried hard reset, it doesn't work, i tried entering to bootloader, it also doesn't work, also, i am not able to connect it to PC since i guess its not completed up.
Just got stuck with a brick, can you help please. Really needed!!!!!!

Maybe flashing ROM from memory card may help. Search Artemis wiki for micro card ROM flashing.

Hello, I guess I'm having the same problem...tried to flash but something went wong and now I have my htc p3300 blocked with the multicolor screen. It does not work, so I don't understand how I could start flashing rom by memory card. Could you be a little bit more detailed? Thanks in advance

Extract the .NBH file from your prefered ROM upgrade: In windows use winrar (right click) to extract the contents of the exe file. In Linux / MacOS use cabextract (http://www.cabextract.org.uk/) .
Rename the .NBH file to TRINIMG.nbh and copy it to the root folder of your miniSD card.
With miniSD card inserted on the phone, start the bootloader (hold Power button on right side and Camera button at same time and stick with stylus in RESET on bottom).
You should see the screen pictured on the left, confirm flashing on screen by pressing the power button.
Flashing might hang after some time but this is normal. Just wait. Complete flash takes about 30 minutes, so check your battery or connect to charger before the flashing process starts.
When flashing completes soft-reset your device.
Make sure your SD has FAT32 and has no label. There have been reports that if SD has a label the bootloader can not access the TRINIMG.nbh

I test with SD card,when I start the bootloader :
I have a loading message and after 2 sec I have this famous 4 colors

I have the same problem occured since I flashed the ROM on my PPC. Error message was showed 270. I am very afraid my PPC was damaged or not. But I downloaded the factory ROM to my computer and then used the said method to connect PPC to computer, and then flashed the factory ROM into my PPC. It resume normal. It's my experience on today.

I've got the solution for you!
error 270=start block!
copy in memory and open it with filexplorer.
after that you can star the ROM upgrade,but I suggest you SPL Upgrade (like Olipro 1.30) before!
Trust me becouse I had the same error end I have cherched everywhere.
This's the only solution for me!

Guys, magic word is HARD-spl...
Please install hard-spl before flash (you have to do it only once).
Step manually to bootloader before flash.
You will not get error 270!
You will not get error 246!
You will not need sspl!

I had a very similar probleme and then my solution is to use this programe Trinity splxploit who permit to solve this flashing bugg (and save your PDA life).

How can I unbrick my Artemis ?

First, sorry for my english.
Then, my SPV M650 (Artemis) is bricked.
It shows "Searching for SD Card" and still stay on the bootloader screen (the muticolor screen) and nothing else.
On the bootloader scren I can see the IPL and the SPL numbers :
IPL: 3.13.0001
SPL: 3.13.0000
When I connect the phone via an USB cable, on the phone screen I've got a "USB" item appears at bottom left and Windows XP see a pocket PC connected (but not activesynced).
When I tried to reflash it with the RUU tool, I always got an error 260.
The RUU tool can't connect to my phone.
For me, the SPL is not good but I don't know how to change it with my phone in this state.
I tried to flash it directly with a 2GB SD card (FAT32 formated) with only a ".nbh" file at the root directory but it don't work.
If someone got an idea... I will take it with pleasure...

I see from your SPL that you are not using the USPL so your flash image would have to be your original unmodified SPV M650 flash image. The name of the image file must be ARTEIMG.nbh or it will not be found.

The phone is always on the boot loader but the flash with the original Orange ROM modified my IPL and my SPL (only after the second flash).
New IPL: 1.84.0001
New SPL: 1.84.0000
The flash not take 30min as follows in the wiki.
The steps during the falsh are :
- Checking SD Card
- Validation
- Formating BINFS (1s)
- Reading from SD (5min)
- Verifying certificate (5s)
- Flashing EXTROM (1s)
- Flashing GSM CODE (1s)
- Flashing first phase OS (10s)
- Reading second OS from SD! (5min)
- Flashing second phase OS (3s)
- Success. Press any key.
=> Back to bootloader.
So the phone still bricked.

It seems that you have now a working IPL, so now try to flash the USPL, after that your phone should have SPL 1.11.000 (or so )

From SD card it's not work. I get a "Invalid certificate" error.
And for flash a new radio or ROM version, I will need the USPL...

You need HTC assistence! You have damaged the SPL and now the phone is died!
You can't power on, you can't start bootloader, you can't do anything...

I hope you find a solution, I don't know if it's a way to write the rom without bootloader (something like JTAG)...
I've read a way in the assistence manual, but you need a particolar sim card...

Rom upgrade problem

Last night I wanted to install the official new dutch Vodafone rom for my diamond, from 1.37 to 1.97, so I started reading on the forums.
First I did a hard SPL, and now I have a SPL-1.30. Olinex, so I think that is right.
After the hard SPL I tried installing the RUU, but every time it starts installing, the progressbar stays at 0% and after some minutes, i get an 262 error. I tried it at several PC's, XP, Vista, Windows 7. So that is not the problem.
Anyone has an idea how to fix this?

Sounds like u did everything right....but when flashing, using your pc is the last solution. Always flash Radios or Roms using the internal method.
Got this from Suiller:
COOKING ROMs & Radios from phone =-
1. open from your PC the rar or zip archive and extract only the BIG .nbh file
2. rename as DIAMIMG.NBH
3. copy the renamed file into the root dir of your "Storage Card" or "Internal Storage" (the one of 4Gb... NOT to the internal phone memory!)
4. soft reset your device and within 3 seconds push together the Vol_Down + Back button (the one on the right above the hangup button) and keep pressed until the boot loader appears (the one with the color stripes)
5. soon as you see the bootloader stop to press those poor buttons
6. a very simple gray menu will appear asking you what to do, simple press the power button to perform the ROM/Radio upgrade
7. while the upgrade runs be patient and don't press again the power button, reset the device or play with it until it finishes, when finished a message "UPDATE SUCCESS" will appear, now you can safely reset your device
8. who prefer can perform a hard reset after the fresh cook (soon after reset simply press Vol_Down + Circle button, then when you see another simple gray menu choose Vol_Up to confirm format), even if this has no-sense because internal memory is pre-formatted during flash, but... there is always a but... for some unknown "scientific" reason sometimes an hard-reset can save time & headache
I only hard reset after a new Rom has been installed.........I don't do this for Radios.

I have the vodafone 1.97 rom on my computer, but it is an exe file. And I can't unrar it. So where can I find that big.nbh file?

I placed the nbh file, and i called it DIAMIMG. But when i boot, i get a grey screen that says loading and doesn't goes away.
Help needed!

Change the hard-spl to 1.93 olinex and your problem is over, has worked for me with all roms so far. And when you flash, put your phone in bootloader mode manualy and your flashes works every time.
And if the rom is a exe file you can forsure unzip it!! use right tool for that, ex. winzip and you have your .nbhfile
If the file is DIAMIMG.nbh you can rename it to RUU_signed.nbh and fla**** with udK.s Custom RUU

Maybe it's a noob question but where can i find the 1.93 version. And can i just install it over the SPL 1.30 version?
And how do i put it in manual boot?

Manual boot
Volumedown + reset (hold it down for a while, and the 4 color screen will appear)
Put manual boot only when flash rom!! not hard-spl

Not able to Flash a new ROM !? Please help Me

Hey ho guys. I have a question and I hope somebody can help me.
A few Days ago I flashed this ROM:

(with OliNex Hard SPL and 1.00.25.05 Radio)
Now I wanted to flash another ROM

But now I got a Problem. Since I flashed the RTT Xtreme Rom, I am not able to flash another ROM. After the Softreset while flashing, the Mobile Centre of Win7 cant connect to my Diamond anymore.
Hard SPL is possible to flash but Radio and all other ROMS are not flashable -.-
Anyone knows what I can do? I tried the Original O2 Rom but even this one wont work.
I hope somebody knows what do do without killing my phone, cause the Xtreme ROM sux

- connect your Diamond to PC in Storage Mode
- rename file .nbh in diamimg.nbh
- copy diamimg.nbh in in your Diamond
- disconnect your Diamond
- press together "Volume Down", "Back" and "Reset" until appears Boot screen called USB Trigger Mode;
- press Power to go next...wait the process until to "Update Complete"
- reset and wait the Automatic installations
