Damaged parts in my prophet - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 Accessories

I previously bought a used prophet.
It was working fine when suddenly it randomly wouldn't take any touch command on the screen (when i click with stylus nothing happens)
I opened it trying to fix it, found out the flat cable between the board and the screen was previously damaged and soldered.
Now i ended up with a damaged flat cable and a damaged battery contacts part (the part that has the battery contacts on the board) which broke off.
Do you guys think I can find these parts? and is the flat cable a replaceable part or do i have to change the whole screen?
Any suggestion is most appreciated

You can get the flat cable separately (no need to change the LCD if it is still working).
The battery contact on the PCB will be a problem. How handy are you with a soldering iron?
PM me for more details.

Repair USB connector; possible or not?

Hello all.
I dropped my phone pretty hard the other day. I dropped it many times before so I didn't think there would be any damage besides that the battery popped out.
Once I got home and wanted to charge my Artemis I noticed that my USB connector is gone!
Well, I found myself a spare one on eBay, but as I looked at the connections on the circuit board of my Artemis I started to doubt the possibility to put another USB connector in there.
Some pins seem to be damaged real bad but not all of them, and then again I only want to be able to charge my phone and will not use the USB connector for syncing or using a headphone.
Can someone take a look at the picture I took and see if its still possible to attach a new USB connector to my Artemis and if it will at least be able to charge the battery?

Many thanks!
Repair of the USB mini port
Hey,
Could you send a picture with more sharpness, because i can't see it that well.
I already see that you have been soldering on top (close to your serial number).
Kind Regards
Bramatus
As long as you have got the correct connector then the way you do it is to remove the solder that is on the pads on the board and apply solder PASTE to the pins of the connector, then with a very COOL soldering iron gently touch the pins just long enough to flow the solder on.

PCB Connector Replacement

A few month's ago I'd ordered a LCD screen replacement for my incredible, and so when I got back from work o immediately took out the LCD from the package and started taking out my old broken. For me it was my first time experience replacing an LCD phone screen, anyways back to what I was going to say was when I unplugged the connector for the screen and the motherboard itself, after attempt to plug the connectors back together; the display connector plugged in perfect while the connector for the motherboard didn't do so well. The white piece that covers the PCB Connector, it tears a little bit off and I'd tried to power on the phone, meanwhile it didn't I tried again and things got worst. So I search online for a PCB Connector and see one, so I decided to and try to rip off the PCB Connector and plan to order the PCB Connector. So the part to attempt ripping off the PCB Connector didn't go so well, and stop there before things got worst. Any suggestions how I can replace that? I can't just leave my phone in my room and have to cover in dust. I need my phone back, how can I fix these? I know this thread seems long but I tries but it details for you guys.

Multiple repair assistance

Somehow I broke the white connector tab that attaches the digitizer to the left side of the motherboard. I've opened it 200 times before but this time the tab came loose from the motherboard completely. Does anyone have any experience with this issue.? Also the antenna port in the upper part of the motherboard just pulled off when i pulled up the connector so now that is completely unsoldered from the board. im starting to think this phone is done. any body have any recommendations? its basically just unsoldered connections..

Replaced touchscreen doesn't work

Hi,
my Tablet fell to the floor and broke the lcd and also the digitizer. I bought an assembly replacement (lcd+digitizer) and replace it. I connected all, but when I powered on the tablet, the display works but the touchscreen doesn't. I tried many times to unplug and replug the flat cable of the digitizer but it doesn't work.
I found this thread on another forum , that talks about a similar problem on another Asus device. I think it could be related because at some point there was burning smell, but now I don't know what to do. Can somebody help?
Thanks

HTC 10 Fpc connector

Hi, I've a HTC 10 that I changed its battery because the previous one got swollen and cause the screen to break and I haven't tried it till I got a replacement battery.
When I've plugged the new battery I tried testing the phone it does turn on but a black screen and the tactile works normally, After some diagnosis on the motherboard I've noticed that the fpc connector is broken and one of the upper pins was ripped.
Is the damage on the fpc connector causing the screen to stay black or should I just get a new screen replacement?
or can I make contact between the pin and the screen ribbon without changing the fpc connector?
Looking forward to hear your suggestions.
