Hello,
I have installed the JUVS_HTC_Home_Color plugin that is really nice but in the top bar appears the small clock and I would like to change by a battery indicator (I already have a big clock with the htc home plugin.)
Other thing is how to replace the "home" word by the operator name ... if its possible.
thanks
To change to battery set hklm\software\microsoft\shell\ShowTitalBarClock to 0 and softreset.
Operator should already show if not try reinstalling.

If there is 0, it shows battery indicator, if there is 1, it shows clock. But what shall I do if I don't want any of them ?

Use HTC Home Customisation (search for HHCv08b) to change this to your preferred setting (show either one of them, both or none are the options as I recall).

If You mean setting "HTCHC --> Options --> Titlebar Clock --> Enable/Disable" in HTC Home Customizer, I think it works the same way as changing "ShowTitleBarClock" value in the registry
I haven't found any setting that allows You to disable both indicators in HTC Home Customizer :-(
The solution I found is to use Schaps Adv config, it has option to disable both indicators - but it seems that removed indicators are replaced with rectangle which partially masks volume icon, what makes this solution not very smooth ...
So I let there battery indicator - it is useless there, but I don't know about better solution

Guys....
I've been searching this forum & wiki as well......but I couldn't find working tweak to hide my clock on titile bar. because I already have HTC Home, so I dont need the clock.
I tried registry
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Showtitilebarclock = 0
it only replaced my clock with battery indicator
or
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TBOpt = 0
my phone couldn't run.......must be deleted, then reset again & my phone runs well again.
I just need to hide clock & battery icon on my title bar.
FYI, using WM6 (Dopod Asia) AKU 0.3.1
Anyone can help me?
I use SKTools and Tweaks2k2 (they´re shareware) for all my personal settings and they work for me,but you can try out these two apps.
Bye
The Tweak UI didnt work on my device.....the advance configuration worked with error.
See my attached picture.....red circle......seems I cannot see my signa; bar as well now....
I dont know about SK tools......will try it soon
Hmmm....I do not know what to tell you....maybe it´s a matter of the rom,all these apps that I´m mentioning work great for me.
Sorry,I am not a good troubleshooter.
Dont worry...thanks for the help....I really appreciate it
Same here man

the circle is exactly what i did with any Tweaking programes, no matter Advanced Config, SKTools, HTC Hack......i guess there must be at least time, batter or date show on the circle side...
thanks

Yeah...I agree with your opinion, I tried SKTools....not worked.....
so...there is no solution for my question......
Does anybody know a trick to disable the battery status? I want neither the clock nor the Battery symbol.
Matthias
settings->today->items-> un check them!
No no no, I know what he means, I want to get rid off them too. The top bar, I would like to only see a clock instead of those symbols!!!
Requires a registry tweak but an easy way to do it is via this app - advance config.
If you've got a home cooked ROM it might already be installed otherwise grab it from this thread
Page 2 has settings for the top/start bar.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317070
that´s what i am searching for, but the tweak doesn´t work correct. it disturbs the antenna symbol, it cuts one half.
I got the same issue? Any solutions?
I found this HTC Diamond Dialer skin at the other XDA section. It is very beautiful and I have tested it on my Hermes MRH ROM. Works well. You can check this out at:

Hey thanks. I just put it on my phone. Looks great.
Nevermind... it killed my battery icon. I removed the dialer and it came back. Guess I have to stay away from this skin.

Just reinstall the battery icon cab. Installing a dialer almost always messes up my batter icon.
I havent been able to find the new 1 incriment battery icon cab of the Diamond ROM.

If you do find it, let me know. I've just changed to CRC's 11.2 ROM with HTC Home, and I like it a lot. I would like a working battery indicator on the toolbar, and I haven't so far been able to find one that works for me.

If you're using my ROM, then you just need to change the registry to enable the battery meter on the toolbar... It will already update it in 1% increments...
the option is TBOpt etc - it's in the Hermes Registry wiki page.

Thank you for that, I'll find out how to do it. I'm guessing I need to install a registry editor, I don't remember one installed by default.
Thank you for your ROM, by the way. Three days in it's looking rock solid, and running everything I want quite quickly. It's nice work.....and sorry to hear of your loss. Not what I'd choose as a splash loading screen, but you're entitled to a little indulgence for your excellent work.
Thanks for the advice. It wasn't my intention to trouble you, I'm sure you have higher things to deal with, than the likes of me.
CRC, if running your rom, and if I installed my AT&T settings cab (which messes with the 3G icon as well.. havent found one that doesnt), will it mess up the 1 percent battery icon in the top bar? will it just make oit revert back to 10 percent intervals?

HTC Home should bring up the battery indicator on the top bar after you re boot. Or am I mis interpreting your question?

I needed to install a registry editor (I used total commander) to add a "TBOpt" string, with a value "1". I then powered down and soft rest the device.
I now seem to have a functioning battery indicator on the top bar (I also turned off the clock, given that I have HTC home with a big clock).
Thank you to you and CRC for your help.

Show Time,Date,both or Battery on top bar at Today screen
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\]
Time:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 / "TBOpt"=1
Date:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 / "TBOpt"=2
Both:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 / "TBOpt"=3
Nothing:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 / "TBOpt"=0
Battery:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=0 / "TBOpt"=1
And if you really want to have BOTH Time AND Battery indication on top bar at Today screen, then SPB Pocket Plus 4.0 application can do it for you. It creates its own indication of the battery status on the top bar and it can use the standard symbol from the OS or even better approach of displaying the battery level as a few pixel wide colored bar on the very top.

im not sure if this fixes my problem, ill try to explain
i flashed dvha79_ddt's 19965 diamond rom, which had the 1% battery status increments.. then installed this dialer (which i like the best), and it changed the battery icon. I'm trying to figure out if its possible to revert back to the incremental battery status icon and still keep the dialer, if not im pretty sure if i uninstall it i'll get it back. thanks again

I had the same problem and treid to uninstall the dialer. Remove programs gave an error that it did not uninstall the dialer properly. I rebooted and the incremental battery meter returned, and the dialer was still in place. I know this does not help, but it does show that the meter and the dialer can co-exist. Now only to find out why, or you could experiment with installing and uninstalling the dialpad
I installed the skin also and had the same problem with the battery icon, all I did with schaps advance config is put the time on the top(i usually keep it that way anyway) and ticked show power icon on the bottom tray. Seems to be working for me, just don't have that % indicator.
Hey guys,
I'd like to have date & time on EVERY screen (not just home).
(I've just installed Josh's Manilla 2D ROM, so I'm using WM6.1)
I know how to add it using registry edits (or tweaker apps), but this has 2 problems:
1) I want date format to be "d/M", but if I set that in regional settings, TouchFlo 2D follows that format too. (Which I don't want)
2) It's only displayed when I'm on the Today page.
The date/time function in pBar 1.5 (which I'm also using) DOES display on all screens (not just Today), but...
this causes another problem; pBar's date&time are ON TOP OF my speaker icon. Is there a way to insert some space to fix this?
I promise I used the site search. Infact, I've just spent the last 40 minutes looking for the solution myself.
im using crc's rom v12.9 at the moment and am able to get the time on all of the programs that have a bar at the top. whether this can be done on the rom you are using i dont know. i made it display in the title bar of programs on the clock menu in the settings where you can tick to say show it in all title bars.
i dont whether this is what your looking for.
hope you find a way to do it
you can get it by editing the registry

I just tried it, and with both settings it does show on every screen. But, it cuts off the 9 in the year, so today is 5/18/0.
Hey Boog, thanks for trying it, mate.
Yes, the date is cutoff for me too, but it also doesn't show on every screen.
Settings -> clocks and alarms -> more -> check the box to show it in every screens
personally i have mine set up to show the battery on the today screen and the clock on every other screen using the below settings:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell]
"TBOpt"=dword:00000001 (when the clock is shown it shows only time)
"ShowTitleBarClock"=dword:00000000 (Battery is shown on today screen)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskBar]
"ConsistentClockOrBattery"=dword:00000000 (option for today screen is not consistent across all programs)
"LimitedClock"=dword:00000000 (shows clock on all programs)

I have the HTC Pro2 from Vodafone. Somehow the small clock in the top bar has changed to analogue but I can’t change it back to digital. I think normally on windows mobile you select and hold the clock then the option to change it appears, but when I do that it opens the notification screen?
cheers
Glenn
you'll find the corresponding registry entry here:
hkcu\software\microsoft\shell
even easier:
press and hold on the little clock, then you can change from analog to digital or vice versa
Thanks Mesquire that did the job - you wont beleive how wound up I have been getting trying to change it back. I had to reset for it to take affect though, is there a way to reload without the reset buton?
You could try to disable the notification manager so it reverts back to windows mobile original - that way you maybe able to switch the display like heiks has suggested which is how older devices behave.

So which registry value is it under this path? And what do the corresponding values do?
