Hi all, i got a little big trouble , i recenly upgraded my hp ipaq hx2415 with the latest aku 3.52 by khozura but something has gone wrong ... it doesn't tur on ... i can just reach the pre-bl by removing battery and pressing contacts and itask keys ... when i try to upgrade it tells me unknown language upgrade cannot continue .. i know u would advice me to try the universal bootloader tool .. but the point is that i've just tried it no problem with connecting to my wceusbh port but ... it just opens mtty and the terminal window just stucked wid no operation doing ..... help me i don't know what to do ... i would try to hack the hpruu.exe to avoid language checkin' and go straight to rom upgrade because only hpruu seems to be able performing the upgrade .... i'm lost help me thanks ..............

i got a qtek 1010 with mobinil (egypt) (locked to the provided i guess :roll: ) ... i tried upgrading it to 2003SE through activsync installer .... but i failled , every time the upgrade slide starts, it simply soft resets and the originial rom (2002) is back ... ? ... i did the same procedure (with the same rom.exe and the same cradle) but on another device (XDA O2) and it worked very smoothely , so i guess the problem is in the qtek hardware itself or it s a sort of security protection from Mobinil .. ???????? :?: :?: :?:
any help would be greatly appreciated

i forgot to mention the error message that appear right after the soft reset occurs :
error 008pen port error
can not open a COM/USB port. please use deevice manager on pc to make sure that the COM/USB port is available and working properly

Anyone had any success with an ipaq 2410 as every attempt at it has resulting in hanging at formatting PS right at the end.
If anyone could provide a guide that would enable me to use WM6 on the 2410 Id be grateful.

I'm having trouble to upgrade my hx2410 to WM5. I successfully connect/sync my hx2410 with my pc thru bluetooth. But the upgrade process always stops at 0% and says to reset the hx2410. I tried many time and it is still the same problem . Anybody knows what might be the problem i'm facing? I wanted to install iGuidance for PPC on it and I need WM5. Help please.

You can't update device through Bluetooth - it's impossible
You will need a USB cable or Cradle.

I am lately frustrated with my ASUS 320 that i bought in Italy from the cellphone provider TIM Italy.I was tol it 'll operate in English however the whole thing is in Italian , i just can hear you folks telling me to got it changed, yes unfortunately its a bit lately for that and quite honest the phone with the functions seems great.
So this is what i am trying to do and where i am failing.
From several memeber (thanks to all of them ) i tried flashing the WWE in diferent ways .First i have been told to use the chinese firmware's autorun.exe (aparently this ain't checking any version ) and using the WWE's bin file in the same folder and flash it.This method unfortunately failed and gives the message that i need to ensure that the language has to be the same as the phone ones.During soft reset at the startup screen , it fails again.
So at this point ASUS told me to sent it to their service center and to be installed with the english version of the windows mobile 6.1 , they said its a licensing thing and i had to pay for it.
So i am really at my last nerve i guess , is there anyone , anyone who can help me out here.Once again the device is from the italian cellphone service company TIM italia the language is Italian and i want to change (flash ) it to English start up screen gives
" ROM 4.10.0_0718_ITA_ITA"

Thanks for the reply , but unfortunately thats the sit where i am getting my ROM's and , again , tried it this morning and still the same problem happens.It tells me to make sure that its the same language , or durung soft reset (holding volume button down while resetting) it saiys failed .

download the rom from HP support site, and re-flash it on a non-vista computer --- should work.
How can I update the ROM of Ipag 914c to change the language.
My original language of my phone is French so I want change it into English(international).

Same question. Change language. This is not possible by Hp update NL->WWE.
I've extracted flash.nbf file from setup then cut the first 3431 bytes then copied to sd card as flash.dio.

What keys i should hold for sdloader mode volup-ok-reset didn't work for me. Only when i press side wheel with ok then i was get is Dowloading Qualcomm Image at top of screen then nothing happen...
please give some advice what can i do to change language.

I upgraded my Ipaq 914c with original ROM from HP and i have same results. DEAD.
I do the same mistake...
problem is windows Vista. So, please charge you phone to min 40% and try to update with original ROM from HP site but on Windows XP.
Flash is passed and you phone has been alive....

and one more thing i had the same problem in hp rw6815 so one of our forum member gave me an RUU patched which really worked an it was very easy an effective so if anyone can provide sthe same kind of RUU patched for the ipaq 914c i be really very greatful to him

I've bricked my 914C during an upgrade (for up. in italian sp43440.exe) i've forgotten my sd card inside and now the device became a brick!
When i turn on the 914 the writing "RUU...." appears and remains stuck on this screen. When I want to turn off the phone i must to remove the battery.
I tried to follow the following guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=511548 but i don't have XP, only Vista, which doesn't work with the information reported.
Please help me!

we have " HP IPAQ hx2410 " with WM2003 CE 1.10.0 and i upgraded with this window 5.2 it upgraded successfully but i m stuck on the first loading screen. its stuck when loading complete i have tried every thing such as boot-loader thing and also cant downgrade it . . . so kindly plzzz any one tell me how can i go to my initial state on wm2003 ASAP.

Did you follow the procedure exactly for this machine that Tommy talks about in his thread for wm6.1? I have upgraded many hx2410s and you will always get stuck on the loader screen unless you upgrade using the pack he recommends.
