Artemis Windows Mobile 6 NLD (Dutch)

This ROM is based on the official German O2 ROM:

- Translated the ROM to Dutch (NLD) with the WM6 EMU ROM!
- removed the O2 operator package (Settings and O2 Theme)
- The Extended ROM Installs now
- Added HTC Task Manager
- Added WM5 Storage
- Added PIM Backup

So did you create a new .nbh or just upload the OS? If yes how did you do it? I tried some stuff with bepe yesterday, but since he doesn't have the device he can't tell me how to do it exactly. I'd like to have mine "de-O2ed" too and put certain apps on there too.

There is also no wireless in the Dutch rom! BT and Call butons are there, but NO wifi!

Okay used the Dutch-made version for some days now.. It's quite buggy, weird text usage (e.g at the Mic AGC control option), missing buttons, lot's of shortcuts which need to be manually set and problems with Messenger which makes it unable to show online contacts after some time (might be related to backing up/restoring stuff).. So far the WWE release is cleaner and better working. I guess I'll either go back to WM5 for now or wait for an official WWE release from O2 UK/Dopod.

Is Artemis ROM kitchen available anywhere like Hermes ROM Kitchen? Probably it's good time to cook something my own ;-)

This rom made my dutch T-Mobile compact III unable to boot, how can this be? It's CID unlocked by imei-check.co.uk (any way to check this btw?)

I have the same problem need dutch T-Mobile compact III NL rom

tried flashing my CID locked compact3 to, bricked it in the process. I don't think there is an original dutch rom out there sadly enough
now i have to wait until it gets back from the repair department

T-mobile english rom worked for me, but is that only cause i have cid unlocked?

No, that wasn't to you, the guy who blatantly asked...where did you get this.
BTW - I flashed USPL to my phone, tried the RUU version of this update and it said the file is corrupt. I take that to mean the file is not meant for my phone. The first of the two downloads has a file called OS.nb. That must be where I need to focus my attention. I will update if there is anything new....

Am I being super dumb, all I see is one download of a rar file containing os.nb0
What's the RUU version you speak of?

Guess I am the retard, because I tried using the os.nb0 file with several different RUU's and none of them could open the file. I changed the extension to .nb and .nbh just for good measure with no luck.

Hi all just to let you all know tested this rom and all ok on my sim free (expansys) P3300.
I tried the "PDAVIET_Black&Blue_v3_WWE_Full" first-this was ok but phone would not switch on today, so i was thinking og going back to bepe's wm6 and saw this rom.
I used Artemis_USPL first, then the ROMUpdateUtility.exe supplied in the ARTE_WM6_FLASHER download quoted here (flasher for SuperCID devices only).
My details from device are now as below.
Rom version: 1.38.0.0 WWE
Rom date: 02/15/07
Radio version: 02.93.90
Protocol version: 4.1.13.42
There are not ext rom applications loaded with the ARTE_WM6_FLASHER (2nd link), and not alot installed in wm6, but my memory shows 47.89 free storage and 25.61 free program space.
Keep up the good work XDA....

When my p3300 starts the below info is displayed.
IPL 3.04.0001
SPL 1.11.0000
GSM 02.93.90
OS 1.38.0.0
I still have the htc start up wallpaper from the "PDAVIET_Black&Blue_v3_WWE_Full" rom , so will reflash original p3300 rom (ART_HTCWWE_11240501_026790_WWE_Ship), then run above again.
Will let you know outcome, fingers crossed...

Core WM6 with no radio update or EXT Rom applications.

Still no ext rom loading or any apps, but wm6 ok free memory same (47.89 storage-26.24 program).

After testing this rom I would advise everyone to use the version ARTE_WM6_3_5, the first release v3 looks like a cut down version of wm6.
The reason its fast is that loads of programs etc removed, no quickgps, no bluetooth explorer etc... also new radio stack is old version to?
Re flashing version 3.5 now which includes the missing apps.

This Rom OS only.Applications in this Rom not new but verry nice OS.May be i will Rebuild OS in v3 B&B in next week...!

Like the tittle says im new with all this. So i searched for Touchflo buth then i saw there where more roms then that. Anyway now i whanna now wich is the best ROM for my HTC P3300 Device ?

- Dutch ROM touched by HTC Touch
Please let me now wich you guys think it's the best one for my HTC P3300. Also i have read that i must use Artemis_USPL, is that compatible with the Windows Vista Ultimate ? And how much change is there that i brick my device when flashing a custom ROM ? Thnx in advance

Vanilla 2.0 has bioscroll (scrolls up & down), but it doesnt have the Cube (left to right).
I've been using Vanilla 2.0 & love it, however, im currently trying B&B v4.3.
It seems ok & stable enough. And it has touchflow with a great media gallery application

I've tested all the roms (nearly 4 or 5 days each) and no doubt the best roms are the Black&Blue.
If I were you I would upgrade your device to the new Black&Blue 4.3, is the one i'm having now in my device and it is very fast and complete.
Don't forget to uspl it first.

It's depending what you like. I like debian on my computer - but why should you like it ?
One likes a clean ROM without any Software, the other one wants everything included.
IMO you can't say which one's the best - you just can say which one's the best for you..
they're all good, depending what you want.

you don't have to install v4, just USPL and then 4.3...
isn't Mobile Device Center the "new" activesync in Vista ? No idea...using xp...
but there is one thing there is absolutely no discussion:
GUINNESS. Nothing else than pure black extra cold Guinness.
Knowing what matters ....btw: There is a thread about Guinness here...

Soft reset - just put the stylus in the little hole or shut down by holding the power button for a few seconds or download Softreset, or download PSshutXP or throw your Artemis at the wall...

USPL and ActivSync do work on vista.
BTW the "beers" your saying are best, aren't beers at all! Heineken and Jupiler are largers, and Guiness is a stout! get some Old Peculiar!

I have O2 Xda Exec (G4) and when i get it i upgread it on WM6.. As everyone know there is no WM6 with Video Call function, so i decide to downgrade my ROM.. i try many WM5 rom include this one but i cann't use my Video Call (no for incomming no for outgoing calls) please if someone knows how to fix this problem HELP.. will be glad.. thx

Try changing the radio version you are using. I am personally using 1.17 which seems fast and stable. Have a look here for a list of downloadable radio roms

Kitchen Version? Hmmm Why not just use hypercore to unpack it, then modify, then rebuild. It really IS very easy to do. Especially using Leo's instructions on page 3 or 4.

Yes you can. I use an XDA Exec as well. You can simply flash back to the original XDA rom if you do not like it. Original 02 rom downloads are here

I love your dirrect link when answering the question, it make me feel easy to update what I need.
Btw, I try your rom today and I have error when finishing the update step. It's seem like your autorun config on ext rom is has missing file 'coz defferent "MP_Enable_VT_RTPlugin....." file name.
As I don't know how to fix it , I try to copy your nk.nbf dan Helmi's ms_.nbf on same folder than use Helmi's MaUpgradeUt_noID to update my device. And luckly I get your ROM without matrix theme and empty ext rom.
But I still have "no big deal" problem about strange O2 splash screen from Helmi ROM on my MDA PRO device.
Could anybody give me an easy way advice to fix it ...????

Hmmm an extended rom error? Ok I will look into this as I have tested it.
The rom is set up not to change your previous splash screen as I simply didn't know what splash to put in there.
To enable the matrix type today screen select htc_matrix in the today settings.

So true. I apologize for the download headache. I'm not sure what happened to the file hosted on MediaFire. It worked a while back when I needed it. I tried to download it yesterday, and I also found it to be corrupt.
Anyways, Chanvi93 is correct, and I missed your asking for 6.1. I just assumed I had read 6.0 Pro since it was the latest, and 6.1 was not made available.
I apologize. If you still want the 6.0 Pro, I will do my best to recover the file for you.

Agreed, many are MUCH better.
But it's always good to have the original on hand just in case of a failed flash. The OEM can return your phone to a usable handset again.

Tested the gps, just standing outside my door.
Started at 16.27
Logged on at 16.30
Just 3 minutes.
Used to take 5-8mins.. wow..

What's the performance like on the official 6.0 available in your download files?
Is it worth me flashing and testing or does it come with a headache?

No headaches that I know of. It is a little heavy with unneeded software, but it's funnly you asked today. I just flashed it last night to clear a bad flash I had done. It was fun to see it running on my phone again.
Keep in mind, it does overwrite your Hard SPL, so you will need to do that again BEFORE flashing another ROM, it overwrites your boot screens, and it does overwrite your radio with 1.46.70.11. I've left that radio on for a while, and I seem to be getting quite fast GSP acquisition. Could be in my mind, but it does somehow seem different. Also, the OS moved quite swiftly compared to the latest ones I've been messing with. It's back to the OLD Home screen, but you will probably install SPBMS anyways.
If you flash it, and need Hard SPL help, I've got a small download that takes the hassle out of it. It's just Olipro 1.20 and SSPL_TRIN.exe in a zip file, but it's easy to use. It's possible that I MIGHT be able to CAB it up for you, but I have not tried that yet.

Edit: Remember, the download is large, but it does include NEW IPL, SPL, Splash Screen 1 & Splash Screen 2, ExtROM, Radio ROM, and OS. So, the OS itself is really not taking up too much room. I'll post Free Mem and Space in a few minutes. I'm flashing now...

Hmmm.. sounds like I'll give it a go.
Does it come with an inbuilt Task Manager? (If one has to install a task manager after the flash, it doesn't show up on Spb Shell screen.)
Also, after flashing it, I just execute the Rom Update Utility in your Olipro 1.20 file and that sorts out the Hard SPL for future flashes, yes?

Damn, the flash crashed at 5% and the recovery does not work.
My device is stuck on tricolour and will not active sync with my pc, which means I can't flash.
Any ideas?
