Okay used the Dutch-made version for some days now.. It's quite buggy, weird text usage (e.g at the Mic AGC control option), missing buttons, lot's of shortcuts which need to be manually set and problems with Messenger which makes it unable to show online contacts after some time (might be related to backing up/restoring stuff).. So far the WWE release is cleaner and better working. I guess I'll either go back to WM5 for now or wait for an official WWE release from O2 UK/Dopod.

I have the same problem need dutch T-Mobile compact III NL rom
tried flashing my CID locked compact3 to, bricked it in the process. I don't think there is an original dutch rom out there sadly enough
now i have to wait until it gets back from the repair department
T-mobile english rom worked for me, but is that only cause i have cid unlocked?

After an 12 hour odyssey with the new t-mobile rom (1.20...), I finally decided to switch back to my original german qtek rom. Unfortunately I didn't dumped my original one - so I've called a friend who owns a qtek 9000 too. I was lucky - tomorrow he's going to sale it on ebay...
I could dump the qtek rom, encode it and load it onto my own. There is just one problem: the original install app will not work. You have to use the noID-version. Don't worry if the routine fails - try again.
The worst case: the qtek gets in bootloader mode - good for you. The rom updating will work seamless now. If you get stuck into that bootloader mode, just remove the "ms_.nbf" & "nk.nbf" and perform only the radio update again - after a hardreset the good old gtek splash screen will show up and you'll be fine or lets just say: welcome to your new mda pro without any branding stuff (you'll love the dialer skin!)

available RAM with various ROMs

I just wonder if e.g. the qtek rom leaves more RAM? I am desperately looking for more RAM, there is never enough. I have the new t-mobile rom, it is much more stable than the old one, but the RAM situation has not changed. I have 1800 contacts, and when I reset the MDA Pro I will start with roughly 15 MB, very soon they will be down to 10 (once the mail has been checked) and from then on...I cannot make a video call, I can hardly use the camera, I can just about open a web page and than I am down to 2....I don't know why other people have no problems with this, but for me....I need 20-30 MB more...
Is there a solution to this? Is at least qtek rom a bit more generous?
Looks like that link is broken. I can't open it. It shows permission denied. Where else can i get german ROM update. Or Russian.

Can I use a Qtek rom on a IMATE jasjar?

agustinpac: yes, it is possible.
e.g. I installed qtek on t-mobile..
what you need is the MANoID installer that will make that the device is not going to check if the upgrade is "legitimate" or not.
If you have an extracted complete set of installation files in one directory
you just exchange the original installer with this NoID installer that a very proficient member of this forum wrote.
and then you should put the device in bootloader mode by makin a reset while pressing the light button and the power button together, then connect to the pc and start the installation by launching the noid installer.
after 20 min you are done. by the way: this way you can mix also rom, ext rom and radio versions from different origin and release version.

Hello agustinpac,
I was the one who uploaded the QTEK spanish ROM as this was the ROM installed in my device, but i needed an english one. I'm now using the JASJAR and i think the O2 is better but have no time to flash back to O2. Or maybe wait for the new ROMS which are esupposed to be out next moth at latest. Never tried T-Mobile.
There are 2 QTEK spanish files. one is the rom update which updates ROM and Radio, and the other is the extended ROM which you have to install manually. To do this, Unlock ExtROM( search how to do this). Extract Extended ROM Zip file to a directory in your SD card. Then use Total commander and copy these files to the extended_rom partition. Hard Reset. This should do it.
Contact me if you need more help. Also, if you install this ROM, your hardware keyboard will be Spanish, meaning "Ñ" is one of the keys on the keyboard (under the K key) and also other keys will be remapped. If you need to remap the hardware keyboard to english, tell me also. The software keyboard will display and work as a spanish keyboard so no problems with this one.

i think you will find that it isnt available yet..
Hi - its possible to dump the rom but to make the dump into anything flashable is not easy. The official o2 uk wm6 rom is not out yet. What would be interesting is could you tell us the os number on the boot screen - will Be 3.400 or 3.500 etc.. Also the build no in settings\about please. Any new apps? everything working ok? - german o2 rom midlet manager was not working and mms missing. Screenshots would be good if possible.

Thanks for the pictures. As i thought much the same as the o2 german rom. I can see the ipl,spl has gone up to 3 - interested to know if that works with pof's uspl - if it doesnt people will have problems reflashing - i would just flash the os until its confirmed that uspl works with this ipl,spl.
btw does the orbit boot faster than with wm5 and what camera version does it use?

I made a translation of MunRus Indigo to Swedish for private use, but i hope it can be to a public good also. Please note that this has been made just for fun so expect that THERE ARE probably bugs.
No changes made, pure Indigo except adding of swedish language and translation of HTC Homeplug, templates, autocorrection and swedish dictionary. I have not changed keyboard since i use letter recognizer. Letter recognizer has been accented-character enabled to support åäö.

Regarding the TomTom issue I dont know. Since its the same ROM as Indigo, its the same problems or possibilities at that ROM. Suggest you check information regarding this in the Indigo thread.

Have you unlocked your device? Also, its prefered you install hard-spl. The installer is the same for all roms and has nothing to do with the rom itself, so if you have proplems with this, you should have the same problem with all installers, for example with the original indigo. What do you mean by stalling in inactive mode? Do you mean it shows the color-screen but doesnt flash? In that case there are plenty of solutions to this on the forum.
I managed to get the device started up again.
After the restart when flashing there is just a black, but lit up screen. No activity on the status led diode.
Booting shows "No GSM" and then stucks at logo, or i did not have patience to wait longer.
Then forcing the device to bootloader mode, the rom installations runs to 100% but there is nothing updated, i found a thread which described that if radio rom failed (which was the first that failed) i should downgrade to spl-1.20 from my 1.30. That did not work either, so i found this thread.

The answer to your questions is the same as all other roms that you find in this forum. This is the same ROM as the MunRus Indigo, only that its translated to Swedish. That means that the ROM has the same problems and flaws as that particular ROM. The translation is the official one, I took the language files from the official Swedish ROM. To sum it up, if you are unsecure and dont know what you are doing as your message implies, dont flash your phone. And that is nothing special with this ROM, but with all ROMs you find in this forum. You are alone if you mess up your phone.

HTC never released a Swedish WM6 ROM for the P3600 aka Trinity so unless you translate some of the never ones in here you'll have to stick with this old one if you really need it in Swedish.
WWE 6.1 rom works fine for me but it would be cool to have the Swedish keyboard and dictionary. Is there a way to fix that?

You can use PCM Keyboard with Swedish layout (available in their forums, all free).

It's not the last OS vesion, but I think it's better cook a firm certified for this PDA than adapt a firm build for other HW.

I have some problem that needs your help:
1) How can I remove software protection (the advice installing a not certified program)???

Not signed, and than...
... than?
You should look around and see if you can find a signed version of that file then include it in to your rom.
You can use "Security Configuration Manager" of microsoft to sign a file but then you MUST include that sertificate in to your rom then it will go.

The real difference is that Spaghetti is based on "Trinity Lasagna" ROM adapted for using with Artemis, my ROM is only a modded version of original HTC Artemis ROM...
I know the hardware is almost identical, but "almost" is not a warranty...
My rom doesn't want to be the best rom for Artemis, but a good base to create your own ROM...

I've bricked my phone three times, to recover it you need install original HTC FULL rom that writes bootloader, filesystem, and all the rest (complete resume)
Like you can see by my posts number, I'm not so experienced as Meschle or tom_codon, I'm a user that wants share his experience to realize a good ROM for Artemis in italian...
If you try to build your rom, it's possible you are more able in something and me in some other, adding your experience to mine is the way to obtain a result!!!

I have many RUU's for other roms, but dunno how to make them work with this file...
Can anyone help me please?

Connect diamond select Active Sync Mode run exe file and follow the instructions on the screen. You must have a fully charged battery (at least over 50 per cent)
Another possibility is to run the exe from the first screen and unpacked the file in Windows / User / AppData / tmp called RUU_signed.nbh renamed to diaimg.nbh and copy it to diamond / internal storage.
Then off Diamond's next hit POWER + Arrow Back and RESET, then release reset and keep these two stops again until the screen with information.
Then press POWER and wait until flash is performed until the end.
Once the system perform hard reset.
If they will not follow the above mentioned methods are necessary HardSPL
