Managed to get Touch Flo working tonight (between 5&6am), i am using Shadow as ROM, the steps i completed are as follows:
Install Instructions
1) install touchflo and softreset
2) Delete the bio.lnk in Windows/startup
3) Delete the reg file in HKLM/Software/HTC/Biotouch/Biotouch ver
4) Map Touchflo to any free button
5) Softreset
6) Start touchflo, then go to Windows folder and start Biotouch.exe
(These are exactly the steps i took, i dont know anything else, these just worked for me and i posted them in the hope they might work for someone else!!)
Usage Instructions
1) Press the hardware button you specified to start toughflo
2) Press the hardware button you specified to rotate the cube
3) Press the red call end button to stop it and get back to the main screen
If there are any hangs, uninstall TouchFlo and start again
There are 2 irritating things (very minor!!!)
1) Cant be used with finger like real touchflo i.e. cannot drag finger up to launch or down to exit (yet!!)
2) The hardware button rotates the screen as well as starting touchflo, this might not sould like much but, for example, if the last screen you were looking at was the Music/Photos/Videos page and you pressed the red call end button to get out of TouchFlo, and you want to go back to the Music/Photos/Videos page, you will press the hardware button to start TouchFlo, but at the same time as starting it, it also rotates the screen so it is on the page after the last page you were using, resulting in needing to press the hardware button once to start TouchFlo and twice more to get back to the screen you left off at.
As i said these are minor but this should work for now untill it is properly sorted out

i have done no modification to your alpha cab, i followed some instructions i found on your other site and they didnt work for me, black screens, massively slowed down Shadow, so i did it slightly differently and it worked first time, nice and fast and everything seems to be working!!!
As i said i am using your Shadow rom, no mods, my own software installed thru cabs, and using the instructions detailed above
I must say thanks to you for releasing the alpha for me to play with!!!

OK, this all sounds promising, but are you saying that you still cannot use your finger to do anything? That everything still needs to be done via buttons? Can you use your finger to scroll thru lists? Its progress that it is working at least, but isn't being able to use your finger the whole point? Or perhaps I'm misunderstanding you.

First Point: it is 6:36am i have been messing with this thing since 4am, i have a disertation to research and im taking time out to do this, everyone on almost every forum(Trinity, Wizard, Hermes, other sites etc etc) wants this working, and we have it!!!
Second Point: This is an ALPHA RELEASE that basically means it only works sometimes, i have sat here installed checked it works, flashed my f'ing phone with the Shadow ROM, so there was nothing there that could possible help this work and installed it again.
Third Point: Yes the idea is that you use your finger for everything, but as the second point states this is an ALPHA, later releases will have this im surebut for now i appologise for not sorting that but im tired, y dont you try and get it working with your finger? (that wasnt ment to sound perverse but it does!!!)
i keep getting the black screen no graphics? please help ?

i think the thing you will find with this is the fact that this is deoendant on the ROM used too!! i cannot provide support for this i dont really know the ins and outs of it, i just posted what i did to get it to work!!!

hard reset your phone!!! if it works then you are ok, if you get a black screen get back in the boat with the rest of us!!!

i just got it to work with Black Shadow.. but a few hours ago i installed Shap's rom and i installed touch flo and it worked perfectly, i didn't had to delete any keys or go into /windows folder or any of that stuff with schap's rom
another thing* for those of you having problems, try installing the audiomanager today plug in to see if you get different results, i have noticed that whenever the plugin is not in the today screen the cube seems to not work*
I assume this only works on a Mobile 6 Rom, and not on Mobile 4 (WM2003SE)

This uses HTC audio manager so the audio plugin shouldnt matter, i have just done a sprite restore after my F*** UP, and after a hard reset it is givin me the black screen again.
Im getting really P*ssed off with this i aint slept yet, i cnt let this stupid thing beat me

lol give installing the audio plugin a try just to see what happens, if it doesn't work just delete it but if you really are that desperate install schap's rom just for a minute and try it there

Doesnt work, i dont get y someone doesnt just fix this f****** thing, 12 hours i have sat here with this, it is 8am this was a night not worth trying to help out, i understand now why people ignore you, i stupidly took a look at this coz so many people were moaning about it, i know now why i shouldnt bother 12 hours and so many attempts for nothing

hello, im actually using a cavalier, but i was hoping someone here would be able to help me out, i used to use a dash and ive gotta say, ive never seen a bigger or better collection of people willing to help a brother out. Im using pocketsnes on my cavalier but for some reason when im playing, ill be moving with the dpad and press one of the softkeys to jump or shoot or what ever, and the dpad movement stops, so i have to take my figer off the dpad then press it again. now this may not seem like a big deal, but if youve played super mario world, which im sure most of you have, you need to press the run button while holding the dpad direction. anyone have an idea? i was thinking it was maybe a windows mobile setting somewhere, i know that WM pro has an option for long key strokes and what not. anyway, i appreciate any and all responses, thanks in advance
Which version of PocketSNES are you using?
Not sure what to tell you. I tried to duplicate the problem on my dash using PocketSNES 1.53 and Super Mario World and did not find any problems. The two biggest things that it could be is the version you are using or your key mapping for the emulator. Off topic, how does the cavalier handle SNES emulation with sound enabled? Does it run pretty smooth?
im using 1.53 as well. runs just about perfectly with sound, a tiny bit of choppiness, but totally playable and im sure fixable with some setting adjustments. when i use W A S D for the directions i have no problem, but when i use the dpad, it doesnt repeat the key stroke when i press anything else. maybe its the rom? i have no idea. help is appreciated

Wow, that is weird... I wonder if the problem is a hardware issue although I know the two phones are almost similar besides the processor, camera and ram, etc. I'm not sure what it could be at this point.

I have take the CAB from SE-Homepage and copy FlashPanel folder in ProgramFiles and it runs.
I got the same problem in my cooked rom(Christian's rom). But i'm still using the growing panel from the leaked R3AA beta. Maybe it has to do with that and the new version from the x2 rom have fixed this issue
To bad you allso have this problem, but least it is nice to see that i'm not the only one.
I tried to fix the bug by downloading the official growing panel from se.com, and the time problem was fixed, but certain indicators didn't work. The plants that show battery strength and signal strength don't work anymore. I think this is because it is X2 software. But now i'm wondering if the growing panel that was ripped off the X2 by gtrab will have the same problem, or that it is somehow modified for the X1. Cause I still use the original ROM.
Has anybody tried the growing panel from gtrab's cab post? If you did, can you tell me if it works on the original ROM?
Or does someone know how to fix the indicators?
I know I ask a lot, but I think this will be helpfull to more people than just me

So weird! I had to do a couple of softresets cause of some other problems (dropped my phone down the stairs ) and I thought I'd give the growing panel another shot. And now everything works fine... So I don't know if it was the soft reset or the dropping it down the stairs but growing panel works fine now

It definitely does not work that way. I installed the growing panel from se homepage and it crashes when I open a programm or when I whant to bring up the panel manager again. Any other solutions?

I second the call for (another) solution to the time bug ... Im leery of installing X2 software on the X1, having tried with no success with other panels (eg YouTube, eWallet). Would it make any difference that I have other flash software installed? (i.e. Adobe Flashlite, Dvha79 AdobeFlash 3.1 plugin, Skunkworks FlashVideoBundle). Any help would be much appreciated. I suppose the Growing Panel is still useable even with the cycling date (year) but it is rather distracting...
Growing panel is removed from x1 section in sonyericsson website! When I install it from x2 section the shortcuts dont work! Does anyone have working growing panel?

I know temporary (and it seems that there won't be another ) fix! Everytime you choose growing panel you should change year to 2000 (or another < 2010, but last digit will stuck so it better be 2000) and then change back to 2010.
Thanks for the temp fix Artyom K - obviously not perfect but its far better than nothing! At least the panel is useable now. It has always been a pretty rather than functional panel so having the cycling numbers really defeated the whole purpose of the bloody thing.

i am making a game called ganondolf's adventure (named after me).
I have made a demo for u guys, its an alpha build. im hoping u could give me suggestions and tell me of any bugs.

Game is a bit laggy
not much sound
no animations
Save / Load does not work yet
bug: player falls through ground sometimes (i think this is caused by the lag jerks the player in the wrong place).
my x1 has been sent for repair (cracking probs) so cant test myself. i and a friend has tested a 1 level build so there should not be any probs installing (i have a x1, he has a touch pro 2).

update:
good start,
after looking and waiting at the "ganondolfs.. presents" screen for like 2 min (after which i realized i had to tap the screen,) the rest of the menu was straight forward although none of my hardware keys worked during the game/menu (with the exception of the xpanel.
the instructions seemed easy to understand, although clicking "main menu" resets the game to the intro (which is okay, didnt mind it, just fyi.)
load game doesn't work correctly yet, as you have stated.
Game: seems easy but hard since the lag (due to being the alpha), also difficult to know just how close i can get to the enemies with out dying ( large character, but you dont need to change that its fine)
opening the keyboard doesn't seem to rotate the screen but does change the lay out of the hardware directional pad.
i did manage to jump out of the game (quickly pressing up+right/left lead me to an invisible platform then out of the screen by jumping over the bricks)
its fun and looks nice too, reminds me of the Prince of Persia (funny how anything in the air appears OVER the on screen buttons )
keep up the good work, looking forward to the future of Ganondolf software's games. hope my observations help the development.

it suppose to go back to the main menu screen, i will change it. i made it unlimited lives as i know how hard it is, will have save working on the level complete screen.
lag is a problem, trying to fix it.

Did you ever solve this problem. I'm having the same issue because I can't pull down the notification bar and also whenever I switch to another screen the notification bar comes down lol. But other have fixed this problems somehow with a kernel

I really wish i could solve it haha, and yea crazy stuff like that happens sometimes. Multitouch is definitely also a problem with 3d shooting games. I was actually hoping a dev try to fix this problem. If there is a fix/workaround for other phones, then its definitely possible on this phone.
Nothing you can do. It is the sensor in the phone. It was never meant for multi-touch

I was checking out those links. Seems that those fixes are only half working.
It really is a hardware problem. They're just recompiling the kernels to clean it up so that it looks like it works properly, but even in the videos it's evident that there's some messing up. If I'm reading right, our phone probably has the same controller as the G1 and N1. And newer phones don't have the problem because they have better hardware.
Yes I realize this is a hardware problem and that this is not a complete fix, but its better than not having any kind of fix at all.

I had the same problem, was really annoying when playing multitouch games like PewPew because it would sense your fingers opposite of where they were and the axis locked during multitouch which makes fine movements impossible. The newer 4 and 5 point multitouch screens perform way better.
