Receive all incoming beams wont turn off... - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development

I have tried to disable it through comm manager and from settings-> connections. Its just doesent turn off.
When i take the tick away from settings-> connections and open the beam setting again its back on. When trying to disable it from comm manager the spinning wheel appears like windows is shutting it down, but it stays on.
Im running Schapp's 3.57a with 1.50 radio...

Tried that all ready, didnt help.

Upgraded my radio to 1.51, no effect to this problem.

changing your rado would not help that lol....

Activesync keeps restarting

Just upgraded to WM5 himalaya port - thanks to everyone for their hard work!
I also added magic button and that's when I noticed that active sync keeps popping up on my device. It doesn't wake the device up, but every few minutes the active sync icon appears.
I have looked in the active sync options but I cant seem to find anything that would show how to turn it off, and schedule is greyed out.
Happens with both BT on and with BT off. Craddled or not. So far WiFi is off too.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Peter
Also I noticed that once I enabled bluetooth..activesync disconnected from the PC (in the cradle) and tried to connect via BT. I see nothing under BT options. How can I disable AS over BT?

Wifi Power Saving

Afternoon all,
I`ve been using the sip client in WM6 thanks to you guys but have a slight problem.
Everytime the screen turns off so does the wifi, which looses connection, therefore incoming SIP calls dont get picked up. Anyone know how to disable this? i cant see a setting anywhere so i assume its a registry setting?
Cheers Andy
I dont think there is a way to make wifi act that way. U could set power settings to never turn off and just turn off screen, but tht would mean RIP battery in no time i suppose. Am i wrong?

WM 6.5 and wifi

am i the only one that having this problem.
Everytime i use PHm registry editor to keep wifi on when device is in sleep or lock mode.. after 20mins or so my wifi shuts off and never comes back on to i go to the wifi menu and select my wif again
Is it PHM or just 6.5?
it is a winMo 6.5 issue!! and it's very annoying
when my tp2 gets out of sleep mode, the antenna icon (top of the screen) doesn't appear anymore and i have to go back to the comm manager, turn wifi off, and then turn it on again!!!
(i upgraded with the official 6.5rom, non-branded)
i knew it wasnt just me.. i also upgraded to the official 6.5rom non-branded everything else works fine just no WiFi hack
There's a thread explaining this new wifi behaviour here:

Wifi Issue - Won't turn "on"

Running WM 6.5 on a TMob Dash. Have the same rom on two phones but on the wifes whenever I go up to the connection slide and select Wifi. It says Disconnecting and then Wifi Off. The icon will never turn on red or blue. If I go into comm manager I can click on the Wifi and it will switch from Off to On but then it never pops up finding networks or even showing the icon on the main page as on. I have turned the power setting to Best Performance and unchecked the auto turn off after x mins. What could be causing it to not come on? Any help is greatly appreciated. This is my first post so if any other information is needed just let me know.

DonSalari's Clean Basic ROM - Internet issue

I installed this ROM. Looks great! But... I cant turn the Internet connection off! I want to turn it off especially for night, but if I go to Comm Manager and turn it off, few seconds later (especially when return to HOME screen) it connects again.
I have all updates set as manual, so no idea why...???
Help! Thanks

Click to collapse
there is a setting for timeout for disconnect.
