Program to sync contacts and calendar other than Outlook

Hi,
Is there any good programs that I can use to sync my Artemis calendar and contacts to my computer? I've used M$ Outlook, but recently I did a clean Windows install and I can't find the Outlook disc.
So if you have a good alternative to sync my contacts, calendar and also, if possible, SMS and emails, I'd like to hear from you.

Hi, you can sync with Active Sync and save your contact to Outlook Express

i have sync calendar, cantacts and tasks with free exchange server at mail2web.com.
I am quite happy with this way because when i have to hard reset my 3300 on the trip i can sync my all contacts back through gprs in few minutes on air and without any PC.

For those who are not using Outlook for calendar sync, here's a way :

Outlook alternative for TP2?

Is there ANY alternative program to Outlook i can sync Email/contacts/calendar with from my TP2 to my PC?? Anything at all???

If you like Google, you can sync directly with Gmail Mail/Contacts/Calendar..

Pretty sure Gmail Mail sync is not available yet. Only Contacts and Calender unless you are talking about IMAP.

Of course it is available!
Contacts and Calendar by Exchange (Active sync)
And mail by IMAP (2 way synchronisation) ;-)

Nuevasync works perfectly for google.
Email arrives on my phone before it hits my desktop PC
Also syncs Calenders and contacts perfectly, just waiting on the promised categories to calenders feature to come along

Google multiple calendars synchronisation..

Does everybody know to properly synchronise Google calendars with the blackstone ?
- With activesync, you can sync only one calendar,
- With Oggsync normal, only one calendar too
- With Oggsync pro, multi-calendars is OK but repeated events don't work
- Inesoft Calendar 2 is great and synchronise multiple calendars and repeated events BUT doesn't sync google with outlook mobile so I can't use manila reminder.
I just want to synchronise my google calendars with my device. Is it possible ?

I've been using it successfully for some time, and have been able to sync 3 calendars to my phone. I also use it to sync my contacts from Google as well. Seems to work OK for me.

Syncing Outlook with Android?

I am currently using my Xperia X1 and I use the Outlook calendar and contacts and sync between computer and phone daily(book appointments and meetings etc) and I was wondering if I can sync Outlook with the HTC Desire Android phone as I am about to upgrade from the X1 to the HTC Desire(possibly X10 if I can get a confirmed date for release of Android 2.1 update)

Yes you can, HTCSync (supplied with the Desire) can sync Contacts/Calendar with Outlook though I haven't used it extensively (I sync Outlook with Google then sync Desire/other devices with Google).

Not sure why you are discussing 3rd party solutions, when I set up my exchange mail account it also synced calendar and contacts.

I believe the OP wants to sync to desktop Outlook as opposed to an exchange server.

Thanks for the info guys. I did try "Go ContactSync" as I heard great things about it. Unfortunately I got error after error. I think the culprit is Win 7 64bit - dont think it works on it
Anyway will go the HTC sync a go. Thanks for your help again!

There is an application that runs on the desktop called Companionlink that will use your Google account to sync with Outlook (inc. Tasks).

Problems with Outlook sync

I'm having some problems with syncing my HTC calendar with Outlook. the first sync seemed to go fine, but now HTC Sync seems to go through the process of syncing and then reports success, but my Outlook calendar hasn't been updated.
Any suggestions on what I can do? (My computer is running Windows 7 Home edition.)

problems with outlook sync
Looking at it using the manual settings, it seems to me the HTC Sync isn't set up for Windows 7 -- it's looking for outlook folders where they're not. Any thoughts on how to remedy this?

From reading the Desire sync file, it may be that the problem is that it's syncing the Calendar with the All Users Personal Folder (which I can't find) rather than the Joe F folder.
Any thoughts on either where the all users Personal Folder is, or how I can get Sync to find the folder where my calendar is stored?

HTC Sync sucks...
I have also had problems with HTC Sync. It´s not very riliable.
I have made a G-Mail account and then installed: CompanionLink
I have setup companionlink to auto sync my calendar and contacts from outlook every 15 minutes.
You just setup the phone to sync with g-mail and it works like a charm without having to use cable and think about it.
this maybe not what youre looking for but it´s a solution that works

I hadn't heard of companionlink but I'd inadventently discovered that when I synced my gmail my calendar was synced to the gmail calender. I'll add companionlink and have a complete solution.
