Should i add bioscroll to Artemis Vanilla 2.0? (Coming soon!)

I can change touch.dll and add a few files to get bioscroll (not the cube) on the new vanilla rom. It would not slow the rom down or take any free memory away.
What you guys think?

All i want is a clean up to date rom, with GPS Photo and (bio)scrolling support. The HTC Home Plugin is very handy, but i can miss it.
I am sure if you make a rom which looks as the HTC original, WITH scrolling and GPS Photo support, lots of people would use it.
O yea, and please, dont make a black version... There are other colours, i like the Blue O2 premium you made, and used it quite a time.
little offtopic. Also, if there is a easy way (ala customizer) to put scrolling or other things in it would be great (even with a hard reset or something). Unfortunately its in the ROM (as ive been told) and therefore not possible(?).

what's exactly bioscroll?

Is BioScroll the thing which made my Artemis with your TouchFlo 2.0 ROM randomly scrolling up and down?

I say yes.
Maybe you could give an option to switch it on or off like Tom does in his ROM?

Well this is what i've done - disabled by default in true vaniila style - there is a smal cab in windows that enables it.
This stops having extra apps or control panels messing up the feel of vanilla
Total storage still 58.76mb and FAST as ever.

I can't wait vanilla 2.0 .I've very impression in vanilla 1.0 so much.

Also add the disconnect button when connected to the net via gprs

I never liked it much. My opinion is to remove it an give an option to install it later for everyone who likes it. Just as you said.

YES, keep it in 2.0.
With bioscroll, I can scroll with finger at anywhere with scrollbar. don't have to use stylus to scroll.
But I don't use cube often. maybe others do also.
Having Bioscroll alone without cube should make this ROM more popular.

DON`t install it ...everything installable on a later basis should be left out, is what i plea for! ....leave it customizable

Agreed, ive been told its only possible to add it to the rom, not to ad it afterwards.

thats not true, i am using this rom all day long and it is actualy super, it is very light and at the same time it has every thing i need.
so people, no bugs at all.
it is super fast with alot of free memory in the storage

I can second that - remember to hard reset!
However - you have to life with the not working SSmaPa (as for most HD Roms). But the rest is fine.

well as i said, it has every thing i need, i dont use to much third party apps, but even if i wanted to use, then u have a lot of options to use, in stead of ssmapa, i could use vj`s application for replacing the default calendar or something similar.
after all, every single rom in here has a bug or two.
there is no perfect rom, even the official htc releases have bugs

some small bugs and speed could be better, but is not that bad.

i have never used ttmax´s roms, this is the first one, and i must say i really LOVE IT
but these words "is not that bad" is very rude from you.
have u ever tried to make a rom?
and than comes some one and tells to your very hard work (witch you dont get paid for that, he shares to every one) its not that bad. i am 100 percent sure u didnt even try this rom,

i have made a couple of roms for myself and i tried this rom, its not the best and its not the worst, so what!? Should i tell every cook on this board his rom is awesome when its not true?

No Internet over 3G
Hi there,
First, thanks for this great ROM. Its running smooth and fast on my diamond.
But there is one little issue I have.
It doesn't connect to the Internet over 3G. (no mails, no weather updates) Everything works flawlessly over WiFi.
I did a hard-reset after flashing. Actually, I think the automatic "Network Setup" that comes up after running for the first time didn't come up. How could I run this manually?
Other services from my network (Orange CH Switzerland) are working OK (SMS etc)
Any Idea how I could solve this and what causes it?

OK, ok, I was corious and I try this ROM. I update it with MIRAGE PDA part. It look's good. Seems to be a fast and stable. You have one death link in START-PROG-TOOLS it is manillla 2D. When I try to ALIGN SCREEN there is a unlimited reepet BUG. And You can put in a quick shut down or restart tool. But I have complaint. Can you take out a ORANGE Today part with SIDE menu bar like a separate file that ppl who like it can install indepedently from rom?

1. It's the Manilla2D customizer.. which is essentialy useless ATM, I'll take care of it

was about to flash another cooked rom until i saw yours... will wait then!

Battery meter
OK today I saw a one strange thing too, small battery oscilation. Battery was charge about 60%. After few calls and some use of app, there was 70% charged!
And plz trz to take out a theme from ORANGE rom I really like it.

Haven't had this ROM for very long yet, but first impressions are that this is (or will be?!) the best i780 ROM yet (and I believe I've tried every one!). It's very snappy with some intelligent tweaks (and a bit of personal preference). Nice job and look forward to the finished article!

I think this is more battery-specific than ROM-related.. not really something that is fixable via SW

Could be because the previous indicator didn't have any % .. thus 1 bar could be +-30%?

Battery
Personally I prefer whatever is different about this battery monitoring! In all other ROMs I have tried, battery status falls off a cliff really quickly, then sits at 30% until it then dies. With this ROM, there seems to be a genuinely smoother depletion profile. Yes, I have seen battery percentage go up at times, but given battery performance often increases with temperature, I do not find this surprising and would prefer point-in-time polling over irregular estimates.
Been running this ROM 24hrs now, loaded all my crap on it, and it still is way faster and more stable than everything I've tried before. Very minor niggles for final release are:
• One of the fonts is basically unreadable (the one used in Comm Manger) - I think this is an HL1/HL2 issue (I've had it on all the other's based on these), but if you can find a way of replacing it?​• Gap under keypad - I think there's been a fix for this posted​• The Java manager isn't great - can you use the Esmertec one which supports Full Screen etc?​• Not sure about that Penguin!​
Otherwise - can I reiterate how good a job you've done on this "beta"!

You sir, have done an amazing job, this is so stable and nice and also fast.

stock/untouched means CLEAN ROM!
clean means w/o additional apps maybe in stock rom included aps removed like java games(?)
but i think there will be a clean rom =)
BTT: do you want clean rom with HTC COMMANAGER or w/o?

Pls notice, that application inside rom are compressed and takes less space than installed after.So this way can provide more free space for usage by including them into rom.
Sure Opera, Office and many others can be downloaded later, cos anyway they will be updated after some time.As for me i dont like Opera.

I agree but for bigger apps only. I prefer that small important tweaks and utilities such as notifblinker, nullKB, htcCommMngr, etc should stay.

Sorry guys, Im not playing with your patience. But Im running of time for working on ROMs this week. As far as I have it Il go on..
