Cause when I adjust the size trough screen setting it changes only size ONLY on today screen. I`ve tried SKTools but it didnt changed everything.. I would like to have bigger font in start menu, file explorer, programs menu..everywhere..I think it will be easier to navigate through menus with fingers when having bigger font..
thanks for any ideas

Hot to change font size?.

Hi..
some of my contacts are very long. so, in phone i see some of name.
is there a way to change the size of font, to make it smaller?.
thanks in advance...
It might already be set to the smallest size.
Start, Settings, System, Screen on the bottom is a Tab for Text Size
but the phone font did not change...
everything can be fixed
it will be my pleasure to help u...
Almatrodi,
He only thing you can do since it maybe the smallest font is to change the setting on your contact list. Better for you to open up Contacts, go to Tools and then Options. After this, put a check mark on view names only. I had the same problem with Arab Names because they are so long and so many. This is the only way I got through it.
Mvmajorem..
thank you for that..
But i am not talking about showing the contacts. i have Pocket Informat instead.
the problem is in phone window. i want to change the font size of it.

How to Change Outlook Mobile Fonts on WM6??

I have successfully changed System fonts; popup menu fots etc. howver no what what i do my Today and Outlook Mobile Fonts (font that displays the messages in inbox etc) don't change.
please let me know how to change those....
Anyone there to help???
How did you change the system font?
I'd like to change the system font to a simple arial font and can't figure out how to do that. Any ideas?
Also, any ideas about how to change the menus so they show up as a list rather than tiled icons?
copy the required font to Windows/Fonts directory of your windows mobile...
Check the following registry sections:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\SYSFNT\Nm
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\Menu\BarFnt\Nm
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\Menu\PopFnt\Nm
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\OOMFnt\Nm
in Nm use the font you have just pasted in Windows/Fonts
by the way i have also found a way to change the system/outlook/today font:
e.g; i like Calibri Font, so i renamed the regular Calibri font as Tahoma.ttf and bold calibri font as tahomabd.ttf and replaced the ones in Windows... reset and it was changed.
.
Just a tip for anyone, there is a chance you will run into problems using the windows\fonts directory for a system font file, I highly recommend placing the font directly in the Windows directory, also the last installed font in the Windows\fonts directory will be used, for example, if you drop Impact.ttf in the fonts direcotry, and power off/on the device, you will have impact as the font in PocketIE.
I just change the GDI setting myself, and drop the same file in the windows directory, and the fonts directory.
I only bother to mention this, because quite awhile back I was using the fonts only directory, and ran into issues, not implying that everyone will have the same issues.
I imagine if you just did the filename changing, you wouldnt even need the registry hacks too, good pointing that out, I never figured out that one, and went around and around at one time looking for a date plugin that used the font specified in the registry.

Change Font and Tweak issue

I am sorry for posting this, coz I've failed in finding a way how to change font after flashing my X01HT in this forum. I am using LVSW 16/6 right now. It seems just fine now.
However, just after installing LetJapan font for, of course Japanese font, I saw my start menu font is bigger than before. I couldn't change it in screen menu. I searched it and it seems the only way is by tweaking it. The problem is, default tweak, at earlier version of LVSW (AFAIR, coz I flashed it many times ) and tweak from other (Tweaks2k2) doesn't work. There is an error message, but I don't understand it.
Is there any friend here facing the same problem? how to solve it?
Sorry if I repost this question, since I cannot find the thread. Thank you very much.
have you tried the font size settings for the phone which can be found in the settings just look hard for it. if that won't work its probably hard coded into the app you installed for japan lettering and your screwed
I did try, but only the font for today screen that changed. My problem is font at start menu. It did not change even I scroll the font size at setting-system-screen-text size to minimum.

Diamond-like Start Menu Font

I was wondering if anyone knew the reg hack to change the startmenu/softkey font to Arial..
The great majority of users I know use a replacement start menu of some sort making it as easy as going to the options. If you want to change the default start menu's font I am relatively certain that it will change everything that uses the system font. I would find the reg-edit for you, but I don't have my registry editor installed right now, you can probably find it on Google.
Kevin1a, unfortunately not, mate. I've changed my system font by SPB Tips and Tricks and it did not change the softkeys' font. And SPB changed three types: main font, menubar font and popup menu font.
I also tried SKTools, but I did not find any option to change them.
In fact, I really want to know how can I change the softkeys' fonts too.

How to increase SMS font size in Manila?

Hi all,
The Manila interface is great, I like it very much but I have a small problem; the font size is too small and thin which makes it hard to read messages in SMS tab especially under sun light or day light, bright conditions.
Is there a way to change the font size or perhaps make the font italic, underlined or bold option for SMS tab?
Thanks in advance.
Try:
Settings -> System -> Screen -> Text size
That only changes the text size in native Windows Mobile dialogs; like sms inbox etc. not in Manila interface. So I am still trying a solution.

aegeuss,
just wondering if you ever figured out how to change the font size per your request? I'm still looking for the answer.

i have seen a mod in which ther's a button to increase or decrease font size in message tab..
i haven't found it in the net anyway...
No unfortunately not; there are two similar threads as http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=539091 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=471604 but the method in these threads change the system fonts completely. There's not an easy way to play with the manila interface fonts (size, color etc.) as afar as I know.
It's good one way that the new manila interface develops with each version but it reduces chances to tweak it for power users. May be that's the way HTC wants it, who knows.
Regards.
thanks for that info.
Personally, i think that it sucks that so much work has gone into making such a nice interface (i.e. the manilla interface) and yet no provisions were make to allow for the (seemingly simple) capability to alter the system font size. I understand that changing the font-face might not be so easy (who knows what fonts each of us might have installed) but the font size... really?

p.s. sorry for ranting.
