If there is a way? Yes, there is. look here for ROMs for the MDA PRO (called the "HTC Universal" mostly).
Each major release has it's own thread in the forum, and you can download the release using the links in the first posts of the thread.
Read around, try a few out, and read the WIKI if you need to know the basics (like how to update and suchlike)

Well cant say i havent helped this guy, i PM-ed him earlier with this:
Unfortunately you seem to have not got off to a good start
Take a look at my upgrading guides as they will help you through the upgrading processes. I strongly suggest you upgrade to HardSPL as this will safeguard against any problems you might have when flashing.
Nobody can say which is the best ROM, however according to the poll on my site most people use Black 2.0. Give it a go good luck.

I wanna test mobile 6 on my tytn......but I need some questions answered please
if I upgrade to mobile 6 does it upgrade the firmware?
it is easy to downgrade back to mobile 5?
what version of mobile 6 would I use because there’s a few copies..
Any help would be great....

yes, firmware gets upgraded...
yes, it is easy to go back to mobile 5...
i use Black 3.0, and its working out great for me. so u can start of with that one...check out the wiki for more info on how to upgrade your device

addendum: its easy to go back to windows mobile 5 as long as there is a released rom from your provider or you can find one xda. If not, you could have issues.
There is however a guide on reverting courtesy of MRVanx, just go to the wiki for the links..
does the SPL upgrade above 1.4? which I dont really wanna do because I bricked my last one.

Dude, if you aint sure what you are doing, follow my guides. The SPL version modt of us use on here will actually protect against bricking thanks to the genius of Olipro.
The threads for the various things you upgrade are all linked to in the guides and its totally worth a read.

I am new to the XDA Forums i heared about the site a couple of days ago from a class mate.
now a few weeks ago i bought the T-Mobile version of the HTC Touch Diamond. I wanted to start with installing a new rom.

this is the one.. when i try to install it i get a error message.. my old ROM still works but i can't get the new one on it..
is the problem my OS.. windows vista?
or is it a other problem..
