Save contact to SIM
I'm using rc1.
Contacts/tapping any contact/Menu/Save to SIM. The last item namely "Save to SIM" is not available (grey color, not black). Looks it's necessary to change a value somewhere in registry, but I did not manage to find what and where.
Does some1 face such problem? Or there is a solution the problem? Does this bug exists in beta8?

yes, "Save to SIM" is active and works.

it will hang up when synchronizing with pc some times,and will show cannot get IP from server.I use beta 8.

did anybody try the *ARM*CAB? (BTP). I've downloaded it, the BT manager has changed but when I search for the Universal's services on my notebook, I get only the same 3 services az before...

I tried to flash de beta8 but i get country ID error 120... i read the readme file and it says:
Q14: I get “error 120: Country id error”, what should I do?
A: It may due to you get the wrong image. Please check your device’s device name and language type and download RUU package from the vender web site again and reset your device and then run RUU again.
Has anybody had this problem..I bought my device as qtek9000 via the official vendor of HTC pda's in Holland... I bought it through my girlfriends telecom company... it comes with WM5.0 UK...
it's not simlocked..of course i just updated the radio rom from 1.9.0 to 1.13 with the tools provided by this forum.

Dopod C720w Windows Mobile 6 ROM is HERE (???)

Haven't tried it but seems to be a working WM6 ROM. I believe it was based on the official T-Mobile ROM with customizations.
Downloading it right now and will flash later. Care to flash anyone?

Server seems to be soooo slow, running at 20kbps..

ive downloaded it...i get error 202...connection....im using vista...dont know wat to do from here...

File dates look too old to be a new version... the NBH file is from the 2 of April - that supports the TMobile ROM theory Looks like we'll have to keep on waiting. Although maybe we will be rewarded within the next two weeks

I'm hoping that the official HTC release of WM6 for the s620 comes out within two weeks. I've heard rumours of it coming August 17 and sometime in September - I'm not sure what to think. In anycase, didn't HTC take over the Dopod brand, making it a bit silly for Dopod devices to get an update before HTC ones?

Well, that might be silly, but here's what is sillier.
Officially, HTC has announced an update for the HTC S620. But officially, neither HTC nor Dopod have announced an update for the c720w. In fact, they have said that they won't do it.
So that's why there is excitement over this release, not because its come out earlier.

I downloaded it and I couldn't get it to work and I know my phone is on unlocked for sure, because, first of all I paid the $40 to do it and secondly I successfully installed another ROMs. Besides It's only that T-Mobile ROM and from all I read about it, you are better off not installing it. I finally went with the Russia WM6 ROM on my C720W and it's working great!! I had to make some adjustments, but that's part of the fun! As I said in another thread, I can't see the official HTC WM6 ROM being any better then this Russia ROM. Cheers

So I downloaded this and then unzipped the RAR file, I then tried to run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe, Vista popped up Are you sure you want to run it, I selected Run, and it did absolutely Nothing.
I tried rebooting my computer and running it again and it is the same thing everytime. It doesn't do Anything.
What can I do to make it run?

are you sure it's not working ??? just so you know ... when the phone is app unlocked, you would still get a prompt everytime regarding "unknown publisher" & you need to confirm by clicking "OK"...etc ( that's normal !! )
to resolved that ... you need to go a step further !

what are you doing trying to flash the c720w ROM to a s621 ???
I know that they are the same machine by marketing ... but there are bits that are diffrent internally ... or else why do you think all of us S621 owners not doing this ???.. instead of waiting for HTC to release the WM6 ROM now ... some of us went ahead and installed the "RUSSIAN" leaked version instead
I'll give you an example:
the comming soon HTC TyTN II P4550 (HTC Kaiser 120) -->> US

the comming soon T-Mobile MDA Vario III (HTC Kaiser 120) -->> Germany
they are the same machine like the comparision I gave above ... BUT ... look closely at the specs ... there are some differences ... not really exact now ... is it ??

D810 WM6 always miss internet mail box

I'd tryed some ROM of D810 included official version.But all version have same problem that is miss internet mail box setting when reset or down.why?Maybe the WM6's problem?

I'd success used the software but missed again for one day and some reset.I run the software again and success again.I don't how long it can alive.

internal GPS stopped working with P3300

Hey I've just install WM6 on my HTC P3300 and the GPS stopped working at all and navigation software doesn't even know that there is internal GPS what can I do ? (I dont reall care if I have to downgrade to WM5 just tell me HOW) Thank You guys !!!

Ok did you read the howto flash a ROM on ARTEMIS?
If yes you probably saw a line that told you to flash twice your P3300.
It often resolve flashing problems. GPS usually use COM4
You can test with free GPS software or with Navio software.

COM Ports
I may be wrong but I seem to have a vague recollection that in the US, the original ROMs use COM9 for GPS (can anyone confirm?). Flashing to a new rom will have changed this to COM4 so you may just need to reconfigure your GPS settings in the individual applications.

Official HTC WWE WM6 SHOULD work with any P3300, that couln't be yours that is not possible to run GPS part.

There is an ARTEMIS or HTC P3300 model that have no GPS inside ? or I've just misinterpret what you said maybe you can give me a link with a refresh WM5 software the will surely work with mine ?

No, All HTC P3300 have got a GPS inside (it remember M$ pub ) only some P3300 haven't got Wifi inside.
You should forget about WM5. I said that I am pretty sure WM6 should work with your GPS.
I can give you a WM5 but it is French orange switzerland version

NO its a custom something (I dont know) but for sure not an original one please if you can send me link off and World wide English official HTC manufacturing version and i would install it ASAP

Try this...
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Clock & Alarms
On Time tab, make sure your time AND time zone is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> Regional Settings
On Region tab, make sure your region is set correctly
Start -> Settings -> System Tab -> External GPS
On Program tab, make note of GPS Program Port
Download & Install VisualGPSce
http://www.visualgps.net/VisualGPSce/VisualGPSceInstall.CAB
Run Visual GPSce
Go to Connect -> Serial port
Set Port to that in "External GPS" setting above and Click OK
If the red dot in the bottom right flashes then your GPS is ok! You may just have to wait for a lock (look for QuickGPS too).

Did you reinstall the official ROM version?

Hey when I try to install the ROM WWE after I press the update button it sends me in a white screen and than he gives me ERROR 260 means cant connect with the device what should I do
p.s. by the way my operation system is Vista so just let you know if there is any kind off significance to the subject

Try hard reset
First you can try to hard reset your device (pressing the 2 soft key and reset at the same time) You will get a message, press the green phone button. If this does not resolve your problem... you can read first post in the forum, to learn how to flash a new ROM. Does your gps ever worked ?

Ok, the best thing to do is to CID unlock your device (I thaught you already done that)

Then use only this to CID unlock your device : http://rapidshare.com/files/119852558/Artemis_USPL.rar.html
After that reinstall the original HTC WWE ROM.

Your problems are from flashing from vista, there are a lot of threads about this, but basically you have to piss about untill you have found out how to install a bunch of old xp drivers and then no more 260 errors. When you have done that you can tell us all here just how you did it and post the drivers again because they are getting harder and harder to find.

guys i am new with my i-mate jasjam(herm 100).. and i had a problem with my sms service. i was not able to send sms with any sim card. so i installed some titanium edition wm 6.5 rom(previously i had wm5). and when i sync it with my pc i found that it was a trial version and it expired now giving me a white screen written
"this concludes the beta test of this software release. thank you very much for your time and effort in helping make this a great product for our costumers.
to obtain a newer release or further info, please revisit the web site that you used to obtain your current beta release."
now i am not able to access any thing on my i-mate. even active sync is not able to synchronize with the pc.
i only want install a good windows(rom) in it. so can any body help me with this problem of mines in easy way.like giving me a direct link to official rom and instructions to install it,,,

i got the solution for expired version from another xda thread. hard reset did the job.
but i still need a official rom.wm 6 or latest.if dont than atleast please give me some link for wm5 official rom. i dont want to play with roms just give me a rom with which i can use my i-mate jasjam peacefully and also i can send sms to my friends... please help me thank you!!

Use this. It's a cab file so just install it, then run the program. Use your current network.
What happens sometimes is the proper settings are not set up, so you end up with your situation.

need that apllication for wm6

i tried that software but it is not displayed any where, while installing it gave an caution that it was designed for previous windows.
so i got the name of it (i;e htc your application name). ill search for it on net for wm6.
please if get it from some where so do post the link. thanx a lot.
