Hey guys!
I've recetly changed my service provider and I now require a prefix before each number I dial.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find this facility on WM5 myself. Anyone can please help me on this?
Hello all,
I recently upgraded my T-Mobile MDA C3 to WM6 with succes. The only downside to this new WM6 is that I haven't got the original voice dial software that comes with the T-Mobile version. I am now looking for a simple, lightweight voice dial application, where I can record my own voice per contact.
Does anyone know of an application that manages to do this well?
Thanks in advance!
Mee to
.. I agree.. i could also use this
take the voice control of the Eten X500 ROM, You do not need to save your voice for each record, because this software does it without this.
... thanx - but...
Hmm.. yes but thats part of the problem. Because that sounds like the Voice Commander in WM6 - And i don´t find it eays og god.. I actually would like to be abel to just record the voice info i need for each number, just like in my old WM5
Besides i must admit i´m not smart enough to extract it from the ROM, I newer tryid that
I have used a few programs that automatically change my contacts into speech so that I dont have to record my own voice. Im not very font of this method, because it requires english pronaunciation of my contacts' names. As I am from Holland, this just doenst go over so well. Thus I want to record my own voices.
I just want to use it for voice dialing: I'm not interested in starting programs with my voice. Most programs that do this run to slow to quickly dial a contact because they are hogged with features.
Is it possible to extract to voice dial software from the original T-Mobile WM5 rom? Because this software does exactly what I want it to do!
Hello Everyone , I have just Bought a new bluetooth handset "I-tech Clip D"
And i can't see the caller id names on the screen of the Handset...(The names are in English ofcourse...)
Is anyone having the same problems???
Is there any cab or patch to fix it ,
I Have a K800 And it works Fine,
Thank u for reading this post , looking forward to see some helpfull answers..
anyone knows???
anyone has the same problems with this device???
what does the bluetooth headset have to do with the handset not displaying caller ID names?
Hi there. I think you meant that caller names are not displayed on the bluetooth display. For windows mobile phones generally require additional software called jetware mobile to enable caller names to be displayed from your phone book. Otherwise, you will only get caller numbers being displayed.
Evening guys and gals,
Just flashed my Imate Jasjam to Schap's wonderful Rom (lite) version and LOVING it, just had a few quick questions:
1. As an Australian resident, when people call from home lines/mobiles - the Caller ID is obviously setup for Americans - ie. (075) 582 3293, however here in Australia our Caller ID is setup to be (07) 5582 3293 for example. I couldn't for the life of me see where this could be changed, any help would be sweet.
2. Is there anyway to increase the length of Ringing when someone calls? Or is that simply up to your Telecommunications provider and when Message Bank kicks in?
Thanks,
EG04
1. Try changing the language under Settings/System/Regional Settings
2. That's up to the service provider.
Thanks for your prompt reply mate. In response to the change in Regional Settings, it was a good idea (and one I hadn't thought of) but after changing them, and applying a Soft Rest, still didn't change

I can change how long my phone rings before going to voicemail by going into
Start/Settings/Phone
Click the Services tab and highight 'Call Forwarding' then click 'get settings'
I change mine to the max 30seconds with AT&T. Default is 20sec
I LOVE u MrDSL - 1 problem down, mine was on 15 seconds which was RIDICULOUS with city noise and me dancing to the Ringtone .
Still can't figure out for the life of me how to switch to Australia Caller ID rules...

Wow! I didn't you know you could do this!! This is great! And it works on my Nokia E70 (Symbian) phone, as well. Thanks.

You could always force it to display however you want just by editing your contacts in Outlook. Instead of (041) 8888888 just change it to (04) 18888888 or you can take out the brackets altogether. And this isn't just Schap's. It's all ROMs... maybe not the Telstra ones though they're probably preconfigured for Australia.
Re your problem with caller ID format.
Don't know if any of this helps, but a couple of things I noted.
I use S2U2 as a screen saver/locker. One of the options in this program is to modify the format of the caller ID number. Only trouble is, the only options it gives are nothing (default), US format, and full international format. Not sure what it would do on your phone, but it might be worth a play.
You can modify HKLM/Security/ColdInit/Locale to 3081 (decimal) if it's not set already.
That may change back, however when you re-boot. (See this post).
Hey guys,
I've already searched a lot of stuff in this forum and enjoyed your work - amazing
But I've got following problem:
My Voicemail show's ALWAYS that there are new messages. But I have no Voicemail activated and NO Voicemails.
I got the solution for my problem already, it's to change the registry key with the following Reg file:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\State\Messages\vmail\Line1\Unread]
"Count"=dword:00000000
How can I put that into a batch file on Autostart or something?
Because everytime I softreset - it's deleted - and I got the problem again.
The Autostart on WM 6.5 doesn't handle reg files
It would be nice if you give me some tips for this.
Thanks in advance.

I take it this issue happens after a hard reset or rom flash, but entering those reg settings makes it go away? Made a cab to enter your registry settings, hope it works for you. Alternatively you can have Sashimi add registry files automatically. If the problem occurs every time you soft reset I don't know the answer, sorry.
Well - it didn't helped , but thanks for your help...
After installing the symbol for Voicemail is already there.
If I change it manual via Mobile Registry Editor it's fixed directly after synchronizing via Active Sync.
Another possible solution could be, to set the reg worth permanently to zero?! Is this possible?
That would solve the whole problem...
I had this problem too and I've fixed it by leaving a voicemail to myself
and delete it right after that. the 'new voicemail' icon disappeared and the problem
is now solved.
But, i do have a voicemail activated so i don't know if this is the right solution for you.
Maybe you should try enter your phone setting :
Setting -> Personal -> Phone, and then tap the 'Services' tab.
Choose "Voice Mail and Text Messages" and tap 'Get Setting'.
Do you see any number associated under 'Voice Mail' ?
If it does, try to delete it.
Thanks for your tip, but the Voicemail is deactivated by provider and I can't turn it on
I know the number of Voicemail too, but if I dial the number, I can just turn on and off the notification SMS if I missed a call.
