Problem with B&B v4.0 and T-Mobile C.III - P3300, MDA Compact III ROM Development

I have a T-Mobile Compact III, I install after B&B 3.7 version 4.0,
but i can't use touch flow, when I click on the touch flow icon,
it does not pass anything?
Then i install the touch Flow professional version,
The screen freezes!
Need i install macromedia flash player???
Please help me! Thanks

When you have activated TouchFlo, you need to slide your finger from right to left or from left to right. Just take a look at this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1418607&postcount=50
or video:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1418941&postcount=116
Or is your screen totally freezing and you need to reboot the phone ?
flashplayer has afaik nothing to do with touchflo

Thanks, but i do it and it does not pass anything???

Hi,
I have a MDAC3 (UK version) and it all works fine.
This is how it works on my phone.
When you first start the phone (or after a reset) press the touch flo button (I have it set to the right soft key) and then sweep you finger UPWARDS as you would do with a real Touch phone.
Thereafter when you press the touch flo button you then sweep you finger from left to right or right to left.
Regards

Thanks, all right!

touch flow

what is it what does it do??
i seem to have it on xda orbit but cant do anything with it
help please
assign a button to Touch Flo. If your using Tom's ROM then it is assigned to the GPS button already.
Press the button and give it a second to start. Next sweep you finger across the screen either from left to right or vice versa. And again... and again....
To exit touch flow move your finger from bottom to top.
It does more, look for the video on the B&B 4 thread.
does nothing mate
i thought thats what it was for
still does nothing tho
try this:
open something with scroll bars. you can use file explorer and /windows folder for example.
try scrolling up or down with your fingers. dont use the scrollbars. simply sweep up and down with your finger on the display. try this a bit, it might be a bit tricky if you never did it before.
if you cant scroll this way, you dont have touchflo. this function is always enabled and you dont need to press a button for it.
edit: and yes, if this works, make sure you have it mapped to the correct key. some applications (like tomtom) may overwrite your button settings when you install them.
nope soon as i touch the screen it opens a folder

its as close as we will get i think
since a few days it works for Hermes (just tested it) and soon we will have it also for Trinity, just be patient.

nop, ir rotates with the "pen", if you make a movment to rigth or left...
You are confused!
TouchFlo is not just a "pretty" three sided cube activated with a finger swipe (not a button)...
TouchFlo is more than that. The coolest thing about TouchFlo is the ability to scroll up, down, left and right (even diagonals) with just the finger and the system is able to detect actions upon touch (scroll action and select action).
The Trinity is not capable to detect TouchFlo (not the cube but the scroll part of it). Period!
Cheers!

This is from the first post of my thread = with touch activation of the cube. (press downward from point shown on image to activate) or press and hold until second buzz start key. - You can change cube activation settings via \settings\system\TouchFLO
:$ oops
i hang my head in shame

The Cube : Where is it and how to use it?

Hi All,
I cannot figure out how to use the cube.
I have Artemis with ROM TOUCH 4.02 Lite (with cube).
I read that to launch the cube you must press windows button until 2 vibrations but when I do that I do not have any vibrations at all...
How to have the cube always active? And where is the cube located on Filesystem?
Please let me know.
Thanks

Please understand before you read this that I am really juniour to all this stuff, and did my first rom update yesterday. I have installed the same version as you, and this is how I got the cube to work for me.
I went to Settings, and opened the TouchFLO item. In there you will find various options, Enable Cube, Enable Scroll, Enable Sound, and view mode. I have found that the best view mode is the TF defualt v4.1 option. With this selected, a stoke down to the bottom bar on the screen opens the cube, then with the cube open, a flick up from where the bottom bar would be, closes the cube.
I am no wizz kid, and so if anyone tells you a better way, I will be just as interested as you!!
Hope this helps you for now!

I have it on 6.5 (with the ROM in my signiture). Are you running a stock ROM or a custom ROM? Either way, open up your favorite registry editor and browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Control Panel>Keylock and see if there is an entry called Hide. If there is, delete it, and reboot. Then see if it's in the control panel under System.
I am running tp2_valkyrie_4.7.23506LEO rom, and i cant find keylock in regedit! I will flash another rom and trie then!
