I just bought a new JASJAR and would like to upgrade to WM6, plz suggest me best ROM upgrade, let me tell you that the reason i bought jasjar is bcoz i had a k-jam and i tried some ROM upgrades on it.. and screwed it totally.. so this time i need something best & reliable for my jasjar.. can somebody help me

Check out this link..its Wm6.0 released by Ivan and i have been using it for almost a month now and so far dont have problems with it except that it doesnt have the video call function and so do all of them...most of all the memory leak bug has been fixed in it and Free memory stays around 24mb which is good enough for me.

I am new owner of M700 really interested to flash it from WM5 to WM6,but still no idea on the steps... abit worry as my window Vista does not communite well in USB with my dopod. Saw your posting but is in chinese. please help to provide the guide in english.

Hi there i have tried to flash my Dopod M700 with the official WM5.0 from HTC webpage and then latter changed to WM6.0 downloaded from xda-dev.. Artemis Touch 2.0 ver.
Both versions give different set of problem
WM 5.0 - My camera button and other shorcut button either cant be activated or when i press many application such as media hub, camera and audio manager pops up.
WM 6.0 Arte 2.0 - Button still having problem especially the camera. The new contact is giving problem displaying my contact even in sim card.
I also have another problem as using win vista and Win Media Device Center WMDC 6.1 from microsoft. I can connect to my M700 but cant do any flashing.
Please help me. This is my time using PDA Dopod.

Hi bro shaan, mind to share your link to download the WM6 that you are using?? another question do you encounter such problem as cannot activate the keys such as camera, comm manager and the media hub?
i tried to ask a few pda shops but they just tell me to go to dopod service centre at lowyat.

All versions HTC original ROM, Vanilla, Artemis 2.0, and HTC Love 1.3 give different set of problem that not solved

embrio, use WinXP for flashing, not vista, about your problem with camera button and other shorcut button, I think that it`s something wrong with your device, I use my 3350 from april and have a lot of interest of diskussion about Artemis-Love on many PDA forums, and I never listen about such problem you have. I foget about how many times my 3350 was flashing.
Tinic, would you cook rom for other languages? If you don't have time or don't want to do it, please post here how to make it myself... what must be removed and what updated.
PS: Is it possible to transfer audiobooster from original WM5?

Dear Embrio... until today HTC never ever release Official WM6 for M700 (Love). I dunno why they loose interest in this wonderful Artemis Model.
Don't you all love Artemis M700 got more beside 64mb Flash ROM & 64mb RAM.. it got extra spare internal 128 MB Hard Disk... Love it!
We just try our best to deliver WM6 for M700.. by modifying P800 Official ROM.
It just not many here using M700.. its not common device... so less cooker able to cook the ROM for M700 model.
Try Meschle's latest O2 Vanilla ROM.. its quite good actually.
Try to upgrade with WindowsXP because windowsXP is proven to be the best windows so far... Vista is buggy and performance Hog... they about to release the Vista SP1 soon... stay tune on that.. about WDMC.. well lots of folks here got problem with WDMC.. is not entirely reliable in some devices.
But.. if buttons is your problems.. try to install application that able to change the way button works... i saw many of those in this forum..

I think it not work with p3600i.
The screenshots show that only 40MB left after installation. Normally we can have at least 60MB free space. Can you advise what other programs included that chew up the 20MB space?

Is this ROM compatible with other Chinese inputs, like Pinyin and MengTian (蒙恬)？
And I guess we don't need other Chinese software, like CE-Star, in order to display Chinese fonts in Contacts, words, etc. Right?
Is there a way to install the default Chinese input (the one that came with Chinese OS)? My wife is not use to the ZTA4 input.

I thought P3600i's are the same phone except with a larger ROM+RAM and a 500mhz CPU instead of a 400mhz?... I don't see why you say this ROM won't work?
Anyway, rapidshare just finished d/l'ing.. gonna flash it now

Thanks for your great work, i flashed my SFR300 with this ROM, it works very well, however, a little problem: in Pocke IE, the Chinese words can't wrap automatically, and the same situation for those programs who use PIE for displaying, such as Mdict....
Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
Another question:
Can we replace the program CONTACT by the program in the Chinese version, because the English version doesn't support SEARCH BY PINYIN......

not password protected, just unzip
to flash, unzip the nb0 file into a memory card (fat32), shutdown your device, insert the card, push (not press) down for the jogger & hold it, press once on power, you see it power up but dun release jogger until u get into the bootloader mode in black screen.
let it load until it says REMOVE BATTERY, just do a reset will do.

I just got my first ATOM V. And had got the 6.1 and 6.5 rom. But can't get how to flash it.
Could anyone help me explain step by step how to flash the atom V?
By last comment, i should unzip the NB0 file, but i couldn't unzip it with winrar or winzip. Could anyone help me please....

To install the NB0 file,just copy to memory card,and press soft reset button once while holding volume down (jog button to down) ---> (when device ON)
Don't release untill the black flash screen appears.
I have more ROM for AtomV without Pass.

Any Atom V users tried this rom working fine?
I bought Atom V brand new piece yesterday. Wi-Fi isnt working.Some time ago in office wi-fi was working.
Now its not able to detect home wi-fi connection.
I hope upgrading to windows mobile 6.1 will resolve the issue.

Just upgraded to 6.1 using above rom but not able change calender. And more thai language.
Current calender displaying is of 2500 year and not allowing me to change by using keyboard.
If I keep scrolling only going back till 2493 year.
M2D htc touch flo is really nice.
How to repair that year thing?

FIXED RealVGA for i780 - no more cprog.exe or shell32.exe errors & working green button & phone

That would be probably due to the fact that EFN used the SYS section from HTC Diamond.. so it's really up to you whether you chose a cooked or official ROM. I've had some problems with cooked ROM's (i.e. SMS stopped arriving when a certain number of messages were in the DELETED folder.. MMS didn't work - although I see EFN has posted/integrated a fix for this..) so I will stick to the latest offical HL1 ROM for now while trying to cook my own version..

Same as with EFN's ROM's - you might experience problems with the mouse/touchscreen .. noone can tell for sure. For me (i780 bought from the USA) it works quite well so far
So em.. anyone want to do their UK orange i780 and then let me know....
Don't have time to make the upgrade right now, maybe later...
Meanwhile, keep posting your experiences with this ROM
Any infos about the meaning (region or operator) of the code MS?

I flashed my i780 with the hk1 upgrader so the phone&pda was hk1
then i flashed the pda part with the ned hl1 rom and now my phone AND my pda part is hl1

tnx for the above reply, will you explain why would you flash phone with HK3 and not HE1? whats the key differences between them please ? cause I am going to flash PDA to the new HL1 and not sure if its better with HE1 or HK3 ?
