oh come on. there is "search" button in the menu bar of this forum. with that you can...search!
here, i did it for you: read this
edit: this is the other way to do it: http://www.imei-check.co.uk/c3unlock.php
After unlocking you can change the operator..It can be done through codes. If you wanna code, get it from http://www.simpleunlocking.com/ .It helps to unlock your mobile easily.

Wonder if anybody can help me please!
I've unlocked my XDA2 using the sim unlock tool and my XDA is now running through me Orange sim card. Is there any way i can change the O2 settings to Oranges (i.e so it looks like Oranges M2000). Or is there a way i can chane the O2 Active user interface into Oranges.
Your help would be very much appreciated
Cheers
Daddy
P.S i've just become a dad for the first time, so this would make an excellent gift! Thanks again for reading this.
congrats
do you mean if you can put an orange rom on your device or
if you can change the GPRS and mms settings to those Orange use?
Orange rom

From this I'm guessing that you have the XDA-IIs - the one with the slide-out keyboard.
You should be able to put the M2000 ROM on to it, someone else should be able to give you the details. Also look in the "Blue Angel" forum.
If you have the XDA-IIi then that would be the Orange M1500 I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Orange ROM
Thanks for your reply!
I have the XDA11 - the one without the pull down keyboard. If there is a way to change it, how do i do it?
Thanks again
Daddy
the xda with the slide out keyboard is called xdaIIs not xdaII
it's a blue angel device not a himalaya device
as TheBrit said look in the blue angel forum where people have the same device as you
or read this

Without the keyboard would be the M1000 or M1500. As far as I know the M1000 is XDA-II (aka Hymalaya) and M1500 is XDA-IIi (aka Alpine). Go to the relevant forum and ask for specific advice there.
hello everyone!!
am pretty new to the world of xda's, so please help a new guy out!
problem is, when i got my mda vario and first switch it on (with vodafone pay as you go sim) it had a bunch of options at the start, of which network i had for the settings to arrange itself! (brilliant )

That's 2 different things, maybe 3. Do you want to change the 'splash screens' - that come up when you soft reset... (In attachments), or the theme?

Well you could jusr unlock the SPL and then flash the device with one of the cooked WM6 ROM's. That will make the Orbit look like a standard HTC P3300
Thats what i did with mine anyway
Re: Homezone problem, 02 Germany
hallo people,
Than you so much for your great work on ROM. I am successfully changed my ROM from German to English.
I have a problem
I couldn't see 'homezone' in my mobile after flashing from German to English.
Does anyone can help me regarding the same.
Thank you in advance.
Greetings!
Sony
Homezone. It means until some areas my phone acts as a land line. If I cross this area or go far away from my home it turns as a 'mobilezone'. In Germany homezone calls are cheaper than mobilezone.
Hi,
take this to your hdd. Unpack and copy the .dll in your windows folder, and import the reg key to your registry. Thats it, you become an "house" sign in the telefon area on the up right side.
Ah, and dont forget to reset your Diamond...
http://rapidshare.com/files/130060475/Homezone.rar.html
Since i flashed my diamond to Bepes ROM, i dont have an "homezone" sign too. Thats helps a lot i think...
Greets,
Sven
Hallo Sven,
Thank you so much for your quick reply.
Could you please simplify 'how to export the dll file to Registry'? Please write to me step by step. I am not good at computers.
Thanks for your help and time.
Greetings!
Sony
Will this .dll also put the Home Logo into the Manila Homescreen when tweaked "branded style" or is it just showing in the Telephone Interface?
@jbk: only in the telephone screen I search a way to show it in manila... Maybe one of the devel's can mod it...?
@Sony: Write an tutorial for you... Think to send it via PM to you in german - is easyer ^^ So stay tuned... Think its dont take so long time
Seems that the Homezone sign doesnt work anymore under 0.94 Bepe ROM... Anyone experience the same ?
Maybe a way to display the home sign in TFLO3D ???
The Homezone-Sign doesnt work under Bepe 0.99b
Someone got an idea what to do?
any news about a working O2 Homezone icon?
Hi,
I have a qtek s200 running wm5 and I can't unlock the screen
lock system. I click the unlock button at the bottom left and then the
one on the middle right but it doesn't work.
I hate wm :-(
Is there any advantage in upgrading to wm6?
Best regards,
Carlos

Welcome to the forum
Try to READ the Wiki, and I recommend wm6!!
Good luck
I love windows mobile
Even if i had Palm OS or Symbian OS, recomend entirely Windows mobile 6.1
so reflash your original if you dont want it. and learn how to use your phone. ask question about troubles in the ROM forum and don be so lazy... Read everything Man!
After power up your phone... does it shows a screen unicolor called Unlock a line in the middle said tap unlock or press "*" isnt it?
then a button that say... unlock!!!!
so... whats the prob
tap first on today screen unlock just down left on the screen then tap unlock on the screen i told you!!!
and please go to settings on today and disable this feature....
Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. I looked in the forum before and I could find info on how to unblock sim, cid and applications but not on how to override the screen lock.
Following your tip, I looked for (and found) information about the instalation of wm6 and will do it as soon as I unblock the screen.
Thanks,
Carlos

Sure, there is a sticky [UPG]Diamond CID/Security/SIM Unlocker topic at the top of this forum.
Oh, and you can also have a look at this amazing search website I recently discovered. It's called Google. Just enter some keywords and don't be surprised if you'll find what you're looking for
you have the answer now
please use the search button before you ask again.
thank you
