Touchflo Plugin Required

Has anyone got the *.Cab File for this, as I would just like to add it to my current ROM.

I know people are working on it, but there is no cab available as of yet, but I am sure it will come pretty soon, you should check b&b 3.7, kinda makes up for not having touchflo

Hey pvdhelm,
is there anything special to take care of?
I downloaded, executed and installed it.
After reboot, i start "Touchflo" from Programs but nothing happens except a black screen. After pressing OK, i get back into Programs?
Any ideas?

My ROM is B&B v3.7

this alfa version is not for the artemis but for the wizard as you may have noticed in the thread....
You have to install HTC audio manager when a black screen appears with the HTC Wizard...I tried with the Artemis but didn't get it to work...
It's also contains a lot of bugs...and you have to assign a key to use it....I wouldn't recommend this to new users/starters.....

I don't see any notice that it's for Wizard only.
I don't expect too much of an Alpha version but nevertheless i think we have to wait for a smoother release

HOWTO
Install the cab provided by jasjamming and Bepe (THANKS FOR YOUR WORK GUYS) then make sure you have assigned a button to Touch Flo and finally install the cab attached in this post.
Make a soft reset and after boot process you will see a window for some second (actually it's the script window, i didn't manage how to hide it ), after that window close push the Touch Flo button, the cube should spinning .
The fix consist in using nScript (ns.exe) for making a startup script (ButtonFlo.ns) that will load and wait for touchflo.exe first then it will launch Biotouch.exe.
A link (called bio.lnk, so it should overwrite the link to Biotouch.exe) is added in the start up folder to autostart the script during the boot process.

Wrong font type in comm amanger

I have tried all of the new WM6 rom's with "black" look and in most of them I get that the comm manager font is all messed up destroying the nice original look.
Has anyone experienced this problem?

Make sure your fonts size is set to medium

I've checked ad the font is already set to medium.
The problem must be somewhere else...

The same thing has happened to me many times with different roms. In fact it even changed back to normal with a soft reset on some of them.

Just to make it clear, this problem also happened with other comm managers like the one from HTC Kaiser (10 button) or the one with 8 button... so maybe this has to do with some font that is changed by some piece of software.
Just guessing...

I have notice this problem too on many ROMs, I think that the issue comes from your today theme or do you have Wheather Panel installed on your device ?
Each time I install this soft, it happens.

Funny- I use weatherpanel too!

No doubt...That's WeatherPanel causing this problem.
Would it be possible to get any workaround???

Go to the weatherpanel folder in the theme folder and remove/rename the 2 TTF files (font files) that are there.
After that softreset and commmanager should be normal again...

I don't want to use By_Boto_XDA-Developers_HTC_Touch_CommManager.cab because in the thread people say it makes the startup alot slwoer...
I would like to keep this ROM and only install cabs or edit registry.

Ok ive the black theme form here http://rs54.rapidshare.com/files/36282384/Htc_default.tsk

In the new comm-manger you can sovle this issue by deleting this regkey:
HKLM\Software\HTC\CommManager\WLAN
Maybe it works also in this case ?

You can't install TouchFlo by cab, it has be cooked in.... if you don't believe - when you do a search you won't hear another answer...

doesn't is a WWE wm6 with touchflo in it? like this? (even if is for qtek s200). to not install a cab to activate a touch. to have allready in the rom after ROM update. i tried P3600_WM6_1[1].1_WWE_ADW_incl_RADIO.rar but i can't find the touchflo (or I don't know how to start it, to activate it). can someone help me? thank you all.

don't think so. but you can try Touch Commander found in the thread in xda also.

though not the same, but pretty similar. If you installted the FTouchFlo 1.4.1. you will feel even better.. I am using these both on my D810. I even installed HTC Album. great...

The problem is the touchflo, work good the touchcommander but the first click is in the button or a Icon.

Well. not really. nt sure if this help. I put the FTouchFlo link to the windows startup folder so phone will run FTouchFlo evertime it start up. then from DOWN->UP i set it to run Touch Commander. so no button or icon. do try that. but it does take a while for it to load.

i want an application (not such as touch commander) integrated in ROM. thank you anyway

I installed touchflo 1.4.1 added it to startup but I dont know how to activate it...

Touch Commander is the closest thing to it at the moment, I'm sure some Rom cookers are making their latest ROMs with fTouchFlo and Touch Commander at the moment, that's good enough for me, what is the problem with Touch Commander, or the flash cube?

grega_slo. u don't have to activate. I guess the file FTouchFloConfig.txt in ur folder (\Program Files\FTouchFlo for me) was not edited with the command that you need. So nothing actually happen. try going through the previous thread or do a search on FTouchFlo and you may find some answer.

CAB to install Office Mobile 2007 onto your storage card (free up some device memory)

I wanted to free up more device memory, but the Office 2007 CABs (I could find) would only install to the device. So I edited the CAB I had, to give you the choice (device or storage card).
It seems to work OK. The shortcuts, on the start menu, weren't pointing to the new location... but I think I have fixed that. Not sure what happens on non-english devices.
The bugbears I have found are;
Hitting the new button in Word generates an error. I think it is because the default template is in the wrong place. So if anyone can shed some light on that, I would be grateful. It's not a biggie tho' I just created a document called "blank.doc" and open that instead.
And the File Associations are pointing to the old location. I edited the registry changes in the CAB, but I screwed up (it couldn't handle the space in 'Storage Card'... hmmm). So I went back to the earlier version, and you have to edit the file associations manually. #
Is anyone willing to lend me a brain cell here?
I'm sure someone will come along now and say, "there is already a CAB that does this".... but I did spend two days looking for one!

there are 3 cases for for software on PDA devices:
applications that are cooked with the ROM installed on your device (in this situation you can not uninstall these applications)
applications that installed as a part of the post-flash customization.
applications that you install yourself
for the 2nd and 3rd situation you may go to "Settings/[Tab: System] Remove Programs" if you want to know which programs are installed on your device and from there you can uninstall the programs that you don't need.
I hope this was a kind of useful for you and it answered your question.

other than changing to another ROM (without Office cooked in)... there's a fair choice!

I'll just point out that this cab breaks the finger friendly menus in 6.5.3 File Explorer...
