PhonePad Sound - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hi
I'm quite fond of the Phone Pad (all though the layout could be better). I would also be happy with the sound feedback, if it wasn't for the use of the dull Windows default sound. Is there anyway I can change the sound for the Pad? (Without altering the Windows default sound).

Søren

Custom Sounds on HTC Touch Pro2???

Is there a way to customize startup sounds or error sounds? I would like to change the sound of those, but can't seem to figure out how. Anyone help with that?? It has WinOS 6.1.
Like many of the options on the Touch Pro2, a user interface for the notification sounds appears to be sadly lacking. The default sound for my email alert, for example, it a barely audible beep. I have just had a route through the registry, and all the notifications look as if they are located here:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications
From here, there are a number of registry keys, most of which are GUIDs, but their associated function is shown by the (default) value inside each key. There's a Wave string value in each, which you should be able to change as required. I've not tried this yet, but will have a go later.

C# Controlling Optical Joystick... ?

I wanted to write an application that changes optical joystick behaviour for different applications, for ex. when writting SMS I would like to disable Joystick, and when in Opera, i want to use it as scroll... then in Resco Explorer slower reaction then possible to set with default Settings program... etc....
... and no Idea how to start controlling these things... there is no api, no wrapper, no anything to control optical joystick ... for ex for diamond's / touch pro's d-pad or G sensors ... had their wrapperers / SDKs written by: Koushik Dutta...

Sliding Keyboard sound volume

Is there a reg edit that lets you change the volume of the sliding keyboard sound independent of the system volume?
dont think so, as there is nothing in the registry for sliding sound that relates to volume.
BUT what you could do is get a sound editor, copy over the sliding sound you want to use to your pc, cut down the actual volume of the .wav and then send it back to your device and use that as your sliding sound.
Sliding Keyboard Sound
Does anyone know where the sliding keyboard sound file is located? Is it a wav or wma file?
0_in.xwav
0_out.xwav
1_in.xwav
1_out.xwav
2_in.xwav
2_out.xwav
3_in.xwav
3_out.xwav
4_in.xwav
4_out.xwav
If sound editor don't support xwav: rename xwav to wav

ring tone profiles?

Change the keyboard typing sound

Does anyone know how to change the keyboard typing sound? I use GBoard instead of the default TouchPal keyboard, but the sound effect from typing is the same as TouchPal - it resembles the sound of a typewriter. I don't know about you guys, but its horrific to me. My preference would be to change it to something that sounds similar to the iPhone or Samsung Galaxy.
I have found that using another third party keyboard, such as Cheetah Keyboard, will have a different sound, but I really like GBoard and want to only change the sound effect for typing.
/system>/media>/audio>/ui> all the keyboard .ogg files
