Fix for Handsfree?

I have a Qtek8310 and a Nokia HS-12W handsfree... is there a fix for for the following stuf:
1. See the callers name instead of number
2. see if theres a new SMS
3. fast forward
4. See the name on the file u are playing
5. See the time on the display
this is Functions that work on a Nokia phone... it would be nice with a registry hack or something that fix this stuf...
AWESOME Hedset!

Hey thormdac my friend..!
[email protected] only Joked.Hope u understand.I update support Touch Flo cube not button.
If u don't understand see this video :
http://youtube.com/watch?v=zQBOespJRfU
Cheers...!
and again [email protected] only Joked.U and [email protected] also very good man for me.
I found only two little things:
1- the clock on the top bar is not sinchronized with the htc home clock (when this switch, the first switch about 10 seconds after)
2- every time I make a call the receiver volume is always set at min. also if I set to max.
Anyway, they are not important and Tom is great.
Weehaa... looks great...
I´m really curious about it.

More Findings
1. Touchflo works well without the hardware button...when you finally find it
2. No obvious signs of the auto vibrate sound profile issue, either when adding an appointment or when an appointment come around. Haven't tested the auto profile yet though - just enjoying not having to turn my system sound back on every five minutes
3. The camera seems to work quickly and properly - nothing new or sexy to it, but working is sexy enough for me
4. The touchflo cube config module is better and slicker
5. It feels more stable and a bit faster - highly subjective, I know
6. I thought I had a few issues with ActiveSync at first - dropping connections, USb device not recognised -but that seems to have settled down
7. I haven't yet found anything I could describe as a bug but I'm still looking
Tom's done a very good job here - good work fella! He copped a little unfair flak around 4.0, as did the testers. This is not a commercial release - it's what you want to make of it. If you don't like it, or it doesn't work it's no-one's fault, just your tough luck. That's the risk you embrace when you move off of the OEM ROM. If it doesn't work don't donate - it IS optional - and use a different ROM.
This will do nicely for me in the meantime.
I don't make it for "Donate"
For all : I don't make it for "Donate"
Remember i make it for us.And make it because i like this work...
Have people donated to me and said.He already donated and tell me need share link for him.
I don't want share link because this only beta version.Still have bugs.I need test and Fix it before release v4.1.My Rom always free for all people like my Rom.Donate to me if u like my work, don't donate and tell i need make.. ect ect..
Please understand me...!

You have PM
just a suggestion
Hi tom... everything goes well and works ok except that phonepad input problem.. bythe way i have a suggestion to the cube enabling process.. as far as i know in the actual HTC touch the cube is enebled when your slide the finger from top to bottom.. I think you have reversed it .. in this rom and the previous one exit is by this method.. If you can modify this setting easily can u update in the final version... If u cant also no problem as this rom is great.. Keep up the good work....
cheers and good luck to your studies...

[UTIL]HTC Debug Tools

I found some tools in a part of french rom download in this forum.
You can test diamond nav pad, gsensor, position sensor, light sensor etc
I search in the forum but nobody talk about it.
do you know this tools.
exemple:with testHTCSensorDemoAP.exe
you can view position of the diamond, ambient value , brightness level.
Thanx ... was fun playing around with
Try the 'NavDbgTool.exe' ..... I didn't know that the entire bottom plate was touch!
And that there was Up, Down, Left, Right hardware buttons!
Cool!
Thanx for sharing!

and it is not only touch sensitiv. it is capacitive (so it senses only your fingers, not the stylus, and you don't need to press, only touch like iphone), and it senses multitouch (you can use 2 fingers... like iphone)
FmsApp is the FM Radio tool, it shows also RDS. I have only one question. if there is a RDS capable FM tuner, why isn't TMC?
I'm enjoying the Nav Debug Tool as well
Thanks for finding this, great tools

If it does all that, maybe there is a possibility of assigning other functions to the touch-pad. Like what many are doing with the accelerometer....

Thanks matou25 for this interesting tools.
I propose to build a list and a description of their actions/uses for each one :

BTTest.exe ---> Test your BT module
ByteCounter ---> Data counter ( but for which interface ??? )
DCompassApp.exe ---> ???
DebugTool.exe ---> General debugging tool
DevHealth.exe ---> ??? ( It does not start on my device )
FmsApp.exe ---> Radio Tool
GPSRouter.exe ---> Turn your device into GPS USB Receiver ( need to be confirmed )
HTCGPSTool.exe ---> Test your internal GPS/ Satelites informations
ipsecvpnpm.exe ---> ??? ( about VPN )
memoRX.exe ---> ???
NavDbgTool.exe ---> Touchpad tool
NetworkTestPPC.exe ---> Network tool with very usefull Ping option

You can help me to complete ths list if your know more than me
Regards.
I have put this Tool and the list on the wiki!
Pleas edit/add your findings there...

Thank you man, good idea! it's perfect!
updated the wiki entry a bit..
The sensor tool is quite impressive, so much possibilities are open with that ! The fact that the bottom pannel is a multitouch sensor is just wonderful.
For the compass, I'd say those are generic debug tools for all HTC devices... So there might be a compass on the diamond, but I really think it's for another hardware... The Dream perhaps ?
Hmm could these tools maybe be used to calibrate the gsensor somehow ?
Has anyone else tested 'testHTCSensorAp' ??
My 'Ambient Value' is almost always 0, I have to but it up towards a lamp for it to react...
Anyone else got the same?
I hope my diamond isn't broken
A911Switch.exe ---> switch usb port to serial (i think)
DevHealth.exe
Hi,
I've done some investigation into DevHealth.exe. However it seems that the application isn't running (after the startup I get only "device-thinking" (rolling 4-colour circle) animation), I went to the Task Manager and even after pushing "x" mark during the startup the app uses about 86-87% of the CPU. After some time (3-5min?) it just went off by itself and dissapeared from the Task Manager list?? It left no additional files - maybe it just does some benchmark of the system??
for me ambient value is between 0 for dark to 768 for full sun light

Perfect Executive Rom

Hi there,
Like many people, i bought my Diamond for Professional Use. These means i use only a few applications and almost everything else "is garbage" (usefull)!
For us, this is just another work tool and we need it fast and reliable. We must be all time connected and for us i would sugest a +- perfect rom:
Look:
- im love that look of This Rom (Icons i mean): [ROM][15.08.08][WWE|GER|ITA|FRE|ESN|PTG]DIAMOND PROJECT ROM Release V3.3 (5.2.20273)
Connections CArpet:
- Com manager (to put all in his place)
- Internet Sharing (to connect Laptop)
- Remote Desktop ( to access the company by terminal Server)
- Voip Software (to call free where we have free Internet - like Hotels)
- Voice Speed Dial (for fastest conections)
Games Carpet:
- Bubble Breaker
- Solitaire
- Teeter
Note: You can not imagine how much time we pass in waiting rooms...)
Multimedia Carpet:
- HTC Camera
- Fm Radio
- Voice Recorder
- HTC Album
- Audio Booster (i never used it... but, for those who listen to MP3's...)
Office Carpet :
- Calculator
- Excel Mobile
- Word Mobile
- Power Point Mobile
- Pdf Reader
- Opera Browser (for Internet)
- Note Pad
- Tasks
- Pocket Rar (for uncompressing the files we receive by mail)
System Tools:
- Clear Temp
- File Explorer
- ET9Mywords
- Quick GPS (Madrid is Horrible to stablish conection to sat!)
- GPS Test (same rason!)
- Diamond Tf3D Config
- Reset Manager
- GB Soft Tweak
- G Sensor tool (some times the g-sensor drive me crazy when working in applications and i have to configure it).
Note: i currently use the Duttys Diamond V2 and i love the "new Message Notification sound". The same for e-mail would be great "you've got an e-mail"!
Also would be great to manage these applications to put them in the slider bar (manila?) so we could access them fast and chose wich to have there!
Don´t take off the weather application (very usefull: Lisbon= Sunny, Brussels: Raining Hard!)
i would contribute for the developer, and with the developer!
PS: A name could be "Executive Rom"
90% of the thing the diamond has we don't use it! Make it fast and "a tool"
I dont understand what the hell you want to tell us........

I think he means, that his list.. (The apps).. He want us cookers to make in a ROM.
And Delete all the non usefull apps. & then tweak is at HELL ..
I think is that, but i am not sure
Why not have a go at Cooking your own ROM?
Because it is an executive ROM, you won't need the latest OS builds, just a good stable Base. Then cook in the applications you need.
Or try one of the Light ROM's and use SASHIMI to install the CAB's you need?
Ta
Dave
when reading through the above list, there are not many apps remaining which can be considered as "garbage".
i think he is talking about a full rom

Please, STOP Spam.
This is bull****............
no not bull****. i might actually use this rom if someone would make it. the appz are exactly the same as i use. maybe add a couple of messaging and multimedia bundle, but all in all .. i think it's a great "recipe"
it looks pretty much like every full ROM that's out there.. maybe you should flash a few more and try
If you want your ROM, COOK IT!!! But do not spam here like you are doing with this senseless thread.

Anyway maybe he can't find out of that, SilvioMarco i will advice you to this thread. About how to learn to cook a rom. Here [TUT]ROM for everyone (video tutorial to cook the ROM ) And then you download the Video he have posted, and do the same as he do !
And if you need anyhelp, you can make a new topic. So we can help you to maybe be a good cook ?
Good luck.

Radio toggle tool

Hi everybody,
I was searching for a tool which toggles the radio, i.e. each time it starts it puts the radio on or off, the tool from VJVolubilis (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=255911) would be fine, but it also turns off the data connection, and doesn’t turn it on again, at least it behaves this way on my Acer F900.
The other tool I found has the same problem.
And now my question:
Can some give me a code sample how to switch on/ off the radio, maybe I can make the tool myself.
Please post me truly simple sample, otherwise I won’t understand it
Thanks in advance

Hi depp2web
Install the cab file attached.
Cheers

Hi andrew,
thanks for your reply, but it has the same problem like the other tools, the data connection stays switched off.

Hi depp2web
I am by no means an expert but I think you might be able to achieve your objective with a Mortscript. There is a Mortscript examples thread so it's worth checking through that. Alternatively, look at the script options and see what you can put together.
Best wishes
andrew-in-woking
Hi Andrew,
I already thought about mortscript, but I would most likely end in a script which starts the comm. manager of the phone and simulates the mouse clicks, rather unsexy…
I’d like to have an “invisible” app, because I use it to switch off the radio while I’m still reading my newsletter in the browser (yes I’m very stingy on my battery), and I really don’t want some other apps to pop up at this time.
Try XroM_Switch with the parameter "phone" to toggle phone
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=639003
Source code of Phone_Switch
Hi, thx for the next tool,
Well from what I see it will work (my cyrillic is really bad *haha*)
But when make a link with the phone parameter, it still shows the form, and no action is done
I modified the link to make it look like this:
38#"\Program Files\Zeugs\XroM_Switch.exe" phone
Any ideas what might be the problem?
Edit:
And thanks for the source code!
Your standalone program (in Phoneswitch.zip)
is exactly the app I was searching for, great job and thanks a lot
Have a nice weekend
