Hi everyone,
at last i get my P3600 HTC.
Now i would like to update the ROM to WM6.
I'd prefer to install an official ROM like the DOPOD one from ASIA.
Could you pls tell me where to get this ROM and the utility that let me install this ROM on an HTC device.
And the i heard that someone has bricked his device using this ROM, it is real?

It's one of the most stable Rom I ever had... I tried all of them... They hav all their spaciality but Ax3l is simple and has only the most important things in it. All the rest can added seperatly.
This rom works with all software you can download.

now i want to come back to the offial wm5 rom but when i enter in the bootloader mode it says "serial" and not USB so i can't do any other update
how can i do?

Try flashing it to t-mobile wm6 then use Excalibur USPL- CID BYPASS, afterward just flash it like any other rom. Thats how I did mine and I have the same error as yours.
I've been running it all day. It's a bit quicker but nothing major.
Is this quicker than the Rogers ROM? Any reason to upgrade to this?
Does the ROM support SDHC cards?
Any early verdict on better or worse than the Rogers Rom?

Is the ROM mentioned in this thread suitable for me ?
I think it says ..Brightpoint_US.. in the filename, so it's for the US only ?
I do not have access to the HTC support area since my device is non-HTC branded. Maybe someone can upload a german version of the 1.33 ROM if available ?

Downlod the latest ROM from Dopod site, be sure that you have activesync 4.5 instaled, connect your device to the computer and run the update. Your battery must be over 50% and don't disconect your device when the ROM update is running (wait until it is finished).

BTW, you should check better on Dopod site, on the left side you have subdirectories for manuals, driver, ROM updates, etc.

question: it can be possible than i dont see the update because i registred to the site clicking on "i haven't purchsed it" because right now i don't have the s/n..so they don't allow me to access to the download area..it can be?

Try hard reset, it will revert your device to the factory settings and might solve camera problems that is if you did not drop you device.

Hi Bro, managed to get v1.22 from somwhere else. By the way, when I upgrade until the end, it stuck there and inform me that "Data read time out" :-s. Something wrong here :-/. It happens with v1.15 also. Please help.
For v1.22 do I need to have XCSD Tools 1.5.7 to flash rom? I currently use XCSD 1.5.4 only, is it the problem. Hix, cannot download from rapidshare hence cannot download ur software bro.

when you install firmware, you have to select the corrected file.
- bootloader *.bin
- OS *.bin
- Radio rom *.mot
if you select correct, it should be fined.

My P50 has installed the 1.15 firmware but without the wireless radio because every time i try to install it using the XCSD tool it would say device time out or something then it would ask me to remove the device from USB and remove the battery for a while then try to download again. The cycle continues on and on. Any suggestions on how to remedy this?

I had this issue the first time i tried but i removed battery for a minute, performed a hard reset soft reset + power button for 3 seconds exited the software and reopened and then tried again and it worked fine.

I dont beleive that there is a 1.22 rom in english, take it they had even more bugs with other countries software! lol
Still get the issue where after composing a text if i put it into standby the keys are active.
Working on a program to change the mode but at work and code is at home so will bring it into work and have a blast tomorow incase that helps people.

using it for nearly a day now, i can only say: i am amazed!
not that i dont appreciate all the stuff from our amazing cooks!!!! , but this rom is by far simply the best working!!!!!!!
fast and responsive throu all i do with it! no little "aw, this aint workings"
all i am missing, i simply customize via cabs from the collections.
just on the side: feels to me "loading the battery" is more "solid" here - takes a little longer, but in combination with an originally implemented radio rom....this makes me think....works better than all the "draining roms".

It's the latest HTC stock rom. It's in WWE Language, downloaded from HTC website, and I've edited the .nbh file with NBHUtil so it will flash to your device. Also, only the OS is included in this .nbh, so it won't change your radio version, SPL or Splash screen. I recommend flashing from Internal Storage. It's the fastest and safest way. If you're unsure how, search the forum. You'll find a guide on how to do this. And remember to hard reset when it says Update Successful!
