I am using the 6 tab editable Kaiser plug from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1388377&postcount=609 and no matter what I do, I can't seem to be able to get the QuickDial tab to show. Could not get it with the regular 6 tab plug, either.
Anyone successfully getting the QuickDial tab?
(using mUn's latest.)

Seems that u've installed TFLO. In that way u need to delete HLKM\Software\oem\masd\quickdial
Yes, I've found a link to solve the prob. Right here
I think I was the only person who wanted to remove the quick dial.

Anyone find a registry fix for this yet? all incoming texts coming in on time but the time stamp is 4 hours off.. exactly the same issue people faced using the HTC Touch Diamond.
Did you try this:
HKLM\Software\OEM\PhoneSetting\
Create a DWORD: "TrustTimeZoneField"
Value: "0"
That is the HTC Touchd Diamond fix.. the Samsung Registry is different and does not have that exact path.
You should have provided us with some extra info.
You did not mention it was a Samsung device
crap... I thought I was in the samsung thread... yeah I have a samsung Omnia
is your timezone configured properly?

Hi,
I was told that, samsung i900, or whatever smartphone not provided by rogers, cannot use 3g function (data service), such as MSN and surfing the internet.
Is it true on your case?
Thanks
thanks this worked on my Palm Treo Pro. Finally.
hi, this is my first post and I got the same problem. However I don't know how to edit the registry to fix the time issue. Can someone with a lot of patience help me out with this? thanks. I just got the phone yesterday and havent altered anything yet.

Thanks it worked for me! Quick question! When I select a suggested word it doesn't put a space after is there any quick fix for this...(besides pressing the space bar )
Thanks!
@MimicZ
You need to go to: Settings > Input
Somwhere there is an option called: Add space after suggested word.
It should be there somewhere, I'm thinking about this at 2:00am
Another tip if you use a small keyboard. You can use gestures on the keyboard. Swipe to the right to add an space!

Geez I just noticed this was totally the wrong thread lol I'm doing a bunch of registry edit to make the phone and had a bunch of pages open lol But thanks for the answer I didn't find it in the settinge but I'll continue to see what can be done in the right place!
It's in Input.
Then the 3rd tab...
I have been trying to find a solution to get a 3 column programs tab instead of 4 columns.
I am currently using EnergyRom 20090616 and I like everything exept that i cant change to the 3 column program tab.
Have tried to find a solution to this on this forum but have not found anything so I hope someone here has the answer.
Thanks in advance and if I missed the answer when I checked I am very sorry

The Opera browser does it automatically. For everything else, practically every TP2 owner has installed 'Gyrator 2' or 'screenChanger' (my favourite), which are free apps utilising the G-Sensor. They run pretty much silently and allow you to configure which programs you want to rotate etc.
Get the TP2 - You know you want to.
Yes. But only by sliding out the keyboard. You can use the G sensor, but then you have to adjust the registry.
Theres a reg hack to enable the change orientation function to be shown in the screen to change button assignments. So you can set when you hold down the send button it changes to landscape mode. And you don't have to pull out the keyboard!
I can't remember what it was mind.. but it's on these forums somewhere.
thank you all.
thank you brynweb for those programs.
thank you quarintus.
andrewrees: if you remember the post, please tell me.
thanks a lot
i have tried Gyrator, and the problem i´ve seen is that the program must be running if you want to rotate screen.
correct or im wrong?
you dont need to use any program
there is a reg hack on here to allow it to tilt auto in things like calender etc etc
read this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=526701
I did the reg that doesnt need any program running and it works great. With a bit of modding I got it to do TomTom, too.
TomTom on PDA is OK, but it still doesnt have text to speach for spoken street names.

changeScreen does a better job of hiding itself than Gyrator. One day I'll use the reg hack, but I'm still in the tinkering stage where I can't make up my mind about what programs I want to rotate, so it's easier for me to use the program option right now.

That is correct. However, mine starts itself at startup and you can tell it to minimise when it starts, so you don't need to worry about starting it up all the time. It also doesn't use much memory, so you don't need to worry about that either.

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a ROM out there that offers a tweak that allows the Zoom bar to be used to scroll thru lists like the old TP1. So it will save time with File explore and other apps. Thanks, and i am sorry if i posted this in the wrong place.
Also if there is anyother tweaks for the Zoom bar

+1 would love to have this as a cab!!
The zip contains a reg file only, simply import it with any reg tool, the scrolling function works.

Which rom are you using... if the chef is using a smarttouch.dll from another phone ext like leo it will not work... if you open opera or IE it should allow you to zoom in using the phone zoom bar.. the registry containes allot of entries so it should support allot of different applications....
edit: may need a reboot to take effect.

im using fusion rom v5.1 and zoom already works on opera,
will it work on scrolling through contacts on beejive im ?
Ive just started using this tweak and its pretty nice, but im wondering if its possible to reverse the setting. I would rather sliding to the right mean scrolling upward (up dpad) than what it is now. Also take into account that when i expose the keyboard and attempt to to slide to scroll up, i actually have to slide down to scroll up!
can u guys can make 2 work with iris browser that would by nice
Am I missing something, I installed the cab and restarted the phone. Nothing. Soft reset, still nothing. Do I then have to enable something? Using a TP2 on Verizon. Is this GSM only?
Thanks
Really the only app I'd need for this is MICROSOFT READER so I can slide right to turn a page and slide left to go back.
I see the reg hacks, but am unsure what to use for ClassName for Reader..
can you help?
Thanks,
Rick
works great
on my tmobile tp2 flashed to 6.5 European rom...
Works somewhat on stock sprint rom only a few apps actually work but hey I like thanks
Any chance it works on Topaz?
