I am looking for this applications to configure the network operator on Cingular 8525.
I have recently installed the WM6 official release and the network wizard that comes with this release does not have US in the list of coutries.
Can anybody help??
download here Network Settings Wizards,
http://www.europe.htc.com/support/software/htcp3600.html
I use it for my hermes, works great
UK operators [O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone...]
France [SFR, Orange, Bouygues...]
Germany [O2, T-mobile, E-plus, Vodafone...]
Italy [Vodafone, Wind, TIM, 3]
Spain [Movistar, Orange, Vodafone]
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland
Thanks for the info, this is a great website, but I could not find anything for US, such as T-Mobile or AT&T.
Any ideas as to why US is not listed?
Can someone please post the Network Wizard for ASIA in cab format? (The Latest version 2.15.5 please)
It features settings for India. I can't seem to find it on the HTC site.
Thanks in advance
There you go...
It had a deceptive name, but nothing OCP cab manager couldn't dig out...

Thank you very much.
This is a great community.
i'm having the same problem, giving me a "Your current operator (31041) is not supported" error. I'm with AT&T and the Operator Settings cabs have not had any effect.
Just add the settings manually instead.
The reason HTC havent made a settings wizard for US carriers is because the TyTN has only been released for Europe afaik.
Asia setting cab

Its available in latest official rom which was released 2 days ago, u will have to request some one to extract it, or just flash the latest rom from dopod which will upgrade u to wm06.
Pramod Naidu
echoz has kindly posted the cab. This way if I use a cooked rom, I can still install the network wizard.
I'm using a cooked ROM too.. so yeah... its always nice to have netwiz around..
Thank you very much.
have u checked if it works
have u checked if it works on AT&T roms, bec when i flashed sleuths new wm06 rom , it didnt accept this netwiz cab, it said this is for dopod asia.
The Asia Network Wizard DOES work with Satin (at least with Normal and Medium - haven't tried Light). This is because JJ's rom is based on the Dopod rom
Can anyone help hack the wizard so that it does work with NON DOPOD roms?
Thanks

Yeah, me neither. Where can we get it?
I accidentally installed the cab file above to my HTC tilt and now it say error not a dopod phone and my home background change colors. How do I remove this file?
wrong forum.... You want the Kaiser forum...
Original WWE ROM from Dopod comes with an application called 'Network Wizard'. What it does, it auto detects the network settings as soon as a SIM card is inserted. The CAB file from this application is stored on the Extended ROM.
Unfortunately, when you flash your device with the cooked ROM, the application no longer works. It will only work with the Dopod ROM.
So I take the courtesy to modify the file to make it works for all Hermes ROMs.
Operators included in the database are from: Australia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Tested to work with Schaps 3.54b ROM.
Enjoy!
Alternatively you can also use the Kaizer Network Wizard CAB file from JUV. However, this one won't auto detect a SIM card settings. You have to do it manually.
thanks man i've been looking for this
cheers mate

If unable to create a wizard, can pls at least create a two cab file that would input the network setting for both China Mobile and China Unicom.
Thank you so much guys!

Update: added new CSC-s from CSC_I9000OXAJM1
Hi just to let you know... i changed it once to try and i lost all my softwares... so don't try to change it for fun if you are not ready to lose your apps and settings.
MTL = mtel - Bulgaria - www.mtel.bg
happens to be your mobile operator
You can understand which one is what by looking at /system/csc/<CSC>/system/csc/customer.xml
Where <CSC> is the corresponding 3-letter sales code.
When i had to chose mine, i was expecting ITA, but instead it showed ITV.
I did a bit of research and it looked like it was the one related to Italy, so i selected ITV and nothing strange happened. APNs were correct for my operator, so i guess my guess was right.

I bought SGS on the same place and have the same code. DBT should stand for GERMANY
updated to JM5 via Odin and now my product code is "SER" and can't change to other...any info????
This thread deserves a pin
Singtel = XSO
Some reported Singtel using SIN.
I agree on making this sticky or, better, adding to the FAQ.
Why is not Italy ITV added in 1st post?
When i do this i get "refused" message, (i got it in dutchs "Geweigerd" ="refused")
To bad there aren't any dutch (Netherlands) CSC's
DBT - Germany
XEU - UK
