UNLOCKING the MDA PRO?

Hello, I have the universal, the MDA pro.
How can I unlock this device? it's a PU10.
and
Can I update with the I-mate rom without unlocking?

Yes you can I did upgrade mine from German to English but SIM lock is still there

NO , flush rom will not change any sim lock, if you UNI is unlock

MDA VARIO T MBOBILE UK - UNLOCK

Hi guys, i am a newbie so plz excuse me if i ask anything stupid or act plain :?
i have been searching around the foroum but getting confused with all the different models / jargon.
seem to just be getting forwarded to other forum msgs etc..
Country: UK
Phone: MDA Vario
Network: T- Mobile
i wish to unlock it on Orange (UK).
Could someone plzzzz guide me the right way??

I have the same problem with the poster, and I found all the unlock softwares I can found on this forum or otherwhere are unsuitable for my t-mobile(UK) vario.
Could any guys please help me?

I used Lokiwiz02b to unlock my tmobile uk vario, it worked perfectly. just go for Lokiwiz02b.zip or never 03 version and it's really easy. don't be affraid;]

I can't thank you enough for this - I tried the vanilla lockiwiz but not the other lockiwiz zip files in other posts - why I don't know - just not thinking out of the box, soooo grateful

Hello guys, I am in TW and I was planning to upgrade the P3600 to the DOPOD 9110 which has more speed and storage. But the question is that I need to have this unlocked. Is it possible? What's the process since I do have a sim (USA and one from Italy) that I need to use.

I suggest you to look at the post dedicated to the P3600i : this is the same hardware.

I flashed Rogers after first flashing WM 6.0 from TMO on my S620.
then I flashed HTC then kavana, then about 3 from rickwyatt.
Only problem I had with any was when I went from Rogers to HTC wouldnt work and had to go back to TMO rom then flash. With the cooked roms no problems

As far as the differences you really need to know...there aren't any major ones. They basically have the same functions. There are minute differences between the two. If you're really interested in the specs, just visit the HTC website and look at the specifications between the two phones.

Just tried to flash my S620 with the Rogers S621, no luck.

Its because the rogers ROM is an Official ROM and does not work with unbranded Rogers Excaliburs.

They are both HTC Excaliburs. As per above posts, there a couple of minor aesthetic differences.
You need to unlock the phone before you can apply different ROMS.
